Love the start of "feet don't fail me now, take me to the finish line" showing her feet walking up to him the first time they meet and then following it up with her surprising him again in their last episode!!! /sobs/ SO fitting and SO emotional! Aaaww and the juxtaposition of don't think about me when I'm gone to Lilah being so happy that he called it a relationship. The GROWTH!!! You always find new ways to show that evolution!! "Is it by mistake or design" Lilah getting to see Wesley's striptease hehehe so cute! It was totes fate! I love the parallels you incorporated into this like her rejecting a guy and Wes getting rejected and Buffy emasculating Wes while Lindsey is misogynistic to Lilah! I never would have drawn that connection! You're brilliant!! Another awesome contrast you did is Wes grabbing her throat versus the way he caresses it when they're together! Genius!!! "I thought you liked the bad girls Wes" "You like your girls insane" YES!!! Freaking great lyric match!!! OMG Angel teasing Wes about his relationship with Lilah versus him apologizing for the loss!!! /crying everywhere/ Oh man and their matching wounds!!! Not just the throat scars but the abdominal wounds! I never thought of it but wow! They have so many similar scars, metaphorically and literally! God the end of the video with the "Do you really have to go?" "We both know how this song ends" "I want you to find some peace" "There is no perfect day for me Illyria. There is nothing that I want" with the lyric "You and I, we were born to die" is just...WHOA!! That was so profound and heartbreaking!! He wanted Lilah to STAY or if he couldn't have that HE WANTED HER TO REST IN PEACE, but he couldn't have either of those things, so what is left to want? It's kind of like Angel signing away the Shanshu after Cordy dies! Like what is the point in even hoping for that without her?! Gah! Beautiful job on this latest masterpiece! 🤩

💕💕💕 this makes me so happy to see another weslah video!! And it’s so beautiful, the song mashup is So Good and I think Cigarettes After Sex is THE band for Wesley/Lilah. Especially their song affection - I literally got so excited when I heard it. I know I’ve said this before but I always love how you connect them through the seasons - going through similar things.
