RON VAN CLIEF AT REHEARSAL FOR WESLEY SNIPES SPECIA L 1998 MASTERS OF THE MARTIL ARTS CITY UNIVERSITY . RON IS DEMONSTATING SEPAI FORM OF THE CHINESE GOJU SYSTEM.
I too would like a copy of this event. Had the pleasure of watching it at Kyoshi Van Clief's Spanish Harlem Apt. a couple of years ago. Haven't seen him in awhile and would like to connect again being that I am presently involved in a new Fight League and would like his input.
I saw this show when it was originally shown in 1998 and I have been trying to get a copy for years. The masters and grandmasters on the stage are phenomenal. Can you refer me to a source or is it possible to purchase a copy from you?
@Linux4UnMe also mma use kettlebells to train, more recently clubells, do you have any idea how traditional these tools are, clubells were and still are used in india today, okinawa have similar stone lever weights, the same with kettlebells, all these ideas and training methods are all just coming back into play, alot of martial arts have lost base with there roots, but the original training methods still exist, dont look at the differences, look for the similarities, theyve always been there.
como sucede regularmente algunos karatecas estadounidenses malogran los que los maestros de okinawa se tomaron la molestia de mejorar y perfeccionar por muchos años
@Linux4UnMe tma vs mma is a stupid topic, firstly mma is all traditional, boxing, wrestling, muay thai, they are as traditional as they get, muay thai is over 3000 years old, boxing is ancient, wrestling is the oldest sport in the world, if that aint traditional enough for you then i dont know what is!!! i can tell you for a fact every martial art works, if you have the right instructor/sensei/coach, mma is a great sport, then you have the martial side, theres no reason why you cant train both.
