Banana is an all year round fruit here in the Philippines. I see them in our farm growing around on their own.

Eat FRUIT in Season (use a produce calendar for your locality) and in moderation. Use LOW fructose fruit. Fructose builds fat. Eat 2 fruit & 3 veg daily. Gundry’s 5 favourite fruit. Berries are low in fructose. Veg with seeds is a fruit eg tomatoes 1. Kiwi 2. Crisp pears (not too ripe) 3, Persimmon 4. Passion fruit 5. Pomegranate seeds

It's kinda amusing to me that in the new keto movement alot of people skip fruits entirely. And lets not forget the carnivores who skip all plant foods. While flavonoids and phenolic acids are extremely important for health. Quercetine, resveratrol and fisetin for example have senolytic properties. Builds the immune system and are anti aging. Not to mention all the vitamins and minerals. I got some health advice from a overweight work colleague once. He saw me with 2 bananas, 1 apple and some berries at lunch. Telling me how bad all the fructose would be for me. I'm 7 years older than him, but look much younger. Maintained the same weight for over 20 years. Have a 6-pack without even trying. Never been sick, not even a cold in all that time. Maybe im doing something right? The secret is you need to combine fruits with a active lifestyle full of excercise.

My 81yo mom has purchased your program 2 months ago and has lost about 8 lbs of abdominal fat, she's felling so much better and is never Hungry! So I'm giving it a try as a VEGAN. Not craving nearly as many foods at night and can feel a lot less belly buldge. Im '7 and 171 this morning. I'll take your recommendations and meld for my ethics. Cheers! EDIT: 2 weeks later 164.7 this AM!

I have practiced the Fit For Life Diet for the past 30 years which allows you to eat as much fruit as you like (but only fruit) before noon. I believe this is the reason I never get sick (not even a cold) and have stayed lean and trim all these years. I am now 66 years old and my BMI is 22.0. I recognize that I may have benefited from inadvertently practicing intermittent fasting all these years but the fructose has not seemed to have hurt me. It does seem to make it harder to remain in mild ketosis but I'm typically between 0.2 and 0.4 first thing in the morning.

Noodles made from split peas! I grind dry split peas into a fine flour. I use this to make Peadles. Iix 3/4 cup split pea flour and mix it with 1 egg and 2 tablespoons warm water. I form a dough an let it rest in the refrigerator any where from 3 to 24 hours. Then I roll my Peadle dough out into an egg noodles (sorry, Peadles). To keep the dough from sticking to your rolling pin, I coat it with a little butter! I then place them into a pot of water at a low boil and cook my Peadles for approximately 20 minutes the strain and mix with a little butter. If you live peas of split pea soup, you will love Peadles!

Maybe it is because of where I live (Los Angeles) but it's basically impossible to get local, in-season fruit. The supply chain of grocery stores just does not work that way. Even when certain fruits are in season here in California - let's say strawberries - what you find in the stores is usually grown elsewhere, especially if you try to eat organic. The only way to local, in season fruit is to go to the farmer's market but it's almost never organic.

Given that celery and lettuce digest well with fruit, whilst slowing down digestion all the while. The question is how much this is the case? Especially with coconut olive oil always on hand to help in this respect too. Helps with nutrient absorption to boot, what's not to love?...in modest quantities that is.

Many people live in places that are too cold to grow most fruits. Applesin the fall and blck berries at the end of the summer are about all I get. Antioxidents are highest in the darkest fruit and the most colorfull. What is in season for one isn't even available to others. This is certainly an unfair advantage to those who live in warmer climates like the doctor.

Summary: more fruit you eat will lead to increase in fat storage, triglycerides and cholesterol; fruit in moderation and fruit that is in season where you live; eat 1 serving fruit a day; ‘Farm Calendar’ app will advise of fruits in season in your area; will best fruits low in fructose are berries(particularly raspberries, strawberries, boysenberries and mulberries), kiwi fruit, crispy pear, passion fruit, pomegranate including seeds). Don’t eat frozen fruit out of season. Avoid sourdough bread at all costs.

Honestly I love rice, vermicelli and miso etc. The only thing is I still didn't lose weight and some parts of the diet didn't agree. I get really sick feeling from Brazil's and can't stand pistachio. Telling a frugivour species don't eat too much fruit is the definition of insanity. I am yet to see a fat fruitarian. In fact, they cannot eat enough calories to maintain their lean weight. This is most irresponsible to tell people who are already been deceived by the notion that they are omnivores lol.
