Westjet says about 130 of its 180 aircraft were left scattered around the country during the strike by its maintenance engineers. Despite a deal being reached late sunday night, crews have to be dispatched to retrieve the planes, get safety checks done, and get them back into the air. In all, almost 11-hundred flights cancelled because of the strike.
