Stellar shave Brandon, yes the Hawk V3 is very nice. I just got and used Strike Gold Swamp Fox and man it is a banger, I wish I could still do aftershaves and splashes with scents but wife allergic. Strike Gold new base is top tier I am very impressed. Have a great rest of the week brother.🤙
I just bought the same razor about a month ago and really love it. Currently I've a Feather Pro in it but Schick P-30s are in the mail from TRC. That is a nice shave with some fun gear.
Just got mine in today, and it's a smooth operator. That being said, if you haven't, try the razorock superslant. It gives me better atg passes than the v3.
Great shave as always! Ill have to keep eye out if this soap comes back in stock i missed out sounds great though. How does this razor compare to vector? Is it more mild i found vector to aggressive for my every other day shaving might of been due to technique and fact i had faulty one to though. But this has been on my radar abit cant beat its price

I recently got The RazoRock V2 razor and Schick Pro-line blades. So far im not getting a good shave out of it. Its my first razor so far I'm not feeling? Any pointers you can give me will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you so much! So it’s my first shave with the Hawk but in general I would vary your shave angle. If you feel like the shave is too close, increase the angle relative to your skin (put more of the razor cap on your face “ride the cap.” If not close enough, try lowering the angle.
@@brandonshaves TYSM for taking the time to read and reply back to me. I'm disappointed because it is so far my first razor that I was eager to try and my results were not good. I thought it was similar to The Gem Micromatic Razor that I get really BBS results with. I'll try to play with the angle more. The good thing is that its really forgiving as a razor/blade combo. I was treating it like a cartridge, maybe too much?
That is why I have this channel! 👊🏼 So with the Micromatic you basically put the cap directly on the face. The angle on tbe Hawk is definitely lower than that. Try lowering your hand angle a bit and see if that helps 👊🏼

What bourbon do you pour mostly? I’m just a beginner in trying a little bourbon and , don’t laugh, but I’m really enjoying Evan Williams Fire. Great video BTW
I would never laugh at someone’s beverage choice. I’m a big fan of Wild Turkey 101 for a daily pour. Bonus is that’s it’s quite economical and easy to find 👊🏼

Great shave! How do you manage to get your brushes to release so much lather? The more I go back and forth with a badger the more it hogs the lather. Yours looks so perfect!
Awesome! I will definitely try these steps! I use large amount of water now because of your videos. I currently use mostly synthetics or boars. Because of the hogging issues.Will definitely try doing that to my badgers. Thanks for the tips!
