Agreed. I bought a set 4 years ago. Great sound, deeper but not overly loud. The finish isn’t the same as V&H or Reinheart. But it’s close. Well worth the price.
@@davidwilley4524 Yes I am. Love the sound. Where the mufflers slip on the paint has faded. I bought the black ones. I’m going to repaint them with the high heat paint I use on my smoker.
Those are very similar to the Mutazu 4’in megaphones, that I bought off Amazon for $219.00. They sound great; loud but not obnoxious, and growls and rumbles.
Though I agree they are good slip ons for the money, you get what you pay for. If you ride a lot, they will last a couple years tops. The packing burns out, the baffles rot quickly and the finish does not hold up. If you’re a fair weather, weekend rider they’re perfect. Also, they do sound amazing for a short time. I owned a pair for my ‘17 FLHXS and recently switched out. Have a great one sir🍻
I don't agree, the big boy pipe makers are ripping you off. I've had them on my bike for two years now and they didn't rot, didn't burn out I'm not a fair-weather weekend rider, I ride to work 3-4 times a week, ride when it rains, ride when its cold, ride on touring trips, heck even ride to the Walmart to get a half-gallon of milk. The only time I won't ride is when it snows and after the roads are clear of snow because of the corrosive road salt. They look and sound as good as the overpriced ones and in a lot of cases sound even better. I've had some expensive ones on the bike that didn't sound that good. Expensive doesn't always mean you are getting the best quality, especially in the motorcycle world. I've been riding for almost 30 years and have had many experiences with different bikes and products and have seen that more than a couple of times.
I have them on my bike. They advertise they fit HD, but they also will fit other brands. I currently have a 2007 Yamaha Royal Star tour deluxe that had a pair of Rineharts on it when I bought it used a couple of years back. They were beaten up and looking tired so I replaced them with a set of used BUBS pipes, but I decided to change them out too for a different look. I bought the Sharkroad megaphones thinking they were cheap but I'll give them a try rather than dropping 600 to 800 bucks on pipes (ridiculously overpriced). To my surprise, they sound great and look great the fit and finish are impressive for the price. They were a lot louder than I had planned to go, but I'm loving them. I always get compliments on how they look and how loud and mean they sound. I'm very pleased with them, people get into the mindset that if something is expensive it is the best quality. That sometimes is not the case, quite a few products in the motorcycle world are overpriced IMO and low or average quality.
I bought the 4” chrome for my 2014 Road King after experiencing major rattles with my over priced Rineharts. I’m sure the finish isn’t going to be great but let’s not forget these are exhaust pipes it’s not like a high quality paint job. I paid $160 on Amazon for these slip on exhaust. Opposed to $800 for the Rineharts. I’ll run them as long as I can or until I finally fix my Rineharts. The Rineharts might just stay in the box if these turn out to be what the reviews are saying.
Chop I got a 2021 road king and live in Lincoln too. We should ride sometime. But anyway can you say where the parking lot is? I don't know where to go to practice and have been thinking of where would work. That looks huge. Or do you know of a similar spot in town?
