I must print the document and show this video to my wife after we get new windows. I am 100% sure she will be the same as the customer you described in this video. My wife WILL find any and every blemish or issue with her eyes 1.375 inches from every inch and angle for her pre written list of complaints. We go through this process with EVERYTHING!!

Yikes! Maybe give her a tall glass of wine before she gets started.

I know Jeff can relate to this one....I have have visited homes where in order to actually "see" the flaw required that I visit only during a certain time of the year, and only during a specific timeframe during the day, and only if the sun is shining, otherwise no one can see the flaw....(edit -- dropped homeowner comment...lol)
@HoustonWindowExperts
@HoustonWindowExperts Год назад
Lol... If it's that hard to find, it is not a flaw.

@@HoustonWindowExperts LOL!! Surprisingly, this exact scenario probably happened 5 or 6 different times that I was involved with a visit, but also more than a few times when I wasn't part of a visit with the same conditions.

Loving your videos! I'm onto the 4th one after this! I'm an admin assistant at NCTL in Everett, WA. We test windows/doors. I assist with writing test reports for manufacturers and inspection agencies. I'm finally understanding a lot of the terminology and the WHYs and HOWs even though my boss and coworkers TRY to explain to me. You have a great way of teaching that gets through to me much easier! :) Thank you!!

Hi Eve, I have dealt with your lab in the past, but have never been there. I have written more than I can remember of the same types of reports that you write so totally get it!! Welcome to the industry!

Thanks for all of these vids. Even though we've got different standards here in Australia, the fundamentals about how to choose a new window and glazing options are transferable to every country. Was very useful when planning our window renovation project!

This is a great video, Jeff! I appreciate your story about the woman who found a flaw when on the floor and the light in exactly the right place. I can totally relate!

@@HoustonWindowExperts Can't believe it's been a year since this one came out! This one brings back memories. Imagine seeing a 12" hair in a laminated glass sandwich or inside an IGU, fun trying to explain to a customer how that happened...lol

Thanks Jeff, and Bradley 🙂 Question Jeff : I "Think" we are Finally Ready to get down to actively Shopping for Our New Windows. What I have in mind, would be - The Least amount of, Frame - Sill - inside and out - No Grids - The most amount of Glass Possible ! What we have Now,(I think that came with this 60 year old house, (?), Are Wood Frame, that Somewhere along the line, Someone had Aluminum Storm Windows installed, (they are Literally Falling Out of the House). Can You Possibly advise me as what to be looking for, that would Be, or come Close to my Desired Objective 😕 ? Also, we live in Suburban Philadelphia, More Specifically, Bucks County. "If Possible" would You know of anyone in our area You might be Comfortable Recommending. It Would Be Much Appreciated 😊. Thanks Again, JaneLee 🕊️ 6/4/21 - (Our 46th Wedding Anniversary)

I can tell that you're a subscriber of our channel and watch almost every video we've made. I am most grateful! Congratulations on your anniversary also! I would suggest a single hung side load window. Side load WIndows are going to have the narrowest frame profile of operable windows. We may know a good window dealer in your area. Could you please email our office and they can look at our list and see who that is? info@houstonwindowexperts.com

It Would be My Privilege to email Your Office so They could see if there is Someone on the List who would be willing to assist us. At the risk of sounding Helpless, I'm Going to Share Your Reply to Me, with my Husband, and ask Him to follow Through with emailing Your Office. I Hope that would be Satisfactory 🙂.
