Loved the running around the couch with the bandits chasing him when they could each take a side and catch him. That's exactly the kind of ineptitude I would expect from the actual Wet Bandits.
I was laughing my ass off at the thought of 2 adult home invaders chasing an 8 year old around a couch while he pelts them with rocks from a sling shot 🤣
Honestly, taking the time to set up all these wacky traps and evasive maneuvers, only for the robber to easily side-step the lures and immediately bludgeon you with a tire-iron is peak comedy. Fantasy rudely interrupted by realism
@BangerContentGrass is a plant with narrow leaves growing from the base. A common kind of grass is used to cover the ground in a lawn and other places. Grass gets water from the roots in the ground. Grasses are monocotyledon, herbaceous plants. The grasses include the "grass", of the family Poaceae (also called Gramineae). Also sometimes it is used to include the sedges (Cyperaceae) and the rushes (Juncaceae). These three families are not closely related but belong to different clades in the order Poales. They are similar adaptations to a common life-style. The true grasses include cereals, bamboo and the grasses of lawns (turf) and grassland. Uses for graminoids include food (as grain, sprouted grain, shoots or rhizomes), drink (beer, whisky), pasture for livestock, thatching thatch, paper, fuel, clothing, insulation, construction, sports turf, basket weaving and many others. Many grasses are short, but some grasses, like bamboo can grow very tall. Plants from the grass family can grow in many places, even if they are very cold or very dry. Several other plants that look similar but are not members of the grass family are also sometimes called grass; these include rushes, reeds, papyrus, and water chestnut. Grasses are an important food for many animals, like deer, buffalo, cattle, mice, grasshoppers, caterpillars, and many other grazers. Unlike other plants, grasses grow from the bottom, so when animals eat grass they usually do not destroy the part that grows. Without grass, dirt can wash away into rivers (erosion). Graminoids include some of the most versatile plant life-forms. They became widespread toward the end of the Cretaceous. Fossilized dinosaur dung (coprolites) have been found containing grass phytoliths (silica stones inside grass leaves). Grasses have adapted to conditions in lush rain forests, dry deserts, cold mountains and even intertidal habitats, and are now the most widespread plant type. Grass is a valuable source of food and energy for many animals. Lawn grass is often planted on sports fields and in the area around a building. Sometimes chemicals and water is used to help lawns to grow.
Yeah something like that would actually be pretty fun. I could see it playing similar to the PvP horror games, with two players as the bandits and then one player as Kevin.
Right???? This would make a fuck ton of money simply from the popularity of the home alone tradition and possibly even having players come back every year if done well. Honestly a very good business idea that would also potentially be a good game
what genre would even be the best for it? i've been thinking something along the lines of mini-game collections (warioware/undertale/among us/rhythm heaven/pokemon stadium mini-games)
Hearing Harry's exact scream of pain from the movie over and over again was hilarious. I think they need to fine tune the hit boxes a little more to compete with FromSoftware's combat.
if I remember correctly the scream is from the second one where they dodge the paint cans hanging from ropes and pretend like they got hurt before a huge metal pipe knocks them down to the first floor
There is a home alone game for the SEGA Genesis. My brothers and I used to play it all the time. It was pretty fun, setting traps and crafting weapons to stop the wet bandits from looting different houses. Needed to stall them until police came.
If someone told me a while back they were playing a Souls-like Home Alone game which involved ghosts boxing and the wet bandits performing 1 hit kills, I'd say they were off their meds but here we are.

That’s so funny that you mentioned Home Alone 3. I was watching Home Alone 2 with my family earlier today, and my brother and I started talking about liking Home Alone 3, even though Mac wasn’t in it. We didn’t like it as much as the first two, but it was entertaining enough when we were kids, and it’s still fun to watch every now and then. Scarlett Johansson played the sister. A classic breakout role for her 😂
I like that the game acknowledges that it's broken by specifically saying that the quick reset feature is also meant for circumstances where the game glitches.
A game like Koei Tecmo's deception series or Trapt would work for Home alone where you set traps and avoid various enemies that have different methods to attack you, and having a small trap loadout to set up for each night you protect your home from invaders so you can't place like 100 traps ready in a level
