It’s killing me that, despite the terrible name and ridiculous concept, “butt boy” looks like it had a pretty decent budget. Imagine being a filmmaker and having that be the highlight of your career.

That first trailer feels like the director accidentally sent 2 movies to the editor and the editor thought it was one movie so they just did their damndest to combine 2 movies into one and make it make sense in some way but failed horribly (as one would expect but hey, they did their best)

Butt Boy genuinely looks pretty interesting, they even got an alcoholic Walmart version of Jason Mamoa. Pretty epic.

After letting this video live rent free in my head for 2+ years, I finally decided to check out Diamond Cobra vs. the White Fox. To my pleasant surprise, it's currently rentable for only $7! So, having only Cody's reaction to the trailer for context, I launched into this badboy. Let me tell you - it is so gloriously insane that it almost defies the human mind's capability to discern parody - which it most certainly is not...I think. Someone in the comments mentioned that it feels like two movies somehow got mixed up together in post and they did their damndest to fold it into one. In truth, Diamond Cobra vs. the White Fox is the brainchild (fever dream?) of the star of the film, Diamond/Tarjella. Please do not fall down the rabbit hole of her IMDb. After watching this movie, I don't dare wonder what Boschian hallucinations inhabit her imagination. tl;dr - This movie is so hilariously wacky it's worth the $7...you've likely never seen anything quite like it. There will be cringe-worthy accents...total non sequiturs in the plotline...an impromptu rendition of Amazing Grace from a dying man. And of course, you'll find out about that damn charger!

Fun fact. In second grade, inspired by Goosebumps, I wrote stories of my class and myself being tormented by "the barbecue ghost". Yes, that was his name. No, I don't know where I got it from either. Hearing "Barbecue Gang" gave me flashbacks, and the funniest part is that I think my second-grade self-insert fanfic was more coherent and well-written than the film.

I feel like that first movie is about 2 ancient Egyptian sisters who fell for the same guy. Sister A gets mad at sister B for stealing her guy so she gets a cursed necklace from a pirate/witch. Then, in the present, detectives are investigating a series of murders in which there is an ancient necklace involved. Simultaneously, the barbeque Gang is coming after dude in red to repay a debt but they'll forgive that debt if he manages to get them that necklace. Either cause a rival gang has it, cause they're aware of its powers or cause they know they can get a lot of money for it. Also, I feel like the barbeque gang was originally written as the Bobby Q gang (named after the old dude) but somebody read it wrong and they were too lazy to fix the mistake.
