I was absolutely shook by that price point! With the creativity, presentation, and the fact that there’s so much effort into making all ingredients in house, I would expect a much higher price point. Two to three friends could certainly enjoy both the atmosphere, experience, and the dish itself. Where as here on the other side of the country, even “fast food” style chains like chai time would actually still cost the same or more if you want a fancy drink with friends (especially if it’s taxable with that 15% GST 😓😓😓). Looks like it’s time to move to BC.

Ambleside well, it ain’t supposed to be sweet. But be real, thy definitely gonna add a lot of sugar, tapioca balls or not. Also, sugar is glucose. And tapioca starch...is starch. So when our amylase breaks it down, we still get glucose one way or another, there’s definitely some other disaccharides and polysaccharides there too. Like lactose, which gives you glucose still.

It's like the cold version bubor cha cha sold in singapore and Malaysia. Nothing exceptional except it's called bubble tea. Why call it tea? When it's a sugar laden dessert. Very misleading.

tikus 1970 usually milk tea is made from black tea. that’s why they call it tea.
