I love your workouts! I can’t pay the fees for expensive gyms and workout sessions, and I have found the perfect solution with your workouts! I am already feeling tighter and stronger! Thank you!!!
So grateful to have found your channel! I’m 63 and after being given back the gift of movement, after two decades of restriction due to severely arthritic knees, I’m now working out 6 times a week - 3 days with you and heavier weights and 3 days with another gal….all dumbbell workouts but different muscle groups. I take Sunday off, do a walk! The gift of the return of movement came via a breakthrough technology that delivers glutathione inside my cells in seconds, bypassing the gut…and it’s not IV! My life was transformed, I was speed walking within 2 weeks and have been working out with you since January 2! Feeling SO strong, so flex, graduating up the weights and obsessed with your sage wisdom and compassionate approach. Thank you!!!
I also wanna know about that therapy. At age 70 I’ve been having pain from an arthritic hip that has gotten worse. The pain has gotten worse, though the x-ray doesn’t show more deterioration. I’ve got some lower back pain as well, but it doesn’t stop me from exercising and walking, but hip is now getting in the way. I don’t know if my health plan would offer the therapy you’re talking about but at least if I know about it, I can bring it up.
@@dede5004 maybe she just hasn't gotten notified about any comments to her post? There is also Google you can check as well, I know I am going to talk to one of our trainers and do research myself. I have my mom going through some struggles with her knee as well Stay healthy always!
I am a man and 48. Genetics play a part (I am naturally leaner than others) but even though I am in a caloric deficit, I am still putting on muscle and losing fat. Resistance training 3x per week, cardio 7x per week, HIIT, and Tae Kwon Do lessons. Cardio is mostly light walking on the treadmill with simulated hills and a burst of running. Dedicated cardio sessions are 30-45 mins. Pretty fanatical about my diet. Lean sources of protein everyday, no fast food, lots of fruits, and vegetables. I supplement whey protein and creatine. My workout routine evolved from just a commitment to a walk around the block everyday. Push-ups and crunches came later, followed by a pull up bar, and now the gym. Even picked up a part-time job at my gym. Went from 222 to 196. Fruit and creatine pre-workout, protein right after. Also do a whey and casein shake right before bed on hard workout days. Read some research that it is beneficial to muscle growth. I am a former police officer in recovery from PTSD and drug/alcohol abuse. My new “addiction” is becoming obsessed with rebuilding my body and my life, God willing. I do have the heart of a champion. It has not been easy but I would be dead without exercise. Research shows that you are actually able to change the way your genes express themselves through diet and exercise. Get after it!
I love that you share your story, it will encourage someone new to get started! ♥️ Also, I know many addicts who have used exercise to assist with their recovery. I hope you feel proud of your effort to make positive changes. Congratulations 👏🏻
Working out 7 days per week. Is not good. You need rest day ls to recover. And addiction from one thing to another isn't good either. As far as working out, it's called balance. Rest, renew, reset, repair, and go at it again.
@OldmanCrypto100 The Lord wants you to fast to basically starve and die to the flesh. ( the flesh is bad and will lead you to sin ) When you fast, you go without something we as people often take for granted, food so it's quite hard to fast bur the Lord knows that and he will give you the strength to complete your fast. The Lord also wants you to fast so you have no other choice but to depend on him for, again, strength and also discipline etc. Sorry for the paragraph but this is kind christian fasting in a nutshell
Is fasting required for Christians? No. God required the Israelites to fast on Atonement Day, but he eliminated that observance after Jesus permanently atoned for the sins of repentant people. (Hebrews 9:24-26; 1 Peter 3:18) Christians are not under the Mosaic Law, of which Atonement Day was a part. (Romans 10:4; Colossians 2:13, 14) Therefore, each Christian may decide for himself whether to fast.-Romans 14:1-4.
Hi C C I usually watch your video from my TV so I haven't been able to comment. I have to say I absolutely love your exercise format. I never really understood weights but you have changed all that for me. I love what you have taught me and my body feels so good. I am fitter and so toned my clothes fit really well. At 59 I am literally the fittest I have ever been. I have been doing the 30 minute format for about 6 weeks and i am amazed at how present I feel. Sending you much appreciation and love for putting so much consideration and love I to your videos. ❤
Some possible ways to manage weight. Eat small portions, if left hungry wait at least 2-3 hours for next meal. GI tract plus adnexes is slow. Monitor urine color, darker and foam can tell muscle loss or too large amino acid intake denitrifation outcomes. Wear little too much, if sweaty at once starting activities, you eat to gain weight. If hot at idle activity, gaining weight. Surplus muscle with no demand, what could be the reasonable reason?
@@veritasveritae9578 yes, eat protein and carbs and fiber, just eat normal, without excessive amounts of carbs. That protein only trend will go away soon. Just eat, lift weights, go for a run and live 😊
@@veritasveritae9578 muscles are made from protein and actually water that is stored to some degree from the processing of glucose. But to build the muscle, you have to have enough protein plus work hard. Together they stimulate the growth of the muscle. You can grow some muscle with less protein, but it’s harder and the older you are, the less efficient, your body processes, the protein you take in.
So thankful to have stumbled upon your channel! Love these workouts and so informative! I know we can't afford the prices of gyms and honestly, ppl think gyms are meat markets, bothering you constantly with wanting to chat instead of lift! So I rather be at home where no one will bother me and I can focus more! Again, thankful lovely lady!
If you're overweight and want to slim down to a certain size, would you have to lose the weight first before you lifted weights so that you won't look bulky?
Three days a week with a weight that feels like a lot of effort for the last two repetitions. Do one exercise 3 times with 12 up and down repetition Take a 30 second rest between each set of repetitions. That would be your best starting point. @kimberlykane7065
I’m 42 I’ve gone from lifting 2-3x now I do 4x per week and although tiring (amazing how weights can tire you out) I sleep well, look lean but muscular and feel amazing. Weekly: 2x upper body 2x lower body Walk for an hour most morning (my cardio) Fully rest Wednesdays Plenty of protein Eat every 2-3 hours Have a daily treat because I can 😅 Best shape of my life ❤
Absolutely! You do not have to be new to lifting weights to burn fat weight off of the body, you merely need to work hard enough to burn off more calories than you are eating, not only when you are exercising, but in your waking & sleeping hours too!
I’m 53 and have belly fat and really no energy - want to build strength and endurance so I can do more. I’m tired even when I wake up! What’s good? Cardio or strength or combo?
I've heard that the hormone changes in menopause can cause extreme fatigue, so you may want to do some research and see if that could be a factor in why you are so tired ❤
New sub ! 66yrs young and appreciate how you show and explain each exercise. I don't feel pressured ( if that makes sense) . Thanks for showing "seasoned" folk how to get it done!🏋🏽♀️
I struggle to keep weight on and very thin. How can I gain muscle? I just want to be lean and look healthy ? I don’t want to lose more weight by working out.
Love these shorts ! I am close to turning 50 and want to start lifting weights again. Revamp my life . Do more for myself . Etc . I will subscribe right now !
Ive been working out for 14 days now, i did my first boditrax scan last week and another today. IT SAID I LOST MUSCLE AND GAINED FAT. How did this happen 🫠 im also not very hydrated so the results may not be accurate
Cee, do you know anything about bioimpedance scales. Specifically skeletal muscle and muscle mass. My muscle mass shows high but my skeletal muscle is at the low end of normal. I dont understand it?
Love you girl! I have recently gained 10 lbs and looking to go back to healthy living and I’ve just come across your channel. I know you’ll help me a lot. ❤🥹
Beautiful body, I salute you for your perseverance. 💯 I am going to try your Programme with lighter weights just to tighten my skin sagging from weight loss.
I love your workouts and your body is amazing. Thanks for motivating me to be better n more diligent with my work outs simple is what I like . Thank you
New subscriber here! This is the first video of yours I've seen, and its already taught me something. Do you have amy videos for a complete behinenr to wright lifting/training?
that hasn't really been working for me, unfortunately. Although i'm eating plenty of protein, I lost about 5 lbs, then hit an annoying plateau. I'm now going to just focus on a building phase and stop worrying about losing those last 10lbs. Maybe as my body builds muscle and a new shape that fat will just get eaten up in the process. I was not in a huge deficit either; eating 1500 calories, which is about 250 deficit for me.
As you get closer to your goal weight recomposition gets nearly impossible because you don't have much fat to use. From my research, once you get close to your goal it can be better to do cycles of gaining muscles followed by a cycle of cutting fat and to train/eat differently during those cycles. But always do your own research ❤
Yes, I’m doing this and high protein and it’s working finally!!!!!! I never thought I would get tired and burnt out from it all but I have and today I Cheating and not working g out!!!! It sucks, I hope tomorrow is better!!!! I lost my motivation!!!!😢
Your back looks AWESOME ! And so does the rest of you❤ I only noticed your back cause unfortunately my back looks crooked from curvature of the spines making one hip higher than the other 😢
So if I'm not in a deficit because it's so frustrating to find an app that I can recall put on my food things on. Recording them on. Then I won't I've been doing weights for a couple years and my love handles are sitting there like they are not leaving. It's really frustrating. At the same time I do like to exercise it makes you feel good and it makes me feel like I've just it just makes you feel good in my mind and my body and yet the fat is just sticking to my waistline and my mommy Pudge is just... It's frustrating.
Literally just happened upon you after opening my weights for my home only workouts. Love this info! A now new subscriber who's excited to see where you take us and where Il1l be by December. Thank you! Cheers!
I love your video's. I just started working out with you. I just started using weights. I'm hoping when I weigh in on Monday that I've lost weight and not gained....😂😮😂
That's the one thing I'm not doing I'm not eating in a calorie deficit... Working out is easy I want someone to count my calories for me. I don't like checking my what I eat
