This fixture helps to secure the end plate (red) to the beam (blue).
The round frame of the fixture is positioned on the beam using four jaws (green and purple). The jaws are controlled by the pink screw and two disk cams (orange and yellow).
The two disk cams are pivoted at the frame in the way of floating arrangement thanks to the system of two swivel nuts (jade and blue) and the screw. The screw has two threaded portions of opposite hands.
Then the end plate placed on the beige slider is forced to the beam thanks to two red nuts.
After tack welding, the fixture is removed to make room for the final welding as shown in the last scene of the video. Before that the purple jaws were taken off.
Avoid using the edges of the beams for positioning purposes as they are often deformed during transportation.
