Biggest thing that’s mind blowing and worth keeping in mind is there on a freakin street corner with basic mic’s and amps SOUNDING LIKE THAT. Just KILLING IT. No auto tune, nowhere to hide, and just KILLING IT.

Just for context. They done the 'I Shot The Sheriff' before this. That's why Ren was saying going right into War Pigs after that would be like giving someone a massage & then kicking them in the face.

What I love about this is it's in the daytime, there's no lighting, special effects etc. but it pulls you in because the band is about the music. They throw themselves into it fully and although they have a crowd and are hoping for money (girls probably don't hurt...lol.) you know they would play the same for 5 people or 5000. They just want (need) to play. The music matters.

So i actually checked out your guy's Ren library and noticed you don't have anything from the Freckled Angels album. Its 7 years old, from what i understand most of it came from his time with Sony. When things didnt work out, he was able to keep at least some of the music. I would suggest starting with "Fire" on that album. Ren can Rock :)

Romain the guitarist actually has his own RU-vid channel as well where he puts up solo work, hes incredible, some of his solos are exquisite, perfect use of his surroundings to create reverbs like Ren does

All the members of Big Push is very talented no auto tune there … they on the street corner my favorite song from them is Sweet Little Lady (live acoustic) there is two versions the acoustic live version is the best ..hopefully when Ren gets better they can reunite do some stuff together along with solo stuff

Like everyone else, I'd love to see you react to the busking of I "Shot the Sheriff/Road to Zion" & "Losing It", BUT when you want to hear Ren in another lane, my favorites are "Ocean" and "Humble". A rock rabbit hole?! I say lower him easy with Alter Bridge - Words Darker Then Their Wings live at Royal Albert Hall. This song is beyond incredible and live its unimaginably good. Id hate to see him instantly repeled by throwing some insane death metal at him for a first listen. Easy ease then throw some metallica at him. They are heavy but everyone seems to like them. For the absolute rockstar Ren, check out Sweet Little Lady, one of their original songs. If you can both the live and studio version. Can't ever decide which is better. Studio version is polished and great but the live one has some interesting differences as always with Ren~
