These Weihrauch HW 95s are absolutely everything anyone needs, I have had one for years but a while ago go I regrettably sold my De luxe in 22 but at the time needs must and I missed it so much as it was my go too rifle and a back up but as I had a hw 97k it was a decision which one was to go. But as I say I missed the 95 and this week I took delivery of another 95. I’ve always found that Accu pells and Hades pellets have been the guns preferred choice but it’s not that pellet fussy but those two are which I use. But anyone looking for a light accurate rifle that will bring home the bacon you can’t go wrong with Hw95k, oh and this one is a keeper and will not be sold.

i own multiple weihrauchs including the 95k but my favourite is my 97k i have tried loads of different brands of pellets and the most accurate pellet i found is the HN field target trophy the weihrauchs love them i don't use any other pellet it's awesome 1inch grouping over 35yrds try them don't think you'll be disappointed great video keep up the good work 👍👍 from the uk

Yes my 95 also loves the FTTs 14.6 grain, also RWS Superfield.

OMG!! I just ordered the HW95N in .20 caliber. I knew you had an HW95 review coming, but didn't know it was the 95N. They said they would pick me out a nice stock. I hope it looks as good as this one. I been wanting to see a video of the stock on these . The Walnut looks awesome. I have 2000 of the .20 caliber JSB Diablo's on hand. I sure hope mine likes those.

I been shooting my HW95N every chance I get between the rain and the wind. Absolutely love the HW95 and the Walnut stock looks great on mine too. This one quickly became one of my favorite air rifles to shoot. Doesn't weight 11-13 lbs scoped like my other favorites.

Beautiful and well made rifle however extremely under powered to me.! Like to add that most know that elevation indeed affects velocities, however chronograph very between each other often. I’ve seen them be off as much as 40+ FPS. My bet is the average speed difference is a combination of both, but more the chronographs. Great review BTW

Unfortunately the markets are now focused on PCPs or high powered air piston break barrels that are pretty much disposable. I have springers from the 80s that shoot just as good now as they did way back in the day. I also have a stack of air pistons that are used for parts that shot only for a couple years and quite working.

Good video! A funny note: according to a web dictionary, Weihrauch is pronounced Vie How, which rhymes with... Get this... Buy Now! Not making this up. Now I can remember this German word. It is a person's name. In English it means INCENCE. I have a Beeman Mantis and highly recommend German engineered air guns. They are vundabar! ...wonderful...

Can Gamo make an airgun that shoots as good as the Weihrauch and price them accordingly to compete in the pricier airgun market?

They came close with the Gamo Hunter Extreme Pro. The beech stock is awesome. The trigger requires a screw mod. It's a 26-28 FPE gun. It's Bluing is nice, but not quite as good. I caught mine on sale for just under 200.00, but they range from 250-300 now. Still not a WEIHRAUCH, but sure worth the price compared to in that price range. It's the last of the Wood and Steel Barrel/Breech block Gamo's.@@joeyarcher3263

@@joeyarcher3263Absolutely they can! Number 1: They need to get away from pushing the high volicity and gas piston's and start using smoother shooting steel coiled spring's in their rifles. Backing the power down to about 16-17 FPE will immensely improve shooting performance. 2: Having all steel breach block's and wedge detent's will also make a big difference in longevity of the rifle. 3: Using wood stock's over plastic will also settle down the shot cycle. 4: A steel trigger blade and precision steel open sights would perfectly top off the package.

Great demo of a top quality air rifle. Perhaps on camera you were taking pressure off the trigger blade a little too soon? I find it helpful to imagine 'guiding' the pellet towards the target, that is, keeping as steady and consistent as possible during and just after the shot is released.

With All springers or gas rams you have to pay attention to the power to weight ratio to help remedy piston slam. Piston slam is what loosens up stock screws etc and blows out scopes like a joke. Where too light a pellet will just fly out the barrel a heavier pellet will add some resistance and provide a sort of air cushion between the piston & the end of the cylinder while trying to propel the projectile. A fps above 650 should provide you with a pretty flat trajectory to just over 25 yards which is the distance most spingers are comfortable at. Keep shooting 🔫🔫

I will get some heat for what I’m about to write! But : that FPS is terrible! I get the nostalgia/ heritage/ quality / durability of these rifles , but Not for me. As much as people Hate to accept it; I can name like 10 rifles that have better performance than this one. Don’t get me wrong! It is a masterpiece, but for that price!!!!!!! It really doesn’t make sense to me, but that is only MY OPINION ! It might be stupid opinion, but I maintain it. Maybe at $450 I would consider. Thank you for the video, as always very informative, and thank you Airguns from Arizona for making it possible.

The HW95 needs no explanation anymore but i love that stock. Hopefully Weihrauch will quit with that stupid cut out in the rear end of the stock with the beech models.

The W is pronounced as a V. It's insulting to Germans when you intentionally miss pronounce the word ("W is a V") Just a heads up.

It's pronounced " Vie-r-OW " -- "Vie" as in to vie for something - soft "r" - "OW" as in the word used to express sudden pain. ...NOT...why-rock or vie-rock either. The German word enunciation is not hard. ALL of UK and AoA say it wrong but no one bothers to learn it. 🤦🏻‍♂ If your in the industry please learn to say it correctly. I think the worst pronunciation I've ever heard was "Wine-Ruck" ...LOL.
