Good stuff. helped us know what not to do. I was actually just hoping that I could keep all the V4 components and just slap an EXB main/spiral/ring (so many names!lol) right on top of the V4 cup. And of course toss in the EXB input gear in to mesh with it. However... Arrma also drilled bigger holes in the EXB ring gear and slightly moved the placing of the holes. I just know somebody in Arrma marketing is laughing there way to the bank! Great VID... even though it was an epic fail. thanks for sharing it. Sub'd ya bro!!

that kit mite be for the middel diff or front.

It was said day one they are not compatible unless you completky trow a v4 diff

Rc guy garage happen to put a Mojave rear diff in and has had good luck to my knowledge so far. But not a 100% sure on that. I too would love to know a final outcome that would be as solid as the rest of the truck is. I have one on preorder/ backorder. And all this rear diff issues have me uneasy about mine. But I've already went all in with the set up I'm going with and kinda stuck so to speak?

I hope arrma deals away with the lsd mode...but the spiral cuts is a must keep..if it a broke then don't try too fix it.. talkn bout original diffs..🚑

Does anyone actually know why arrma started with the limited slip diffs for the exb models? like what were they hoping to achieve?

Those are shims diff kit for v4 i have alot of them , thats why I had send me v4 diff instead. Dude I feel like I explained this to you , lol 😆 , bc all exb stuff on bavk order horizon woukd give you what you want but parts being on back order no way to fix it properly , also the new arrma open diff is NOT going work anyways , what Jason founder arrma said was to use lsd plates in the rear diff another words change rear diff to lsd horizon will give parts but again they on bavk order so best solution was is to use v4 diff shimmed properly which looks like you have extra shimms for , or lock it like I watched you do , how thst work out ? BTW I think arrma intended it be all LSD and horizon pulled plug to save couple bucks , obviously having production problems slso bc panademic

Just go to ebay order a complete v4/v5 diff and be done with it

These 100% will not work in a exb. Completely different

So much for Arrma Tuff, lol. At least with Traxxas parts are cheaper and easy to find.
