For sure. But the sage smart grinder once you’ve timed/setup your grind time whilst dialling in, I find it’s actually pretty accurate at getting me 18gs consistently (15.6 secs for my current beans 99% of the time = 18 grams out). It’s also not recommended to single dose on the smart grinder pro due to the grind retention, but I guess you could always grind, then weigh the portafilter, but again I just don’t feel the need with the sage pro grinder. The goal in the future would be to upgrade the grinder for a higher quality single dose grinder but that’s for the future :).
My workflow is super nerdy, rdt grind shake paper filter and all that bs, and thats because I put myself up to this. Looking at your simple workflow makes me want to go back to a time where I can appreciate the simple ways of making and enjoying coffee. I know people will devalue your workflow because they are comparing theirs to yours, but remember, if you enjoy your coffee dont let other people tell you whats right and wrong.
@@Bowser558 I guess this is assuming that I don’t go through my beans quick enough, I don’t notice any change by the time I go through a bag (which doesn’t take very long in our house). So it’s still not really an issue at this point, but for sure when I get a single dose grinder in the future, my setup will change! 😃
@@antiwoosh4302 thank you, I’m all for people sharing opinions tho, I don’t mind, im still learning but for sure I understand the importance of all these little things, but just trying to have my workflow maximise quality with the least amount of steps, which I feel is what mine does at the moment. It’s also very hard to tell the difference of some of the very small changes when you put lots of milk and syrup into your coffee, im not one really to drink straight up shots of espresso!
