when you listed the transfer partners I got the same feeling as when you hear the power ball numbers and you get none of the numbers. the further along you went the smile slowly left my face.
I would like the card for the SUB because Im stashing Flying Blue points right now for some trips in 2025. I think it will become a stronger card as the year goes along and they announce other partners. This card is an actual earner too so it has some things playing in its favor. The lack of primary auto rental coverage is kind of a bummer. The CSP beats it for that and the number of partners it has, but I think this year the CSP is going to become a weaker card as the Journey gains strength. Good video Dugroz!!
I like it. Am I blown away. no. Its basically the CSP with worse partners. I dont think I will get it, at least not now, but it is def a good card, especially like the potential of choice 1:2 if that is the case. Thanks for the thoughts Doug, I will be curious to see how many creators jump on the card.
I don't know why people assume that just because a card only has a $95 annual fee that you can't get 2X or 3X value booking indirectly with Transfer Partners. Of course you can!
Wells Fargo was most likely in the room during all of the BILT transfer partner negotiations. I’m excited to see if they offer some one time 50% transfer bonuses or something wild out of BILTS playbook
Lol. Love that your AI generator makes everything so large. The worlds largest credit card to go along w/the world’s largest football 🙂. If the x-fer partner list fills out better, a good case could definitely be made that WF trifecta > Chase trifecta (WF would actually have a true 2% catch all), but for now w/the incomplete list the edge definitely goes to Chase.
CC has to be swiped, because it doesn't fit in the reader!!!! 🤣 What is the benefit in a trifecta over a duo? Seems like no point in having the autograph if you also have the autograph journey? (did I miss something?)
@@DugrozReports I tend to agree that there really isn’t a need for both Autographs (but you’d probably get both for the SUBs at least), especially if most of your hotel and airline travel is points based, so the larger Journey multipliers on those wouldn’t matter. I’d probably go Active Cash and Journey if I needed WF travel protection & benefits or AC & Autograph if my WF setup was a “secondary” one to one that gave me those benefits.
Yep! Even if they get a few more of the "old standards" like Virgin and Air Canada at at least that would be a good step! and maybe some transfer bonuses, too!
At first glance the Autograph Journey looks enticing, and has some good opportunities for point earning. Will be interesting to see how the Card develops and what new transfer partners they add in the future. Hyatt or AA would be sweet. Great video Dugroz!
Everyone else = WF Autograph Journey is da best CC ever!!! Gonna change the game. Dugroz = Meh. This card isn't all that. Pass. 🤣🤣🤣 I'll be passing on this myself. Thanks for the info + video!
Jouurney + Autograph ... Will do very well in the Philippines and with smaller Hotel groups that allow you to visit more varied places than the big ones. I'll still use SavorOne for my groceries there, VentureOne just to transfer the points. Great set of cards to use if you're retired there.
@@DugrozReports I've made the round trip from Dulles 7 times. Emirates Dubai Singapore Air Singapore Air Cathay Pacific Hong Kong Qatar EVA & Starlux Taiwan Korean Airlines Incheon Next trip will be Turkish Airlines!
I think they did a good job and the Wells Fargo trifecta can provide great value if the transfer to Choice is 1 to 2 and if the add other transfers partners like Virgin Atlantic, Air Canada and one or two domestic carriers. Thanks for the info Doug!🫵
Thanks Cesar! I'm unsure what the trifecta would be? I thought more like a "duo" Active cash + Autograph OR A. Journey. Would there be a benefit to having both?
@@DugrozReports with the trifecta you get 5x hotels, 4x flights, 3x other travel, restaurants, gas station, streaming, phone services and 2x everything. Plus 3 intro offers.
