The Tax is only 20% meaning, if you get payed 1000€ you only have to give 200€ to the government. You don't have to do the payment yourself, we have these people who do it for you

People like to show off eatonia as this super e-country. But to be honest as an estonian myself thats not really the case. Estonians are very close to their nateure and care about their living space. Thats why we keep our cities more or less clean. Many may not know this but 50% of estonia is made up of forest. And trust me when i say we are very protective of our forests.

Not surprised, we have all of that in Saudi Arabia. Almost everything can be done online. For example, if someone find a Crack in the asphalt, he or she can simply use an app (municipality app) and take a picture, add location and it will be fixed within 48 hrs, this is just one example of hundreds of services that are available online.

So when China is making something like that (digital systems), western media are crying for lack of privacy and dystopian world, but when a European country is doing the same, everyone is happy. In fact, I think it's great and actually, I don't believe in privacy, especially online, nowadays. Anyway, Estonia is great and it's so cool they've managed to fully recover after Soviet period. Moscow is 1100 kilometres away from Tallinn. We are in NATO and there is no need to be afraid. There is next to nothing to be gained by invading Estonia, a tiny country with barely any natural resources (I mean oil shale) that's also a protected by NATO Article 5.

You seem to be. Estonia is in NATO and Putin is hopefully not foolish enough to test NATO's resolve by invading Estonia. On the other hand, NATO would disintegrate if it were not to respond to a Russian invasion. But Putin's obedient trolls are spreading misinformation and stoking fears, that's for sure. I would recommend you come if you want to work in IT, the other replies you got about race/religion are petty. Though it will be a little bit harder if you are black or of any other non-white decent (because there simply ain't that many non-whites older people might feel weird about you in the start) or if you follow any religions. Being religious in general is a disadvantage so I hope you are not. All in all if you like to work hard and have a valuable skillset you will do well here! I recommend try to find a job with a startup!

Susssass Thanks for your reply. I am an IT expert (fullstack software developer).. I have my first degree in Physics and I also co-founded a startup company here in my country.. my coming to Estonia is to study for my masters Degree and PhD. All the negative comments I got here didn't move me.. those who don't know my history cannot define me.. I am black and I appreciate been black.
