When results don't meet the expectation there must be made some big changes. Watch the full episode where the Bryan Bros caddy for higher handicap players.
Played a round the other day where i skulled at least 3 over the green while trying to chip. Might have to add this to the bag, without those blow ups i wouldve had a decent round
I think practice with the wedges would be as important as this shot ....and look not everyone is talented enough hit 60 or lob wedge on 50 60 yard shots ....find an iron 6,7,8,9 even pw ...that you can take a quarter to half swing and the ball go 50 ,60 yards ....nothing wrong with running one up to the green ....but still need that paractice with the wedges in case the green is guarded by bunkers ....and thia ia my opinion from watching way too many mid handi cap ...to even low handi cap ....always grap that lob wedge and go for the "hero" or low precentage shot .....practice with purpose and find a way make it feel like pressure is on and find that 7,8,9 iron you can quarter swing and hut 50 or 60 yards and score will go down ....
I just find a consistent launch will make the shot more predictable, that slight loft to get the ball off the ground vs lofting your putter makes a difference.
Not everyone plays courses where the fairways will roll 70 yards😂 most muni dog tracks (which is what bad golfers typically play) that thing is going 20 yards.
