Welbec Hall security felt threatened by me with a camera on a public right of way.

I have never been down this footpath where Artisan is before, but as I got down it security pulled up in a van and tried to put me off coming down here. I wanted to know if it was legal to get into the village from here. I then turned back and went down the other footpath I know that cuts through the estate. I show you what I can.

Tim When you think about it it is shocking just how much of this country people can't go on If it wasn't for the roads and right of ways you wouldn't be able to go anywhere you'd be stuck where you live Thanks for sharing this

That's what they want. Fifteen minute cities. No cars, pretending it's to 'save the planet'.

Such a shame you couldn't get access Tim , it looks very interesting . Must admit I haven't heard of the Welbeck estate it looks like it would make a lovely days rambling if you could get round to see it properly . Totally agree too much of our countryside is out of bounds to us plebs! 😠 nice video 👍

Cheers Jon. We only got access to the Peak district through mass trespass.

The bricked up doorways might contain ancestral remains of the property owner Maybe Castle Farm is where disgraced members of the aristocracy or even Royal Family live so not in the public view.

It make me wonder what are they hiding on vast estates like this one with the security being so tight, it could be they don't want the public knowing the estates true history and the estates true age as all the buildings are pre reset. I will take a look at Worksop mannor house and get back to you.😊

Wow great video , @ 2.00 mins in this is where I flew the drone from , the wooden gate you zoomed in on has tunnels behind it and your also stood above south lodge tunnel at that very moment! extremely close to the collapsed section aswell

The coal theory is most certainly true , we found a large pile of by-product from coal mining (coal refuse) inside the tunnel underneath riding lodge. Looks similar to gunpowder because of its silverish sheen and small pieces

Quick question , while you were on the bridge I could hear a motor running , sounded like some type of generator or pump. That wasn’t there 3 months ago because I was up there. It would seem valid that that part of the tunnel does have water in it but I’d love to see it to know. Issue is the other side of that tunnel where it’s collapsed it’s blocked up and it’s near a house as well

I think they were spraying the crops with water, I wondered what it was to start with.

I reckon the tunnel is blocked up behind the wooden gate.

What was the significance of 1066 ? I know it was the battle of Hastings but thought that was the Magna Carta but that was signed off by King John in 1214. I think the Magna Carta guaranteed rights of the people and limitted the power of the monarch and the state .The privileged classes will do anything to protect their status including banning of photos of themselves and their property.

They keep spamming your comments. 1066 was when foreign overlords stole our land and still have it, the Magna carta was really about their relationship with the King not ours.
