I like that Amy doesn't want to insult the intelligence of her viewers. I don't get all the pop culture or historical references but It is a pleasure when I do. I hate when movies or TV shows act like the viewers don't know any better.
I'm actually missing that show so badly, that I am making marathons at least once a year and watching it all over again. I'm in love with Gilmore Girls and I will be forever.
Excellent work from the writers! They made the dialogue sound SO natural and realistic. It flowed well and the pop culture references/jokes/sarcastic comments were all fantastic.
There is not ANYTHING else like this show. Before or after. Great cast, great writing. The sets let you be at home with them. Season 9 is COMING ! Thank you AMY.
When it first came out I was a teen and I never caught any of the references, just a fun show to watch. 12 years later I rewatched it as an adult and got almost all of the references, and man this show was so smart and funny!! Haha!😅
Gilmore Girls is comfort, I love Rory, been my role model, and Lorelai is hilarious as always, I love the cast so much, will be my favorite show forever 📖💓
True. We don't have anything like this right now I mean we still have great shows however most of it are overwhelmed with CGI, costumes, crime related fast paced story. With something like this with just life like materials and dialogues that are amazing, I love how raw it is is. I wish they make something like this again. Also looking forward on how the revival would drop some current reference 😊
Wish has been granted. AYITL released about 6 years ago, actually. Although, Gilmore Girls isn't forever, the memories will remain to us and we can always rewatch it any time.
I’ve rewatched this show around 5 times currently for the 6th… I just cant get over it I have all the episodes memorized and the lines it’s just such an incredible show
Great Show. Saw it originally and now watching it all over again on Netflix. The camera does love Alexis and instantly felt the resemblance to Audrey Hepburn.
A few weeks ago I didn’t have a clue Gilmore Girls existed, now I’ve seen it almost 3 times. I really am not sure I’ll ever see a series this good ever!!!! It seems like all aspects of this brilliant show has been covered SO WELL !
When Herman( Richard ) was talking about Alexis and Audry in Season three wasn't the seamstress for Emily and Richard saying how much Rory looked like Audry? xD See the reason you buy the box set (suitcase) is it has the Gilmore-ism book with the references explained . :p
Thank you so much for the videos! Gosh, I miss that show. I wish they would make a movie... We didn't get enough of Luke & Lorelai (that last season was reaaallly bad, with the Christopher thing, ugh!). They could at least try to redeem themselves? Plus, I wanted Rory with Dean.
Unfortunately smart shows don't work all the time. With cable true but with other channels it's not easy. I agree what ASP says, GG is a very intelligent, clever show, the presentation style is fresh and unique, makes the stories you have seen in every second show refreshing and new.

this show is so awesome, I love it, I hope that they make a Season 8 that would be great, and I think it would be great to see if Rory and Jess get back together, and get married, that would be awesome
Thank goodness Amy didnt eak at GG but then went on to give us The MArvelous Mrs Maisel. Now if we coud just have more of GG we would all be so much happier. We need more please ive us more.
LOVED the show HATED the ending...Because there was no ending. I made a deal w the TV network that I would watch their show for years and they couldn't respect me as a viewer to at least pay for four or five extra shows to wrap up the show with a finally. Ever show has a beginning middle and should have and end that makes sense.
I've been watching it, and while so far I don't find it to be nearly as good as Gilmore Girls, it's MILES better than what's on ABC Family. What do you think of it?
