There's an interesting nugget with the idea that the author of Revelation, who was writing a text projecting the violent overthrow of the Roman powers by a returning Jesus, coopting Roman military imagery in his text. This makes sense in light of the first century CE context under which the text was written and audience for which it was written. The contortions necessary to make Revelation a futurist text are a source of a lot of confusion modern readers have when approaching the text. Bart Ehrman's Armageddon has some fantastic information on the history, authorial intention, and intended audience interpretation of the Book of Revelation.

The combination of Given Name, Seal, Family Name and Nickname (3 written names and a seal) also match the very prevalent, group of 4 with 3 alike and 1 outlier, found throughout the book of Revelation i.e. 1 dragon and 3 beasts, the dragon and 2 beast all have 7 heads and 10 horns and then one outlier beast that only has 2 horns like a lamb. etc. etc.
