I’m thinking that the spirit of the Lord is the number one spirit. Because with out this first one, it is impossible to have the rest Fully and perfectly.
There are not 7 traits in Isaiah 11:2. It is the Spirit of the LORD resting upon the Branch - which 'resting upon' will produce the effects outlined in that verse.
Actually Isaiah 11 is referencing Jesus but that is not what the 7 spirits in revelation are and Jesus had many more then the 6 not 7 traits that he spoke concerning the messiah. There are only 6 traits listed as the spirit of the Lord is not one but the Spirit itself. People just use this passage of scripture to try and explain what the 7 spirits of God are but they are incorrect. The seven spirits of God are the seven angels over the seven churches and that stand before God’s throne and are handed 7 trumpets. There is only one Holy Spirit and Isaiah 11 is not the seven spirits of God mentioned in Revelation. Remember angels are called ministering spirits sent by God. In Revelation 1-3 we see the seven spirits of God or seven angels that Jesus has in His hand and sends to the seven churches. Jesus when addressing each of the seven churches even speaks to each of the seven spirits sent by God by saying, "to the angel of the church of" etc. Jesus speaks to each of the seven angels when addressing each of the 7 churches in Asia minor. Then in Revelation chapter 4 John is caught up into heaven and he sees the same seven angels (spirits) at the throne of God. Seven Spirits of God are the eyes of the Lord. Zechariah 4:10 KJVS For who hath despised the day of small things? for they shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel with those seven; they are the eyes of the Lord, which run to and fro through the whole earth.
The 7 make up one so THE RUACH HAKODESH is those 7 in itself so when you have Gods spirit you will have maybe wisdom or understanding or maybe you will have all or maybe you will have being able to counsel, or of might, or knowledge and or of fear... you may have one guift one of these spirits these 7 make up that whole Ruach HaKodesh.
Just a thought when John wrote this ". 4 John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace be unto you, and peace, from him which is, and which was, and which is to come; and from the seven Spirits which are before his throne; 5 And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood, 6 And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen. " I get the feeling that this is more than the spirit of wisdom/knowledge ect.... but rather seven entities/ beings..... " this is from.....", and.... " and from the seven spirits which are before his throne "..... just makes me wonder and ask the Father what this means. Incidentally the thought came to me that there are 7 continents........
Each spirit is named by the start saying the spirit. Isaiah only states 3 spirits. 1. The spirit of wisdom and understanding 2. The spirit of counsel and might 3. The spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord. The others that I found are, the word, the holy spirit, the father I will say the last is the son. The father being the God head. All being God. The word of implies God is the name of this group of spirits. Bowls of fire that represent the seven spirits of God. In revelation. (Paraphrasing) I have wondered this too. No mention of the trinity theory only the 7 spirits of God. There is a functioning government in heaven. The Bible gives you a view of the government in heaven. As on earth as it is in heaven. We must live on earth as we are in heaven. The other thing I noticed in the Bible is there is a lot of math. Weights and balances.

Spirit of Truth, Spirit of Excellence, Spirit of Wisdom etc..are the other names of the Holy Spirit just like Jehovah God has Jehovah Nissi, Jehovah Rapha etc and Jesus has Emmanuel, Prince of Peace, Rose of Sharon etc. Same God..different attributes of His Name..!
I have this question as well. There is more inference than contextual relationship between Isaiah 11 and Revelation. And the text of Is 11 infers 4 spirits: 1 of God, and 3 more with 2 qualities each. The grammar suggests that.

You cannot include the spirit of the Lord as one of them. The reference is of a sevenfold spirit, therefore 7 spirits make up one spirit of the Lord. It's like saying there are 7 colours in the rainbow and counting the rainbow itself as one of the colours. Doesn't work mate.
Messianic and anointed should not be equated as the same / First time ever hearing David referred to as a Messia / which would mean David had the ability to heal and put anything back into it's original intended state While their is no evidence of such things is WRONG
The seven candlesticks are the seven congregations, not the seven spirits. The seven spirits of God in revelation are seven torches in front of the Throne of God. As the message goes on youtube it is missleading people to believe that is something to come on christians in the lst days. We chrisians have been baptized with the Holy Spirit so that God himself lives in us. That has happened already, on pentecostal.
Pray to Jesus Christ and seek his understanding but for short a spirit is the inner being of our essence and thee almighty spirit the Spirit from which all things were created is the essence of our world universe our life our reality and all and that spirit the Holy Spirit has no beginning nor no end our spirit of understanding what a eternal spirit is has limations on it as we are in our physical body’s and have yet to left out of our flesh body but even when we do we will only know what we will experience in the life after death place that we are sent to accordingly to our Faith or no faith in Jesus Christ so do me a favor and look up John 3:16 and then go find a Christian church and tell them you would like to no more about the verse John 3:16 there for I can see you one day in Heaven where we know as much as we need to know for our Lord and savior Jesus Christ will be there also as his spirit also resides in us here on earth with them who believes he died on the cross for our sins who believe he rosed on the third day for the redemption of all who will have salvation through faith in him who rose on the third day seek that kingdom of God Heaven after believing in Christ and seek God for your purpose in life and have faith God the Father the Son and the Holy Spirit will align God will in your life now May God bless you and all who read this in Jesus name Amen

Second Temple Judaism writings all make mention of the seven spirits of God as the seven Arc Angels that stand before Gods throne and in the Orthodox, Catholic, Ethiopian Jew and Ethiopian Christian and the Coptic Christian Old Testament has a book called Tobit, in the book of Tobit one of the 7 Arc Angels comes to help him and says that he is one of the 7 who is before Gods throne. When John wrote about the seven spirits, every Jewish person reading Revelation would know immediately that he was referring to the 7 arc angels.
If you have the Holy Spirit then you automatically have the six other spirits of God. We need the seven spirits to perform correctly for God in work and in sex, Zechariah 4. Verse 6: Not by might [the abomination of desolation spirit] nor by power [lust] but by my [holy] spirit says the Lord. Not what by might and power? No union of male and female, husband and wife, by any method except the Holy Spirit. Most couples do not fully appreciate that love is the Holy Spirit between them. They should not put each other on a pedestal but the Holy Spirit on a pedestal, so that it reigns in work and in sex with seven spirits, six spirits of work and six sexual spirits, with the Holy Spirit sovereign. What is a spirit? It is the manner in which you do what you do. Hebrews 4:12: the Holy Spirit is the most precise spirit of all spirits. High precision is exact timing and/or placement. David is an example of high precision at work. We can say that precision is the outworking of the high intelligence of God. Consider also the two cherubim on the ark of the covenant.
