I rode the Western Maryland two times. Rode coach class on June 26, 2010 and rode in the cab of steam locomotive #734 on June 22, 2013.

We have passed the old toll house back in 2013. Also our Hocking Valley Scenic Railway used to own #34's sister #33.

I wish they would fix the curve at Frostburg so 1309 can be turned around

#734 is currently out of service for an overhaul but the railroad now has #1309 they just finished work on that engine this year

734 has used several whistles Western Maryland Hancock Longbell 3 Chime Illinois Central Steamboat 3 chime (used on my June 2013 cab ride) Star Brass Desert (Chinese) 5 Chime Reading 6 Chime B&O 3 chime B&O 6 chime Nathan 6 chime Southern Pacific Nathan 6 chime
