Welcome to my city! Making some comments on your trip: 1. There must’ve been some misunderstanding between you and the lady selling fruits near to the train station, you went to the “biała” part of the city, which is more of an industrial one. 2. The place you thought was the old city center was in the reality just a regular place, not even the main place in biała. The center of biała was really nearby, just about 300 meters there was the city hall which is really beautiful. 3. The river you crossed multiple times is the “Białka” which splits two parts of the city (the Bielsko and Biała were separate political entities before 1960’s). 4. You got closer to the real city center at the end of the video, but as it seems you didn’t have more time :) if you’d want to get to the real city center you would’ve to go towards the big church you saw. 5. There are 3 major malls in this city, Sfera (teenage girls favourite place), Gemini Park, and Sarni Stok. Both malls you went into were in reality one, the second one was built in about 2011 I think at the place of an old factory. 6. At the end you were just at the doors of the textiles factories museum (the biggest industry of our city for a big chunk of time). 7. Reassuming, you’ve seen a good part of the Biała (excluding the city hall and our stadium) but you haven’t seen like 95% of the Bielsko, which is actually the more of the “representative part” of this city. 8. Many people visit our Beskidy mountains (you certainly could see them at some times, they were about 30 kilometers from you). I hope you’ve had a great time here! Enjoy Poland man!

Great city! I like the fact that polish residents are helping correct your use of Polish language in the comments. Such great people that seem interested in others learning their culture. If I move to Poland I am going to need all the help I can get learning the language.

You haven't seen the best of our city, the old Town Square with wonderful pubs and cafes, the mountains and nature we're famous for. You walked through the industrial area which is never pretty. Best wishes😃

That little shops were closed because of two moles you visited before. In front of the second mole is a sculpture of Bolek and Lolek- two kids from old cartoon for children and near the fountain is another one - a dog called Reksio. In Bielsko is a cartoon factory. At the opposite side of Żabka (yes it's baby frog :-)) is the best doughnuts store in whole world! You should pass the street near there and go along the Castle to go to the main squere. And you should see a view from one of the mountain around 😍 Indeed some of the buildings are very old and have a nice architecture. Because of that Bielsko is called Little Vienna. With the name of the city, you were close - Bielsko Biaua (ang.) Next town - Cieszyn (~40km form Bielsko). Very intertesting city, divided into two parts - Polish and Czech Republic's. Definitely worth seeing! Greets, bro! ;)

Oh nice, its my place of living ! Bielsko-Biała is also destination of tourists visitators but rather in winter for skiers , bc the city is located close to mountains, there are some ski slopes here.

Bielsko-Biała is a gate to the Beskid Śląski Mountains. You could have taken an aerial tramway to the Szyndzielnia mountain and there is a mountain hut that is over 100 years old.

a lot of places in Poland have this deal when you buy a coffee your breakfast is 1zl, also I am watching this and I see you going through this bridge to the not the cleanest part of my home town and I am yelling to my computer noooo! XD and this little hidden place with pierogi is the best in town so I am glad you ate there! its so crazy that someone would like to visit such a small town, if anyone is ever interested in visiting Poland they go to Warsaw or Krakow and I bet You were one of maybe 10 (English speaking)people who visit this city this year.

Don't want to spoil your trip, but you've actually missed the main square and the main streets of the city center, that's why you've struggled to find someplace to eat, all the restaurants are on Rynek Street. You just wandered some random places, but that's fine. Hope you had fun.

Bielsko-Biala is also called "little Vienna". Most of the historical buildings in the city have been done by Austrian constructors, under authority of the K. u. K. (Austrian monarchy) or at least have been modeled after Viennese buildings. Until 1951 Bielsko and Biala were two different towns.

Most Polish cities and towns have many in common - old part with market square and residential areas around, so their overall scheme is very similar. Bielsko-Biała is a bit odd because consists from two previously independent towns and has two old parts. But there are new towns which are not repete this plan. Most of them are located around big cities and they still looks like overgrown villages with no significant center. Some of them were build in communist era and consist mostly of typical multi-stories blocks. But probably the most odd town in Poland is Borne Sulinowo. It was build in 1930ties as a German Army base, then became Soviet Army base, in 1993 was converted into the normal town but still looks weird with old barracks serving now as a homes. Even a church is located in old soldier's cinema.

Luke, you haven't seen Bielsko :( mostly what you saw was poorer part of the city which is Biala. The old square of Bielsko is above the castle and is beauty renovated. Well its funny, couse Bielsko is the best city on the world and it seems you didnt like it. Dont worry though :)

You can go and chceck the museum of mining GUIDO, placed in Zabrze. Its like 20 kilometers from your place. I think this place is a "must see" when you travel through Silesia. This should be an experience like u have never seen before(and its probably the best underground museum of mining in Europe) - u will see "The true heart" of Silesia.
