Sorry I haven't been commenting on your past couple of videos, I'm still watching them and loving them all. This one was amazing, it brought back so many memories of when I first watched AtS and saw Wesley's evolution. Thank you for keeping the fandom alive ❤❤❤

Wow, this video is excellent! I love Wesley so much. His growth as a character is amazing and I love that you included some scenes from Buffy that show how scared and funny he was (“men in combat. Grr” 🤣). Also, I love that you included the scene at 0:09, I always smile when I see it because Gunn and Cordy are just sitting there bored and sad because they can’t find some new case, and Wesley comes up with “what I wouldn't give for a roving band of Prekian demons right now...”, this is so typical of him! Same for the scene at 1:00 when he accidentally hits someone with the dart because that woman is looking at him 😂 Seriously, Wes is a gift. He’s a sweetie. And also, so damn handsome!!😍😍😍

I really wanted to show the entire spectrum of his character in this, because Wesley really got to do it ALL: awkward, heroic, funny, tragic, sexy, gentle, aggressive, surrounded by friends, completely alone, etc etc. There is no shortage of great scenes to use because he had such an amazing arc!

Gah I'm so sorry I feel like it took me even longer than usual to comment on this awesome video!! This was sooooo good OMG!!! Your Wes videos (and Lana videos) have always been my fave thing, be it solo character vids or with their significant others or friends! They're just such underrated characters in their fandoms, but they both have an incredible evolution and are crucial to their shows respectively! This video was so badass! I love that you have such a range in your talent! You can use any type of song! 🥰 It was so cool how throughout you'd go back and forth between Wes being a nerd and not what people would think of as skilled or tough with flashes of him kicking demon ass! Aaaww "I don't sleep at all anymore" poor Wesley. I honestly don't know how he carried the stress of it all sometimes! Oh god...one of my favorite parts but obviously a very painful part was "the arms that used to hold me well now they done me harm" with the Wes/Angel element. The way you transitioned from the hug to Angel calling him a good friend to Angel trying to suffocate him.../sobbing everywhere/ that was so powerful!!! 💔 the "look at you saving my life" moments showing Wes and his friends saving each other were another fave part for me! So sweet! And Wes showing compassion for Illyria and Faith in those moments too! I really like how you compared those two scenes, because it shows what a good man Wes is. Those characters hurt him in the extreme, but he's still able to put his weapon down and show mercy. Oh and speaking of Wesley being a good guy "Wesley's a good man. He'll do the right thing" combined with "that way you don't have to torture yourself as to whether or not you did the right thing" and the way you showed all these morally grey moments where right and wrong aren't so simple but Wesley is of course STILL trying to do right even if the ends have to justify the means of it. That was brilliant!!! "As your black heels kick out the beat of my heart in perfect time" OMG love the Lilah moments there! That line is so perfect for WL! But I gotta come back to the "lalalalalalala tonight you're saving my life" moments! So many amazing choices! For some reason Wes touching Connor's face was one of my favorites! He LOVED that boy and never wanted him to suffer the way he did. He wanted to SAVE him. /weeping/ 😭 Anywho, this was gorgeous as always!! You are the best!!! 🤩
Thanks Ash, I'm glad you love my Wes vids so much because I love making them LOL. He is truly THE most underrated character in the entire Bverse. I remember us joking before that I should make a Wes/Lana crossover vid and I still don't hate that idea LOL. But yeah I actually started this vid like 3 years ago but it didn't go anywhere because I just couldn't finish anything at the time so I'm really happy I was able to pick it up again and complete it because I looove this song for him. I love that I was able to showcase everything from the early Btvs years to the later broody years with this song, like it just fits the entire spectrum of his character so well.
