To be fair Chuck, in those conditions the shooting results were excellent. I have the 95 and 97, not a lot in it accuracy wise, I have put TBT kits in mine to eliminate the buzz. Vortek kits in my part of the world are too expensive. Thank for the video.
@@springpistonriflefeverlone9611 yes, the guy is terrible in replying. I got one off eBay for my hw30 and it really makes a huge difference. Got an extra foot pound of energy and the firing cycle is a soft thud. Silky smooth too.
Thank you for the video. I found the Jim Maccarri kit to be the smoothest and best, , After months of reading forums and searching, The vortex kit has a few problems , The spring will loose power over time and there are a lot of fitting issues with there outside guide, The TBT kit is very nice and Tim is very help full nice guy I will buy one soon . I also have 3 original Weihrauch springs a 7lbs 12lbs and 17lbs they all required polishing but are fine with proper install and lube. Just for fun Chuck right now i am trying STP and graphite mixed and seems to working well .. Having problems finding real Molly at a good price lol. The cheapest thing with the best result was buying Allen screws all stainless with fitting washers for my 97, I think it was 15 dollars. All the best and God bless you Chuck for the videos even if utube hates us lol..
FACT ! I go well out of my way to try ALL maker's kits, same formats, side by side, same conditions. I use ARH kits religiously based on my own "Actual Experience" if something new comes along I make it a point to find out for myself, but I have been AirGunning for 56 years and repaiing, kitting, and tuning rifles for over 30. I'm not taken in by marketing. The Old School/New School blather is Absolute Rubbish. There is nothing new in AirGunning that hasn't "Already" been done before ! The improvements over the years are all hard fought and miniscule compared to the sheer number of Airguns produced and sold. Yes it's the innovators that make all the progress, but some of them would do well to honestly do some research to find out why many of these hare-brained ideas fell flat on their face "The 1st. Time" ! New School... ??? 😄😁😆😅😂🤣🤣 ROFLASTC'S 🙀🙀
Hey Chuck, Thanks for the video. I've been busy for awhile doing family stuff so I haven't been watching much RU-vid. It's nice to see you still at it. Boy, I do envy you!!! You also look thinner like you lost about ten or so pounds. Hope you get to do a lot of hunting and enjoy the outdoors with your son and fishing!!! Stay Safe. Be Well. GOD BLESS.
Thanks chuck really enjoyed video as someone else commented thats great shooting in those conditions and you didn't edit to make them look better we all have good and bad days makes it interesting those that knock you don't get off they're butt's and put them self's out there on video. I been nosing around hw 35 videos as i don't have 1 would be nice to hear your comments 😢keep up the good work thanks alan
Thank you Alen 🙂👍. I think that the HW35 would be a very nice classic addition. The only thing that I would like to see out of Weihrauch is a 25-30 FPE spring piston rifle. I know that they won't do that because of the market in Europe and other countries restrictions and it would be much bigger, heavier, harder to cock and shoot well, but it would do very well in windy 🌬️🍃 conditions.
Two very good rifles i have the 77k and even on a bad day perfect shooting i do not have a 95 but i have two hw 80 rifle the 80k and the 80s and some history with the 80s
Gorgeous guns Chuck and brilliant shooting! To be fair the target seemed to blowing around a lot more when shooting the 77 so i wouldn't put it down to your marksmanship. Great editing skills my your son too!
Loved the review! You're a tad too hard on yourself, lol.. That group with the 97 coupled with high wind is phenomenal! I've got a 95 with a PG3 installed. It is a D-R-E-A-M - GOD IS GOOD!
The Underlever advantage is "Only" slight and mostly theoretical compared to a person comfort, and enjoyment with the format. Tigger Time, Practice, and Experience will make you accurate ! 😉👍 If you don't enjoy a particular format you are a Whole Lot less likely to put in the necessary time to Ever get proficient with it... 🤷🏼♂️
Thank you Nick🙂👍. You are right, they are getting very expensive. Think I have all the HW rifles I want. Ps, best get what you want now, before it is impossible to buy later.
The wind would drive me Bats. 😣 Spent enough time in South Dakota to know I could never live there. 🤷🏼♂️ I love Wyoming, but pretty much the same until you get deep into the Mountains. If I'm not shooting, I'm fly fishing... wind just doesn't work for me me. To make matters worse I have extremely accute hearing and all the white noise deafens me. 😫
@@springpistonriflefeverlone9611Well, I definitely understand your interest In Super Magnum Springers, Chuck Under the circumstances it's your Best Alternative ! 😉👍
I really think that the Hatsan 95 22 will do really well. The 125 needs a little more work done to tighten up the forks. Think I will have to find or make a washer to fit under the pivot bolt 🔩 to allow a little more pull on the forks. I say this, because the barrel is a little lose on lock up.
Hi😊 I,m from Europe. Can you show a measure in metric system, please? I,m watching this film and completly don,t understand dystance or power of the air gun.
In all honesty your second group that you weren't as happy with is about the groups I get with my HW97KT most of the times. I will get hole in hole then it opens up because I don't even have 200 pellets through it yet so I'm not use to it. And I tend to take out my PCPs more because there so much lighter and enjoyable to shoot even though I like the 97 a lot it's just to heavy to really enjoy shooting unless I bring my shooting table and chair.
The table I was shooting off was rickety, plastic, with two broken wheels off it. The wind🌬️🍃 was actually pushing me around, in addition to my target blowing🌬️around🍃. Even with your PCP, you would still get pushed around.
@springpistonriflefeverlone9611 believe me Chuck I saw your target blowing up and down that's why I said that was good shooting groups for all that wind.
