I was molested by my foster dad, he didn't goto church, he drank, he smoked, so your comment is a bit voided, he would molest me when my foster mom was at work, I still remember the last time he did it to, it was during a Broncos vs raiders game, and for every time the broncos scored, he would drink a beer, he got so plastered, he thought my foster mom was at work, eventually he came upstairs and started to hurt me and I screamed to the top of my lungs for my foster mom, you want to know the worst parts of it all? Well, they had a daughter before they became foster parents, he hurt her to, and that last day they had me, he told the police officers that the reason he did it was he thought I enjoyed, one of the police officers pulled me aside and asked me that very question, what kind of police officer would ask a child that, but even through all that, not everyone is a child molester, there are people who genuinely care for kids, I know I need to be careful around kids, I wouldn't want anyone thinking this about me, because I know how much it hurts a person, I've had it happen to me, I've seen too many people who have had it happen to them, how much it changed our lives, keep in mind, for those who have been molested, you may be the victim, but in the end, you get looked at like it was your fault because of it, I got that look all the time, even through I did nothing wrong, thank God I haven't had that for a long time now, people would tell me, usually when you are molested, you turn out that way, not in all cases I say, alike I said, I see how much it changes people, how much it hurts them, plus I would love to have my own kids someday, whether adopted or with my future wife, well see how that goes, but as a wise man once said, its hard enough having kids, but how can you argue with the fact of loving one that's already here, I also believe in God, despite everything that has happened through out my life, no, I'm not a church goer anymore, so again, your comment is that much more voided, does this mean I'm a good person? You may ask, no I'm not a good person, no where near, but I'll be damned if I even think to hurt anyone, now, does this mean you're totally wrong? No it doesn't, there is hurtful people on all sides, even if they don't drink or even goto church, let it also be know, if you take all the child molesters out, more will come, you take them out, more will come, not to mention, there is a group out there that is trying to legalize it, called heart progress I believe the name is, not to mention, if you did go after child molesters, you gotta make sure they are a fault or guilty, hate to break of any of you, but not everyone who was been commuted of this crime, to actually be guilty, so if you take the person out not knowing, you may have just token out a innocent person, but here's an idea, instead of harming them, which will ultimately put you in their shoes, try getting the person same help, make sure there are no kids around them, instead of hurting them, which can land you in a heap of trouble, call someone to remove them, and also, take away their capability of reproducing, so that they don't end up having their own kids, this is just a thought, even so, more will come, some of them may something severally wrong with them, maybe even some sort of surgery may be the way to go, anyways, sorry for this long comment, God bless.
Ok, I typed the word "sometimes" for a reason. I typed this comment because my dad drinks and smokes but really does try to be a kind and loving father. My mom left us when I was 2 so my dad has to (and still does) care for me.

Most child predators make sure that their outer image is impeccable, and they appear perfect to the world. It makes it easy for them to discredit any victim who decides to speak out about their abuse. Next time, you should tell your stepfather that if he continues to touch you inappropriately, you will tell someone on the outside of his social circle - like a teacher or a counselor. I strongly encourage you to tell someone you trust, outside of your family, about this. You do not deserve to be abused in any way by this man. First, you can try to talk your mom again, but this time, advise her that if she doesn't do anything about your stepfather's behavior, you will report him to the authorities. I know this is a difficult process. I don't personally know you, but you can count on my support. Take care of yourself and be strong.
At 8 yrs of age,I was touched inappropriately by a relative of mine. Though I knew nothing about sexuality then, I had the gut feeling that what was happening was not okay.I told my mom and she told that I should keep this a secret from everybody ..even from my father and I did! She seemed to value the relationship with her relative more than me! Then I told one of my friends and then she told that I might get pregnant by that touch!! My world was completely broken hearing that! And I believed that my mom is not there for me even in my worst of conditions! I had and still have a lot of anger towards my mother regarding this issue.I felt so worthless more due to my mom's actions than his.

I can't believe how some parents let their small children roam around in stores and even go to the restroom by themselves! I keep an eye on things like this to make sure they are safe! It only takes a second or 2 for your child to be gone or molested!
It made me shy away from virtually every child I wasn't related to or knew the parents well. When I was in church, I always made sure that there was another adult nearby to hear and see what was going on. ( I never went into any room alone with a child. I either waited outside, had someone to keep tabs, or had more than 1 additional child with me ( 3 total). It was a safeguard that prevented me from having to deal with skeptical parents.

Yeah and I am a 15 year old(probably one of the least trustable age ) and my big cousin trusts me to babysit her 6 year old niece and 2 year old nephew.
My now adult son has multiple disabilities, he couldn't speak very much when he was little. I had a former Lutheran Priest who took a special interest in my son, after my husband left us. At first, I felt that it was completely harmless, but one day I just had a feeling, I did not stick around long enough in that Church for a few reasons, but that day, that I had that feeling, was the last time I allowed my son around that man alone. I am a severe abuse survivor. I didn't want to project this onto this man, but regardless, I was not taking any chances, these predators are EVERYWHERE, and years later I heard others who also felt weird around this priest with their children as well. MANY men prey on single mothers with children. My son's inability to communicate made him a very easy target whether anything happened or not was not important. I felt "better safe than sorry" was the best mind set to implement.

This is why even though my son is non verbal and could benefit from therapies at special ed preschools or daycare I refuse to send him. He wouldn't even be able to begin to tell me if something had happened to him. I just do my best to teach him on my own. I know that children with disabilities are something like 3x more likely to be abused than non-disabled children and this just breaks my heart.
Dude we need to speak up about the women who do this though because they’re out there and way more of them than people realized. I was a victim of two different female predators, one when I was 4 she was my babysitter. Would rub me down there and have me do the same and the second was my own mother’s best friend who slept with me from 15-17 warping my mind on how I viewed women and sex. I was almost a nympho for years thanks to this abuse, it might sound like a joke but it’s not. I had a woman who tried to grroom my toddler. Dont trust women either. I dont know if she was trying to do it gor her or her husband. They were both in their 60s. She asked to watch my kid unattended. I told her fuck no and blocked her number. Horrible trash these ppl are. She was really nice and used her grandkid to get close to my daughter then got mad when i told her i dont leave my daughter alone without a family member present. They have zero interest in the parent is what i noticed

I was having problems being mentally and emotionally abused by a full-grown father and his son I was fooled because when the little boy, his son was small, he seems a very nice and very wise when he grew up it was different and he started telling me I had too many rocks in my yard he was going to take some he only threatened me three times and then kept acting horrible for years I had no proof I just found out today from a sweet little girl she's now not so little she's going to have a baby that he's a pedophile and that she was bothered by him when she was a child that's the son of the father that has been abusing me am no one seems to have any support groups for me to go to and I always have to worry if I go out the door if they're going to get in and they have they kept hanging around in my attic I'm a senior but I'm very alert smart thinker but I'm really tired of this the other two threats were that he was going to steal my identity and use fear and control over me the very last threat I had decided to go to a hotel to get away from his negative energy is there any kind of support I can get?
there a man like that in my church in his 40s, on our first date he spent 70% of the time talking about young men he mentors. As time went on, my gut instinct told me he was grooming these young men for sexual encounters. There was zero emotional connection between us. Paedophiles are very very calculated, he caught on that i knew his secret. He quickly ended our relationship, hes now travelled to africa for wife.
When I was in grade school in the 1980s we were taught - as children - to watch out for these exact same behaviors in the adults around us. I just hope kids are still taught this in their schools.
I graduated high school, class of 2020 for reference. I was personally never taught this in elementary or middle school... strangers were the only danger. I wish that that were true. Coaches. Priests. Scout leaders. Youth pastors. Teachers. Step-fathers or boyfriends who prey on divorced or single mothers. I will add, older cousins, older brothers and sisters. Older friends even. Babysitters and day care providers are suspect as well. The thing is, until your child can speak, they are the most vulnerable. After they can speak, you still need to watch them like a hawk and limit who can and cannot be around them unsupervised. I know this sounds completely paranoid but, as a parent, you should be. I know also, that a lot of people are forced to rely on and trust different providers for their kids because they have to work. I would seriously recommend moving to a place that you can afford more, be it a town or house or apartment, that would enable you to raise your children and still pay your rent. Also, if you are lucky enough to have both parents available and even further, lucky enough to jockey your shifts where one person is home while the other is at work and vice-versa, you should do it. Child molestation is a crime of opportunity driven by perversion. You are a parent now. Your life is changed forever. You have a job to do. It’s not about you anymore.

Yes Its like there seems like there are no warning signs but do you know why? Because it was always taboo to talk about it. People would never dare to report it in years gone by. My gut instinct kicked in numerous times when I was a little girl(7-10). My headteacher watched me change for PE and swimming , offered to help me on several occasions and led me to his office for a sticker when he could have and should have given it to me in the classroom... my teacher didn't say anything so he took me. Sooo glad I listened to myself because I felt uncomfortable and scared to be alone with him . I told him I needed to get back to class after what felt like an endless endurance of standing in front of him with his gaze fixed on me, smiling a creepy and almost sinister smile. Well, he was charged years later of child abuse! 17 years too late but nevertheless... justice has been sought(I think and hope). Edit: he is in prison now!

Strangers abusing children is relatively rare in comparison. Similarly the people you lock yourself in your home with at night are the ones who are statistically more likely to harm you. I day this as a,child protection social worker of over 20 years.
This is my greatest fear as a parent. My rule of thumb is I treat every male around my daughter as a potential “bad guy”. Which means I never leave her alone with a man (family or otherwise) and I scrutinize every male that is close to us. I’m sure most of them would never hurt her but I don’t want to give anyone the opportunity to ruin her for the rest of her life.

I am thankful for the many resources online to help me spot the warning signs! I suspected the intent of a former boyfriend I was dating when he seemed too interested in being with my child without me present. Also he seemed divisive in his way of communicating, as if I didn't care for her. I thought this was especially a red flag. The final straw was when he watched Leon the Professional with her without me. She is 11! Oh and he was suggesting sleepovers! He is a pillar of the community type.
@@noyb77711 she was 11 not 5. She was an outspoken child. I just wanted someone to make sure she ate a healthy lunch while I finished a group project at my college on Sunday afternoon. Otherwise she eats all snacks. She's 19 now and she is fine. Maybe there are some children that really need to be saved out there, because mine are fine.
When I was 12 years old I used to go to an arcade and I was never molested or abducted but there were a lot of adult men there eventually they closed down the arcade because the owner was arrested for molesting children
My family used to be Catholic but ever since some of our family members came forward about being sexually abused by priests, we've completely abandoned the church. It's not so much that they were abused by priests that really hurt, but rather the cover up done by the church is what hurts more than anything. Instead of throwing them in jail, they just transfer them to other churches so they have a clean slate for a reputation and a new slew of unsuspecting kids to diddle. We have no affiliation with Catholicism now. A church with bad roots makes the whole damn tree rotten.

He said I must have been coming on to the guy and that it's normal for grown men to not turn down an attractive teen girl. I explained to him that his response is exactly why it takes victims years to come forward - we fear people will think it's our fault. It wasn’t until #Metoo that I was willing to talk openly about being sexually molested by a prominent Rabbi, and a Hebrew school teacher. My mom had gotten molested as a child, so she was super careful with me & thank God I avoided it. But it’s weird & sad but necessary to be a kid & grow up looking at every adult wondering if they’re safe
I knew of one. He would always be outside with the neighborhood kids or have long 20 minutes conversations with them. Another thing is he would have a bunch of little kids clothes even though he didn't have kids. He had other behaviors like he was always going through everyone's stuff, spying, getting on other people's computers when they weren't around. He finally got caught in the act & is currently serving 2 life sentences consecutively.
My neighbor reached over my fence, unlocked it and took my 2 year old boy out.. I knew he was weird when I moved in. My step mom who grew up in the area said he was just a weird old guy that everyone knew... He tried over 8 months to groom me and my child before he took my son. He tried to offer to babysit, he told me that he wanted to be with me and raise my son together, built my child toys.. The last straw was when he had told me that he wanted to build a tree house in his yard and cut a hole in my privacy fence so that my son could go back and forth... I reported him to the landlord and police. Police said they couldnt do anything as he never did harm to me or my child... A few weeks later is when he took him. Thankfully he was found safe 10 minutes later. I went to court for 3 years. He pled not guilty at first but changed his plea during the trial. He was let go on a promise to not be around children or areas where children go (im not sure what the actual order is called). In BC we can check criminal records and apparently he has breached...
My father had a cousin, a very beautiful girl later a woman. My father was the only one telling people that his cousin's father is molesting her. She never admitted it to him but he said to me one day this " I am sure she has been molested since her mother died and she died when she was a little girl" Nobody believed my father -my grandmother and grandfather thought that my father was just speculating. Guess what happened one day. Her cousin already an adult woman left her molester father and he was living completely alone. One day a neighbour saw him doing strange things with another neighbour's daughter that was mentally ill. He started following his actions day after day without telling anyone. One day he went into the house and saw the entire molestation scene. The next day we discovered that the guy hanged himself in front of his house. Nobody knew the reason -our neighbour and my grandmother and grandfather never told us why the guy hanged himself. Years later when my father started talking again about this molester out of nowhere my grandmother revealed to my father that he was right all this time and that the guy hanged himself because he was caught by another neighbour molesting a child. After so many years my father turned not to be crazy or talking BS. anyway -nobody believed him and nobody helped his molested for years cousin.
@Gice Rum He confronted the molester and then called the local cop. The Local cops were a joke and I don't think this would lead to a big investigation. The Molester could not face the shame and the reality that he was exposed so he decided it is best to kill himself The next day he was swinging in front of his house. My little cousin of 8 found him and told my grandparents.
As a single guy with no kids... I have zero interest in children and certainly would not want to watch a child unless I had to. I have shit to do... Fortunately there was another guy there--my age--and I could get away. 25 years later I'm on the beach and I see that same guy staring at a group of high school guys playing volleyball. This also happens alot because many parents don't care about they're kids and let them do whatever with whoever and don't supervise them too much. I had to come here today because I had an incident that scared me to death but I went into mama bear mode quickly! I took my child to a birthday party. The kids had a blowup water slide so everybody were in swim wear. The grandfather introduced himself to me but was a little to close to me. THAT PUT MY GUARD Up IMMEDIATELY! He later came back over when my daughter was talking to me. He kept saying how pretty she was and she had beautiful hair. He started to raise his hand to touch her hair and I jumped up told him very low “do you want to die today? Don’t touch my child. “ His eyes bucked and I sat her down in my chair behind me before I said that. He walked away so fast LOL. My neighbor noticed and called her daughter over to put her shorts back on. I made every girl that came with us to put a cover up on or shorts! I told them stay away from him, don’t take nothing from him, don’t go in the house without us, and watch out for each other. I watched that man like a hawk! He sat and watched every little girl at that party. When it was time to eat everybody went in the house but me and my daughter stayed outside with a couple of little girls. He never moved from his spot UNTIL 3 11 and 10 yr old girls came of the slide while the parents were inside. I got up to talk to the girls about school just to block him. He went in the house after that. We finally decided to go and the host were thanking us for coming but he walked over too. I stood up with my arms crossed blocking my group from his view. damn right. I was doing handy man work at an apartment complex, cutting sheet rock with the door wide open. These little kids peeked in and took off screaming. Then, a group of about 30 people form outside all focused on me. Finally, the owner pulls up saying a tenant claimed I was in there with a knife. I'm like, because I was cutting sheet-rock. We had a neighbor who took special interest in my brother and even paid for his college. He was a single man. I always felt he was a molester. My brother won’t talk about it.
What sucks is when someone has innocent compassion, but are looked at sideways. I suspect all my brothers were abused as minors, all exhibited behavior of someone who was sexually abused, such as a fixation on bodily functions (urine, feces) developing stomach issues (which can also be stress based) and chronic pain, including pelvic.

I get what you mean. My Dad has the same concerns. He’s a good man, if he sees a kid walking to school (where we live, it’s a long walk to school), he feels inclined to pick them up so they’re not walking for two hours. But he can’t do that because people will accuse him of being a ped. Likewise, he’s really good with babies but even that’s suspicious because only women are ‘supposed’ to be good with kids. I love kids and they love to be around me as well. I also used to work with kids in schools and other spaces. In training they teach you about boundaries with children which are not hard to adhere to so its ingrained in me when I meet new kids...example. Not being alone with kids. If they are not yours what is the reason to be alone with them? Its not necessary..be open. Being aware of physical boundaries and not being overly touchy. Putting them on your lap or anything. Some kids will initiate touch..like holding hands or hugging which is fine FOR ME. My nephew likes to jump in my lap and the first time he did that I felt like I was at work and thinking how this COULD appear as a compromising situation..it took awhile for me to feel comfortable physically with him. Boundaries keep everyone safe. The child from abuse and the adult from being accused falsely. Its very easy to have fun/interact with kids AND have safe boundaries.
I know a 40 year old man that never seems interested in doing anything with people his own age. He's constantly hanging out with teenage boys. When I found out he dated a 19 year old young man I got really alarmed. Because he's also always sort of adopting young boys and playing this fatherly figure role thing. He says they don't have a dad and he feels sorry for them. Every time he wants to hang out with me he always brings some young 13 year old boy that isn't his. He was referring to him as his nephew when they are not family at all. I finally blew my lid and called him out on it. I dunno what he's doing...maybe nothing...but it doesn't look good and makes me uncomfortable. I been his freine since we were kids and I never stopped being his friend when i found out he was gay. I've been very tolerant and open minded about despite the fact I'm a very straight masculine right wing kind of guy. I believe in freedom and how he chooses to live is his freedom. But I've hit my limit it. Something stinks and doesn't add up. So far all I've done is tell him not to bring teen boys...whether 13 or 19...around me. It makes me uncomfortable and im setting a boundary. But I'm really concerned how he puts so much errors and time into the underage boys he runs around with claiming he's just helping them and being a dad figure. Says he loves them like his own kids. Something just doesn't sit right in my gut about it and I dunno what to do. He's been my friend for 30 years but something ain't right
Hey, I think I am like your friend but I'm in my early 20's. I know I am damaged person. But God has been so kind to me. I was a xesually maladaptive kid and teenager. I was never treated for it because I never said anything and was never caught. I was embarrassed and couldn't express what I did or process it. When I was 19, after a suicide attempt, I confessed to the authorities what I did and was taken to jail and 2 years later was under house arrest/probation. I was supposed to be 10+ years under probation but only did 6 months. It was a miracle. One thing I wish I had was treatment. I still struggle with the guilt of what I did but also attraction to boys 16-20. It's like I want to "father" and give advice but the xesual feelings get in the way. I've cried out to God and begged Him to take these homosexual feelings away, He told me his grace and mercy is enough. The example of His son is there. I have to be like Jesus said, to abandon myself and take up my stake of torment. I will suffer with these feelings but I won't give in to them, the future prize awaits and God will reward anyone who follows the example of His son with everlasting life. I also do not follow any politics because the Bible already mentions what will happen to all those who put their trust in men/governments and what will happen to these short lived reigns of men. Only Jesus Christ is the rightful king.

Remember most work with blackmail. These people murder children to hide their crime so it takes not just trust but proof on your side. That you can follow thru on your part. These abusers are some of the most dangerous people alive. Too many adults envy them rather than depise them. This makes children who talk in a serious need for protection. Never go to their parents with accusations. Deal with the child and agencies that specialize in child abuse like rape crisis or battered women. Even CPS can be a problem in the beginning of a case.
The only reason I’m here is because I think one of my teacher may be one. He always favors me and my friend. Once my friend and I were early for class so we sat down it our seats. It was just us and our teacher. My teacher told us that he wished it was only just us in the class and that he would give us “special treatment and please us”. We thought that was weird but brushed it off as nothing. Then a week later I was talking to the teacher after class and I kid you not he told me “my heart gets warm when I think about you”. I told my dad about that and he said he probably just thought he was trying to find a way to speak to kids and was to “awkward to say anything”. Finally, what really set my friend and I off was, in another period the a small group of kids was joking about the teacher watching porn on his phone because he was always on it. My teacher laughed along with them, but then he said in the most serious tone that “only if it was children’s porn”. Only two people heard this and one caught it on videotape. Now whenever he is overly nice to me I get scared. The only thing that worries me is that he is just an awkward guy and I am accusing him of being a pedophile. Anyone have anything that can help me?
If your parents don't listen tell the school counselor or a different teacher and if that doesn't work tell your family doctor. Have your friend tell his parents. And don't go around him alone. Stay with your friend when you have to be around him

You didn't mention lonely OLD neighbors, who prey on quiet and obedient young children, such as myself. He threatened to cut me up into small pieces and throw me in the trash if I told anyone what he was doing to me. Child molesters are not always outgoing and helpful. Many stay to themselves and quietly groom their victims as the opportunities arise.

Unfortunately, kids are being lured through the internet more and more. One perv was chatting with my 11 year old girl. He was very flattering. He found her through the game Fortnite and started chatting about video games, first. He offered to pay for some of her V-bucks. He said he wanted to meet her. He pretended to be in eighth grade and said he was lonely. She then said she was lonely too. (Of course she is lonely in a lockdown and pandemic).Then he started to ask sexual questions that she got uncomfortable with, but she didn't stop chatting with him. In fact, even though I had informed her of these scum, she lied about speaking with him, after I asked who she was playing the game with. She said it was her friend from school. I almost believed her, but something about the way she said it. So, I told her I was going to call her friend, and that is when she told me she had been chatting with a stranger she met online. I read all of the chats and had a very long discussion with her about why she shouldn't chat with strangers--again!! Then I showed her a whole bunch of police video of creeps that were caught doing the same thing. Grounded for a month without video games, and now she has to have her tech in my living room. They were chatting for 3 months. I reported it to the cops. I also cussed him out in his chat.

My parents did this with me & it helped me growing up to see that they were being Very Careful= Too Strict sometimes to a kid. But after a few stories my parents regularly told me... And now we know that these are not always true. They are signal - married teacher kidnapped a high school ROTC student. Female teachers who are good looking and married going after the middle school boys. All 3 teachers in the news, were long time teachers. They didn’t move around, they had behavioral markers that were dismissed cause they just didn’t seem to completely finish the grooming. Now I agree that when going to their home they have toys that attract these kids. That was dismissed cause either they had kids that played the games or a spouse played them. No, what you truest need to look for is that person who pays more attention to that one child. Is your child dependent on this adult for approval, are they trying to please them? Then you have the opposite, are they avoiding this teacher, are grades going down? Are they changing their appearance, trying to look sloppy (baggy clothes) trying to not get noticed? The reasons these people get close to your child is cause your busy and not giving/showing attention to them or in the latter, you dismissed their comments about how a certain teacher gives them the creeps. In high school a new bad teacher (old one retired) started a jazz band. Not many people signed up for it(10 girls, wind instruments - 3 boys drums). The teacher told the boys to leave cause he was just going to work with the girls for the rest of the semester. The guys left (we had an open campus back then) some to the library to study for other classes, some to the store, some Just wondered cause the teacher wouldn’t let them in class. He then lined the girls up by breast size. Made comments and got everyone to judge everyone else. The girl said at her deposition, she tried to tell her mother but was dismissed. She didn’t know what to do cause by the end of the week the teacher had warned them about telling others about the class that he was sure to get the scholarships to college, that they should not tell anyone or the class will be too big to do a good job. The girl wrote all this in her school journal, that the language arts teacher failed to read. Her boyfriend though noticed a change in her. He said something told him to read her journal. And when he did he got so mad he went straight to the teacher and beat the shot out of him. The police arrested the boyfriend. The girl again tried to tell the principal what had happened but the teacher insisted on pressing charges so the boy went to jail. The principal, during all this was handed the journal (not sure if it was the boy or girl that gave it to him), and called the police to have the teacher arrested. Sounds like the right thing to do right? Wrong. The principal was suppose to call the union rep to give them a heads up. Suspend the teacher with pay until an internal investigation could be done. The guy was guilty even said so but he blamed the girls for dressing sexy. During a closed trial (the witnesses talked in school and told people what happened) the union rep argued that because the union was Not notified and the proper procedures were ignored that the teacher should be set free cause his rights were ignored and the Judge agreed. A civil case the was brought against the teacher and not the district that had the teacher found guilty but due to a plea deal from the criminal trial he could keep his state teaching certificate so he could teach in a different district. The lawyers called this a victory. They got their conviction. However it was more a conviction of bad teaching and the district had the right to fire him and not a conviction of improper conduct with more than one minor.

I'm single, unattached, teach children, and hate every minute of it. I teach with the door open. If a child closes the door when they come in late, l tell them to open the door. I love children to death, and giving them treats. But l have no desire beyond that. I used to be a court appointed child abuse advocate. I try and defend children as much as possible; but *never* to defile them.
What is truly shocking is, if a child tells his parents and they are not believed. Many many years ago,my friend told me her fatber had been abusing her from a very young age. When she turned 11 or 12yrs she figured that instead of this being fatherly love, it was wrong so she went to her local priest who said she was exaggerating. The Sexual molestation continued so she went back to the same priest who then went to talk to her father and he denied it. She then went a 3rd time to the priest,who then told the father, if he felt 'the urge' to go knock on her brother's bedroom door and just talk to the. The mother knew nothing. I came here to share what I experienced, I am a high school student and I am 16 years old, and one time someone chatted with me and he told me that he likes me, he also wants to meet me in person, and I feel that he looks friendly, after we got along, he started saying sensitive words to me, like he said he wanted to give me babies, But at that time I just ignored it, but I already felt like something was wrong, I had in my mind that if this person spoke sensitive words again, i will be mad. Then I asked him why do you say such words to me? And he said to me, maybe I might like it, and I told him that I don't like what he says to me. Then when I was curious about his personality, I asked if he was still studying And he said that we are same high school students, I told him that a high school student should not talk like that if he/she is in the right mindset. After a few days he is still forcing me to talk to him, and i just blocked him.

Many teacher prefer to just complain about parents. They don't want to get involved. Remember too, sex offenders are either aggressive or passive aggressive. The enjoy the fight and turning the tables on anyone who tries to stop them. This is why these kinds of conversations are so important.
My wife and I are foster care providers. These predators are EVERYWHERE. ANYONE who wants to work with or spend time "helping" kids or are interested in kids you need to really look at. I evaluate everyone and some are at high high levels. Watch your kids.

im fiercely protective of children. i don't have kids, but i have a fierce need to protect them. i dont remember abuse (other than my mother burning my feet with candle wax and making me kneel on salt with my hands up holding books, or beating my knees with a stick because i talked back to her). i dont know if i was abused as a child and am fighting back in this way of protecting others. as an adult, i dont like people touching me and i feel uncomfortable around a lot people.
This is why safeguarding within institutions is essential. Never let an adult or older teenagers be alone with a child. Child groomers/molesters would see every weakness as an opportunity to exploit no matter where it is.
My girlfriend was violated by her father and she couldn't do anything and she still feels like it was her fault because she didn't say anything.. I do work in a capacity that involves helping inividuals, one on one, through dependancy issues and I can guarantee you, there are men AND women who are guilty of child molestation. It is as this man says: people who are in positions of trust and seem to be a little too enthused about kids or seem to "just happen" to always show up. With the female predator, look for "the mommy" who wants to overly console or mother your kid.
