To honor my Shidoshi, BJJ was not wide spread yet. Legends like RVC were no exposed to Royce, Rickson, and so on weren’t as proficient. If you should not, Shidoshi RVC is a BROWN BELT now under the Gracie’s in Hawaii. RVC is the real deal, I’ve felt his technique. Chi’en

mr van clief to me DEFINES respect.....no one had ever stepped up especially at that age, reading the comments i had no idea about his ankle. i just wish back then they had set up the first fight to see him against a striker.
He is doing this with A big guy,not easy.Most martial artist use little guys to make themselves look better.That shows you how humble brother Ron is and skilled.Let's not forget is age.He's the man.
People making fun of this......Dudes a legend. Movie star, fought MMA against the defending UFC champion at 51 years old and competes and wins in BJJ tournaments in his 70's.
Dee Rock He fought in the UFC when he was 51 years old. The fight was against the raining champion, Hoyce Gracie. I seriously doubt you would have done any better in his shoes.🙄
