Wen 21” Scrollsaw Review 

Thanks for the video, I couldn't find any others reviewing a 21" Wen so this was a big help for me!

Between you and Steve Good, I have pretty much decided to purchase the Wen LL2156 to replace my ten-year-old Porter Cable scroll saw which has seen better days. I am excited to get this and upgrade my scrolling experience. Thank you for your opinion. I have subscribed to your site. I look forward to your future video's. Thank you! Thanks for review, it’s literally the only one out there. Hope you do more. Now to see what others like as far as a foot pedal, stand, and light for it. Oh! Can you put a link in the description of the blades you recommend?

If you do a fair amount of Scroll Sawing you may want to consider upgrading to Pégas Chucks. It would appear that they would fit on this new WEN saw since the upper and lower arms appear to be the same design. I love using them on my Delta Scroll Saw for quicker blade changes (they also grip the blade better due to the way the tightening screw tip is designed). I also use Pégas Blades. I prefer the #5 Skip Reverse for the high quality smooth and nearly splinter free cut I get on both the top and bottom sides of the 1/4" ply wood I cut.

Have you had any issues with RPMs dropping? I can't find any info. Probably call their 800#

Is there any further adjustment than the lever if the side? Let’s say you need to tighten it up for that what the top setting gives you?

The foot guard that mine came with is a little off centerd when tightened it down. So I won't be using The foot guard. Still love this scroll saw and would not discourage anyone from purchasing it.

thank you for the review it is very helpful,. Steven Good does reviews on scroll saws on his channel and I see he used a seismigraphic app on his phone and set it on the table and it showed the vibration intensity of the saw. It would be great if you could measure the vibration of the saw or mention your experience of the smoothness of the saw at different speeds. I am wondering if this saw is worth the close to 100buck difference between it and the Porter Cable 18 inch saw which is cheaper. I like the raise the upper arm feature on the Wen and that alone may be worth the difference by that feature alone.

Are you a top or bottom feeder? Looks like top feeding might be awkward.

I'm between the wind and the DeWalt scroll saw I have a Ryobi it is horrible I had it for 15 years is about to fall apart don't even make parts for it no more

The dewalt is way better then that. And the dewalt has a kit that comes with ot to hold it up. That is under a mid scroll saw. It a pos honestly.
