I’m 3 days sober after 17 years of daily smoking. I was sweating profusely after my morning shower. I feel fuzzy and off but I know it will be worth it at the end of this tunnel. Sober life with goals is the way
How are you holding up now ? I did the heavy edibles for over a year cut down and stopped , would like to be a weekend smoker again .. the anxiety and sleep is the worst I’m finding out
I’ve been smoking for 17 years as well… I have 5 days sober and I experienced the same thing. Actually lots of hot flashes. Also, I keep getting weird stomachaches. Strange dreams and nightmares. I’m staying strong though and really proud of myself. I lost a really good job and that shook me to want to quit!
@@ay045if you are struggling EXTREMELY hard and do not want to go back to thc, try cbd for withdrawals!! it’s a great way to get off thc without destroying your mental state and sweating CONSTANTLY!! i hope your sobriety journey goes well love!
@southsudani983 no sleep, night sweats, depression, fucked up dreams stomach pains I was a really heavy smoker and I cold turkey that mug and boy it's kicking my ass. I kicked alcohol first and used weed to get me through my first year of sober from alcohol. Now weed it's your turn nicotine your next up but not yet haha
@@rolltide-xz4fhhopefully there won’t be a next time, but if you fast for 48hrs you won’t get any THC withdrawals, just mild insomnia but that will go away quickly if you can push the fasting an extra day or two.
I'm facing the same thing i've been smoking for 2 years and im 20 and i can feel the appetite loss. At first thought it was a good thing cause i was overweight but now im seeing it as it truely is cause i can't seem to find my self wanting to eat anything.
Been smoking for 4 years 20 years old rn. Weed was the best and worst thing in my life. It made me feel good but only while I was high. When the high wears off and ur left back with the issues u once had just to light up and mask the same problems you once had. Weed will kill ur motivation and make u ok with being a loser.
When I smoke weed I feel stronger, and then I stopped smoking for 2 days after 4+ years of smoking daily and the cold shower fucked me up... I usually handle it so well but yesterday I got shocked from the cold 😂
Every time i’ve quit cannabis, I’ve gotten severely sick. No appetite, no sleep, overheating, sweating profusely, night terrors, cold sweats. Maybe some people the withdrawals aren’t as bad, but for me its grueling man… so anyone whos struggling please stay the course its gonna get worse before it gets better listen to your soul when its telling you to stay away from it for good!
I needed to hear this, thank you. I am a couple of days into my first tolerance break in over 5 years after smoking all day every day... I have all the same symptoms you described. I have been sweating all day, throwing up, can't eat and am running on maybe 3 hours of sleep from the past two days... This shit is harder than I expected, and way harder than people seem to think.
@@nuhvaa4280its been about a month since you left this comment. Tell me if your symptoms are still there if they're fully gone. I'm about a week into sobriety from heavy daily usage of those weed carts. I don't have night terrors but i basically have everything else. tough af
@@allstarlord9110 no I didn't... I don't know what point you're trying to make with this? Everyone reacts differently, just because you don't have these symptoms doesn't mean that I don't too. I was taking dabs constantly all day every day, smoking joints whenever I was outside, popping edibles like nobodies business. Literally 24/7 high. It was a very dramatic change for my body to suddenly go cold turkey, of course I reacted so poorly. I got over it after about a week and a half, and I've been fine since. Like I said, everyone is different man.
I just recently stopped smoking. I was a heavy user from 16-30 and smoke concentrates only for many of those years. My withdrawal symptoms have really shown themselves with my lack of appetite and my terrible sleep. I have never had more vivid nightmares in my life. I never knew quitting would be like this
I've been a heavy daily smoker from 18-24, couple weeks in and I've been so restless, my appetites gone. Anxiety's not really here but the sleep quality is awful, and the dreams are just straight up weird. Not nightmares but just weird. Can't imagine what meth/heroin withdrawals are like.
Ive been smoking b0ng daily for about 2 years and i stopped 4 days ago and i cant sleep i feel super nauseous and i have terrible headaches, i also have super weird nightmares where i just wake up at 5am completely sweaty and then i cant go to sleep again
This cured my anxiety in like 2 seconds. I think it should be more talked about and known that it’s not life threating, you hear tons of stories of people dying from alcohol withdrawal so it tends to scare people I think, I’ve gone cold turkey now for 4 days and I feel great, the withdrawal aren’t fun but they are doable, I don’t have a crazy support system or medications or anything like that either it’s just me and my brain going through it. If you’re looking to quit I recommend listening to as much of this content as possible to convince yourself it’s garbage for you.
Withdrawal from almost everything does not kill you. Alcohol withdrawal however, can indeed kill you. As can Benzodiazepine withdrawal. Really the only main ones that kill you. I think there are a few niche pharmaceuticals where withdrawal can kill you aswell. Heroin withdrawal wont kill you but itll make you wish you were dead.
Did this method worked for you? I tried cold turkey and it was horrible, couldn't make it. Normally I smoked about 4 large joints during the day. I was thinking maybe smoking at least 1 small joint in the evening for some time would help.
Marijuana withdrawal is something very neglected when it comes to the research. Everyone’s body will react different I have quit smoking marijuana 3 times in my life an all 3 times I got severely sick the last time was in the beginning of this year I needed up in the emergency room 4 different times I could not eat I lost an immense amount of wieght I had horrible abdominal pain I was given morphine at the hospital every time an it was like that the 2 times prior as well , the doctors diagnosed me with a cannabis disorder of some sort an said that it’s due to how dependent my mind and body was on it this guy in the video is making it seem like it’s just going to take a walk in the park an some self care to quit maybe for some people who aren’t really that addicted to it but for others like myself it’s like dying an then slowly getting your life back but yeah very uneducated on the topic . I started at a very young age to abuse of marijuana maybe around 12 an it intrests me on why my body reacts the way it does to it maybe some addictive characteristics I have wired in my brain or who knows but I have tried other drugs an I had never had any issue other than with weed there is still slot to be researched when it comes to addictions to marijuana an withdrawals

Extreme night sweats, bad weird dreams, gut problems & massive headaches every night, week 2 of detoxing after 12 yrs of constant weed smoking ! Im gonna get there tho 💪🙏🏻
If you are depressed, exercising is nigh on impossible. As much as I want to get out and walk it's difficult to push myself to do it. I only smoked it for 37 years. Panic attacks are regular.
3 days sober off weed started new years. Haven’t eaten in 12 hours and looked at my burrito and threw up the little bit of soda I was drinking. I have two jobs and when I get off I still can’t sleep I feel like a hangover in my stomach when you know you will puke soon. A blinker sounds nice rn
Smoked an average of 15g a month for the last 4 years, clean for 30 days today as i was experiencing anxiety and depression as a result of weed. The effects so far - feeling more positive and motivated, good REM sleep but the dreams are very vivid, appetite is normal but experiencing sweats and some boredom without weed, started an exercise regime, hardest time to not think about it is on the weekend, but keeping focused, my next target is 60 days clean.
so glad I quit. I ended up getting a bad sinus infection and once that was done with and the cough was gone now my rib is messed up. Glad I gave weed up never again and I have almost two weeks clean. The weekends are the hardest. Shrooms make me way crazy and I'm already crazy so I stayed away from them now I just have to deal with this bruised rib and I've been so depressed.
Oh my gosh this is so good to know. Smoking 7grams a day and quitting abruptly was a completely bad idea I was under the impression my family has been poisoning me and trying to harm me. All the while feeling very sick, very sweaty, hurting stomach. Then I finally realized I was in denial about the weed. I’m hoping that’s what is going on with me. Day 4 now, sucks
Hes making it sound like its no a big deal. Dont fall for it people! Just like I fell for the “you get addicted to weed” lie years ago until i became addicted. Ive heard of people who were able to let go of alcohol and cigarettes addiction but always relapse on weed. Sure, it’s different kind of addiction, its natures way of addiction. Rather than the zombie type of addiction caused by man made drugs or alcohol. But natures way is very mind- fu.king and hard to break up with
25 years as an hourly smoker. Really struggling to stop. I can make it about 15 hours and withdrawl hits hard. Cigs were easier to stop for me. Kicked them last yeat after 25 years too
Can’t speak for everyone else but I smoked heavy for 13 years. I got my appetite within the first two days of and I’m sleeping fine….However I’m extremely bored without it!
Dude it’s crazy this comment is only three days old. Bro we are in the same boat. I have a double ear infection and on top of that I quit weed. Hot flashes, your body will go cold then hot then cold again, the anxiety is horrible, I’ve become aware of my heartbeat and i constantly think I’m dying. I have to basically knock myself out to sleep. I’m on day 3 now. I went to my family’s house to heal my ears and intentionally left my pens at home. But I hope it’s worth it for me my mind is everywhere bro
@jdawg691 we in the same boat baby, I feel like my world is crumbling in, I feel my heart like a bass drumb, I can't eat but I'm craving something I don't know what but I'm hungry for it 😅. We got this buddy, it will be 1 year before we know it
I started 6 months ago , not smoking but edibles and have stopped for 10-12 days between those 6 months for 3-4 times ... but I always come back .. now I wish to not do it before I turn 20 ( after 15 months ) so that I can make my tolerance go back to almost zero and also I wish to do it in a very controlled way ( like once a month or so ) but here is to those who are suffering from withdrawls - coffee helps - just keep yourself busy drink water and go washroom every hour
Anyone else get severe cramping and muscle spasm when they quit. I'm quitting again and the cramps usually send me back. They are terribly painful and I always worry my heart will spasm next
Yes dude! My heart would beat super fast. I couldn’t breathe sometimes. The left side of my upper neck up to my earlobe and head would spasm. These withdrawals are no Joke.
You know, taking warm showers for a long time really helps with the withdrawals, for me at least. Similarly what you would do if you had CHS Cannabinoid hyperemesis syndrome
The hot shower isn’t helping as much today 😩😩😩 I threw up the fruit I ate and I can’t eat well without the stomach pains coming every single time 💔 I also went thru chs ab a year ago
I was smoking everyday for 2 years and completely forgot I had anxiety. I stopped suddenly bc I wanted to focus on learning to drive and DEAR GOD I FEEL LIKE IM DYING AND EVERY DAY IS A FIGHT FOR MY LIFE.
Nearly 20 years of daily use. Concentrates, flower, edibles. After a week I still have not experienced a single withdraw symptom. Why? Because it is the habit/motion that’s addictive to those with addictive personalities. Compare it to a drug like caffeine that is far more addictive than THC and much worse for your over health than THC. Do they have rehab centers for caffeine addiction? Having rehab centers for THC ( with extremely low addictive rates) is a complete joke and nothing more than a scam to receive insurance money.
I swear man people here are acting like they are withdrawing from heroin, and then say ohhh my body is different. Are they alien or something cause it doesn’t make sense.
I’ll never find a good therapist. The ones that I find are retrogressive. I regress instead of moving forward. At some point they gave me SSRIs, not the best medication it worsened my anxiety.
Best advice I can give anyone going through any type of withdrawal (especially THC) is to cut it off cold turkey along with atleast a 48hr fast, I promise you that you that you will be barely feel it, the only thing you might struggle with is sleep on the first 2 nights. Good luck y’all ✌️
@@prackprackprack4169 prolonged fast after 24hrs reset your dopamine and serotonin receptors and increase production the longer you fast, it just makes the withdrawals symptoms a lot easier to deal with, especially the fatigue and irritability.
Look, I've gone cold turkey and involuntarily fasted because I couldn't eat and day four I'm still having terrible withdraw. I think everyone goes thru it differently
I smoke more than a ounce of weed and I’m trying to stop smoking because I no longer get high it’s been 2 days and the withdrawals is a bitch I can’t sleep at all the cold sweats the list goes on I’m bout ready to give up 🤦🏽♀️😩
Stay strong, You got this. Im 3 days cold turkey right now and my anxiety has been hell and sleep is brutally messed up atm. Goodluck , You arent alone.
Does someone know of any site with Dr's thst can prescribe a synthetic thc like medication as nabilon or something else like that? I been smoking for more than 20 years and now thst i work 12hour work shifts that i can smoke weed while i work it would really help me out. If anybody has any tips i would appreciate it greatly
I was wondering does anyone know, how to deal with the symptoms at work ? I want to be able to but I can only last a few hours without smoking, I also can not eat without it and get nauseous from the thought of food without it. What do I do to handle a 8 hr shift ?!?
Awe yeah no if I was able to do that I for sure would. Sadly work places don’t understand that while working some deal with extreme anxiety and need it to calm down and do their work.
SATAN SAYZZZZZZ..."What ever you do...don't mention Jesus' name. You people just keep on trying to heal yourselves. In doing that you will always be mine." Just making my rounds. Christ's Pastor
What’s missed out is the withdrawal here is that you can’t eat drink or exercise when you’re sat there dying for a smoke the brain just doesn’t work like that you’ve gotta program you’re brain and say you don’t need it today then the next day and so on then sooner or later you will get the alive feeling again and it makes you not wanna look back unless you relapse thinking one won’t hurt then it turns into another and on n on
NA. NA = Narcotics Anonymously & everything else that was said in this video. If are you having an alcohol problem too, AA would be the ticket to get yourself on a healthy minded track.
