The story of the Beatles is incredible and their music as a whole has never been beaten. I saw them perform in 1963 at The Capital Theatre, Cardiff. This is the first time listening to The Analogous and I think they are very good.
Saw them last night for the second time at London Palladium. They were everything.. Magnificent,fantastic, fabulous,outstanding, professional,wonderful,emotional..Without a doubt,if you love the Beatles music,then these outstanding accomplished musicians are the best there is. Sure hope they come back to our shores again next year.
Sixty years next year since The Beatles came to Australia. I know it's a bloody long way but bring The Analogues down so we can re-live the experience! These boys are the real thing in almost every way. Astonishing!
Totally new level! I could not even imagine the possibility of such devotion and commitment to the music of my favourite band! I’m glad that most of people understand that this group is not just a cover band! They bring Beatles music to the new generation and make the world the better place! Bravo!!!
As a Beatles fan since the mid sixties i am deeply impressed by the way you guys are enacting those fab post touring lps. I'll make sure i don't miss you next time you come to France.
One thing in my life that has always remained constant... and that is that no matter what the "art," true TALENT could always stop me in my tracks to absorb what the musician... sports player, singer, etc., was giving to us ...to me that gave value to this Life. To that end then, this group ...The Analogues show off that "art" in every note, lyric, and expression of emulation of one of the all-time creators of Pop Music... The Beatles. Done flawlessly, and with such engaging devotion to the craft, each and every song, played on exact (time-stamped) instruments transports many of us to a time that many hold almost sacred. After reviewing almost all of the material that is available, I was amazed that this group of DUTCH performers were performing every single song with near-perfect replication! I was likewise crestfallen to see that all (foreseeable) performances were throughout Europe, with none slated for the US! Come on, Analogues... like the Beatles, it's time for you to appear, if not on The Ed Sullivan Show, then at LEAST in Tampa, Florida -we promise to keep the weather warm, the beaches cool, and the drinks flowing forever!*
I am forced to ask what Paul and Ringo have to say about this level of authenticity. I am not a betting man, but I would put up real money that they get a a tear in the eye.
1st lp. 3rd grade. Let it Be. Mom took me to Sesrs & Roebuck. I still have it., plus 2 more lps ovr time and 2 cds, plus emblazoned upon my brain and every body fiber.
Being 72 now i know why they sound exxactly like the Beatles....there's using the same equipment Some days I'll listen to 3 albums in a row. just close your eyes
The Beatles and George Martin did not perform these albums live because the technology to bring an entire recording studio's bag of tricks on the road did not exist. The Beatles said so, "We stopped touring because we cannot give a live performance on stage because it is impossible." The Analogues are not magic.....they just look that way to the uninitiated. If you look closely at any modern rock concert you will see, about 30 or 40 feet back from the stage a tent, right in the middle. That is where all the magic happens. It contains all the mixing boards, voice-correction etc. and other equipment necessary to reproduce what was done in the studio. The Analogues sound engineers ate in the wings or backstage I suspect. That's how they get the voices to sound like John, Paul. George and Ringo. I have to admit, it is a technological marvel, and as someone who saw the Beatles live three times when I was a teenager, and personally, and informally met Paul and John, the whole show brings tears to my eyes. It is absolutely brilliant.
@@baritonfelix Thanks baritonfelix but this does not make sense to me. The purpose of a tour is also to promote the latest album. Zero song off it, well... There obviously was something else more solid. But thanks anyway.
@@baritonfelix I appreciate your efforts but you know it’s neither the crowds nor the artist(s) that define what’s performed on stage, why and when. Nothing is impulsive. «They were tired» is also irrelevant, someone does not get more tired by singing song A than by singing song B. And tired… exactly of what? Because that would be the point. Did not they become less tired after a while and… ? «The Beatles’ tours were different»: same, the question is why. Again the fact of the matter is that no Revolver song ever was played live by te Beatles.
It's obviously a good work and many people really appreciate it. May they'll be happy watching the show. But, as an orthodoxe Beatles fan I can't stand it. I appreciate good covers as Ray Charles, Joe Cocker, Souxie and the Banshes or Earth Wind and Fire. But copies called tribute band, no. I do prefer stay home and listen to the real stuff. On the other hand, If you don't like it don't bother others.
