Eromanga’s hot fanservice-y garbage while MRIAC has a core message about the fact that your feelings will get through to someone, somehow-someway, even if you’re terrible at communicating it, and be returned in full. It’s a fluffy feel-good show about learning to have faith in the goodness of other people meant to tell recluses and shut-ins that they’re really missing out on life-enriching relationships, and that all that matters is that you take an earnest first step in reaching out to others to form them... It’s idealistic and simple, but is worth a lot more than you give it credit for.

Kaguya-sama has been one of the highlights of the season for me. Just a fun show to watch on my Saturday nights.

This was weird to watch. Seeing someone's first impressions on a season that had already finished made me realize how different shows can become by the end.

Good video if you ignore the fact that you can't really assess the quality of a 13 episode show based on half an episode (RIP Kaguya I love you)

Tbh I like your analysis videos more, but this one was fun

I gotta say, your instincts were right on Wataten. Even the next few episodes didn't do much to ease over early impressions of the protagonist. I watched the entire series and MYA-NEE gets slightly better later on, but not enough to classify a redemption or stave off the jibblies. I still liked it, but I'm also a sucker for those things and won't argue if someone says it's trash. Not every show we like has to be a 5 star meal, sometimes it's a hot dog left unattended in the break room and only you know how good it actually was.

i honestly think the promised neverland is going to be considered a classic. the anime so far is amazing and the manga is MIND BLOWING

Please give a second chance to Kemurikusa, it is one of the most charming sci fi stories i've seen in a while. Sure the CGI is very bad, but the show has an unexpectly neat directing, and the worldbuilding is a treat. Also big emotional moments that are rarelly so well executed. It's not for everyone of course, but if it's for you (and if you can stand the bad CGI) you will LOVE it.

Kemurikusa was great. Like most Tatsuki works, the beginning can be rough, same as visuals. but when it comes down to the writing and world building. There's nothing quite like his works.

For me 1. Kaguya-sama (did't even plan to watch it, right now 10/10 on my list) 2. Shield hero (Neverland objectively better but i'm isekai trash and Raph is best girl) 3. Neverland Haven't seen dororo yet btw.

Promised Neverland and Love is War were my two favourites this season. I would highly recommend both.

You forgot Boogiepop and others which is a shame because I would argue that it's the best show this season.

Alright, Explanation Point... I really like your videos but you really shat the bed on this one. At 0:55, there is what appears to be an ATTEMPT at an indefinite integral, but it is simply nonsensical. The form of an integral is the integral symbol f(x)*dx. You have the integral symbol, then d5x^5, then - x^2 + 1 then multiplied by dy/dx. What?? First of all, dx is another way of writing delta x, i.e. “a small change in x.” The way you have it is like its the integral of a small change in 5 - this makes no sense whatsoever. I presume the rest of that function is supposed to be apart of the indefinite integral, but the way its written is just plainly nonsensical so I dont really know. The worst part is how you multiplied it all by dy/dx - the derivative of y(x) with respect to x. Why are you doing this? No function In aware of has you multiply a derivative by an integral. If some sort of implicit differentiation happened here, that is plainly unclear - but Im skeptical of that after the aforementioned errors in notation. I hope you think twice about misnotatig calculus in the future.

This is a nice change of pace/addition to your content. Which I really hope you continue :) I would also recommend to keep watching Kaguya-sama because the skits only get better

Anyway, I really enjoyed this video. I would have just appreciated it coming out 6-10 weeks sooner. Especially seeing how I am like "I just started crying like a baby the other day at the Promised Neverland Season Finale so that suggestion doesn't really do much for me at the moment."

The format's fine and it's definitely fun hearing your initial thoughts on new series. I'd be lying if I said it was nearly as interesting as your more deep-dive analytical works (because holy shit you're good at those), but if this sort of thing is part of the "smaller in-between" videos you were talking about last time then I'm all for them.

Hey Explanation Point, I think this video is nice and I like the rapid fire jokes. Personally, I really like the style for your anime breakdown videos because it's very different from Mother's Basement, Super Eyepatch Wolf or anyone else who does series breakdowns, but I feel like it wasn't working for the season break down. There wasn't enough time to let the jokes sink in and it kind of makes the shows you praised sound... boring. For example, Dororo's description sounded dime a dozen show where "evil dude wants power, sells son, kid survives and does murder with discount Aladdin." It makes the show sound boring even though it isn't an incorrect description of the anime. Dororo's story is a little more complex though, the lord sold his sons to demons because his land is dying and he believes the gods had abandoned it. Hyakkimaru lives without senses (Sight, smell, touch, hearing etc.) and every one he gains back from murdering demons will bring him closer to humanity for better or worse. Personally, I love the show and that makes me very biased, but the rapid fire humorously flat jokes isn't working as well to actually make us interested in what you're recommending. It's funny for the shows that are clearly... not good to watch? but it doesn't work so much for the shows you recommend. I get that you don't want to take too long explaining the shows, but for the ones you recommend it might be worth it. To reiterate, I do like this video and I think it's well put together. I just thought I'd give my two cents, I hope this helps. :D

I appreciate you doing this, please keep doing it, there is no way for me to get an idea of all anime in a season without watching a 4 hour podcast, reading 4 hours of MAL synopsis (and getting spoiled in the process), listening to gigguk talk about each for 4 seconds, or watching 4 weeks of anime to find a show or 2 that are good. This is exactly what I've been looking for, thank you for your service you are truly a gentleman and a scholar.

I found this change of pace really fun and entertaining! I like getting your rapidfire thoughts on the season's biggest shows even if I do think you should be giving a few of them a fairer shake, so maybe try to do this more often if you liked making it! Like always it was an awesome video even though I liked the analysis videos more (sub vs. dub in heroaca, detailed explanation of a show you liked etc). Nevertheless I still love your videos with the great humor and an awesome way of just saying what you think is important. You are hilarious, awesome or whatever you wanna call ^^

Honestly, having already given all these shows the 5 minute test myself (or 1 min in some averse cases), it makes it all the more satisfying to hear all of your jokes. I'm easily getting a hearty chortle per minute of video here.

i like this kind of video, still your usual good comedy but used to summarize rather than explain, would love to see more like it in the future

I would LOVE more of this (or basically....any?) content. My main feedback/request is this: Can you include (maybe even just as an image) where exactly you found these? With streaming being so scattered it would be very helpful. Especially for those who may not have all streaming options like myself, who loses out on any Amazon item, so it would save time from searching for things we can't watch.
