A pickle is a blanket term for anything that's been pickled. The only reason why it became popular to refer to pickled cucumbers as just "pickles" was likely because it's easier to say "let me get pickles on my burger please" than "let me get some pickled cucumber slices on my burger please"

the videos where you try weird foods (& often hate them) are some of your most enjoyable content. given your love of spicy stuff, I'd love to see you do a video where you try really hot sauces sometime :D
That plastic tray in the stacked can isn't fancy. That's shrinkflation. When the stacked Lay's was introduced, it was just like Pringles. They added the tray to shrink the chip size to save cost later on.
So when you open the lays bag and smell it it always makes me think of what my friend told me about her best friend from high school. She said that her besties dad told her that when you open a lays chip bag it always smells like farts and now whenever she has Lays or I see someone having Lays I always think of that now so when you opened the bags and were like "oh the smell is strong" I was saying to myself "yea like a fart"
If you do another round of weird Lay's flavours, please be sure to include Thai Boat Noodle Flavour. It is one of _the_ weirdest potato-chip tastes I have ever experienced, as I had no idea what Boat Noodles were before trying the Lay's chip version. After reading up on the dish, I have to say Lay's did a pretty decent job of hitting the taste, but it was quite a shock when it hit my tongue the first time. The bag they came in had some of the coolest artwork I've ever seen on a packet of Lay's, which is largely why I even gave 'em a try!

Watching this episode helped me realize that Taro chips are super popular in my country, but I didn't know it was Taro (we call it Malanga). I thought I had only consumed Taro in bubble tea, but I had been eating it for years!
The folded chips are my absolute favorite part, I always save them for last! I just really love the crunch you get out of them, especially from the rarer triple or even quadruple folded ones. I can see why you like the normal non folded ones still, they’re great too lol
These videos actually make me go and try out new flavors for my snacks because I never do otherwise unless I'm 100% sure I'd like it. Sometimes I end up liking these way more than Peebs does. And other times it's just sharing the pain. Suffering together. In a way, I kinda like it. It makes me laugh both when watching these and when I do it myself. It's weird, but I like it.
The nutri score is so ridiculous, we have it here in germany too. It basically only rates und compares foods that are in the same category, so it would compare those chips to different kinds/brands of chips... guess they are.. kind of.. healthier chips then.. :D doesn't say anything about how nutricious chips are in generel though.. super helpful lol loved the video as always peebs! ♥
When I was a kid we called the folded ones wish chips and if you could get the whole thing in your mouth without it breaking your wish came true lmao. Also anyone in Canada remember the tatziki kettle chips lays did for that flavour contest ? Man I miss those.

I live by a FYE store and they carry a lot of international chips and the meat flavors always comes out like a sweet meat flavor rather than a savory one
The crawfish one made me wonder, do Americans have "prawn cocktail" flavour crisps? They're normal in UK but I'm not sure I've seen Us ever mention it. It's nice. Tastes nothing like an actual prawn cocktail tho. Lol.
Cappucino Lays were my favorite chips ever made and when they took them off shelves after the Show Us Your Flavor promotion i went into a deep depression, i am not the same
I’ve had some weird Lay’s flavours as well, I still remember in my first year of college I had some that were Swiss Chalet Sauce flavour and those were surprisingly good but there are definitely some questionable flavours out there in general
This makes me miss the biscuit and gravy lays flavor, I had it as a kid and remember thinking it was really good apparently... It makes me wonder if I'd still even like it today
Hey Peebs, the nutri score is something that let's you know which products are a healthier pick in a specific category. So when it comes to chips, the A score would be the healthiest option. This also means that the A score in one category is not necessarily healthier than the E score in another.
As a fellow Ranch Dressing enjoyer, I'm surprised you haven't delved into dipping sauces or even the many brands and different flavors of Ranch there are nowadays. Buffalo ranch, pickle ranch, etc.
As someone who does like seafood, I don't think I would like the crayfish chips. Never had actual crayfish. I like fish, crab, shrimp, etc. but never even considered those because it looks weird and gross.
