Western States 2021 

I went out to spectate the 2021 Western States Endurance Run: One Hundred Miles in One Day. I'm new to trail ultras, and I'm definitely not a photographer, so I felt a bit out of my league the entire weekend. But the trail community is so welcoming, and this race is incredible to behold.
I could only capture so much of it, given the time that I had. I recognize that there's so many other stories that I've missed. Please don't think that I've intentionally or thoughtlessly overlooked any important narratives. Instead, know that it is my motivation to return and document it again.
