We also have all the extra chairs back there (There is about 60 chairs that aren't being used) But we don't really sit unless we aren't playing. We can alos be on our phones when were are waiting for like 20 measures or so arent in a part of the song

I played the quads and the band director bought a replacement set of aluminum mallets that felt flimzy to the usual ones we used and I broke one on the first day. He was pissed, but he realized how flimsy they were.
