@@victoriapecoraro9589 no, the violin would take a lot longer to learn than the time he would have had for the role. plus, some violinists in the comments said it was fake
@@wandas-wand3966 I researched it, and found out that he played the violin when he was a child and that he went deeper to play in this movie!!so, YES, it was him playing !!
@@mariaclarabibiano7264 really? because i think he’s said that it wasn’t him actually playing FULLY maybe he played it a bit but it still wasn’t great so they dubbed it over
It was not him actually playing he did a very good impersonation see this video by twoset violin his bowing and direction of stuff is correct but his fingering is wrong
He dabbles in a lot, doesn't mean he can do a lot. He's an Eaton educated actor. Eaton has intelligent students, posh boys go there like Prince William. But the languages here are not all pronounced correctly and in almost all he says he understands more than speaks, actually he says he hears more than he speaks.
“A gentleman is one who puts more into the world than he takes out” George Bernard Shaw. Every clip in this montage is Tom Hiddleston doing exactly that. He puts everyone at ease and is always giving of himself for others. I think that is why he is such an icon!
H o w. Is this man so perfect? He can speak like 7 languages, he can play the guitar, he can play the spoons, play the violin, sing, dance, he looks SO FINE, he’s so sweet, he has a VERY nice voice, he can do impressions, he can rock any look. I just- I can’t take it-
He definitely cannot speak 7 languages fluently, nor is he a polyglot. However, he does make the effort in speaking a few words or several of the language in which the interviewer is speaking, which is huge, and that does show intelligence. Most do not make that effort. He is decently fluent in probably a couple of languages. Tom is pretty fabulous.. that is agreed, for sure.
We do, I agree. Showing the effort to speak a few words in another languages shows great social skills! Part of his job but being nice too! And I’m 67 yrs old and think he is absolutely awesome..especially when he dances! Telling my hubby we need to learn to dance like him!!😂
Edited: Besides the fact that you are just assuming that he's "very intelligent" it wouldn't make much of a difference here cause he still needs to be willing to spend a lot of time to learn new stuff, being intelligent doesn't mean that you were born with the ability to play the guitar / speak lile thor
@@qujie8212 wrong. Kinesthetic intelligence (coordination) and Musical intelligence (good ear) are other types of intelligence that are highly correlated to IQ (Logical intelligence). Other established types of intelligence are: introspective (self understanding), interpersonal (people skills), linguistic (vocabulary, grammar, and learning other languages), existential (philosophical), spatial (art, visualization, understanding directions), and naturalistic (understanding ecology, evolution, animal behavior, and nature in general). "Natural talent" is just another name for the concept of intelligence. Scoring very high in one type of intelligence does not guarantee high scores on the other types, but most people have similar scores in all their different types of intelligence. Some people excel in only a few types of intelligence and do very poorly in the others, but they are more the exceptions than the rule. Maybe someone with 115 IQ could have bad Kinesthetic or Musical intelligence, but it is extremely unlikely that a person would have 150 IQ and sub 100 Musical or Kinesthetic intelligence. In fact, that's practically impossible. It's also practically impossible to find a very talented musician or athlete that is also dumb. Just look at the athletes that actually make it in the NBA, none of them are actually "dumb;" at worst, they are average. In some specific sports that often lead to traumatic injuries to the head, like boxing, then you are more likely to find "dumb" athletes. But that's due to confounding variables (higher baseline testosterone, and of course, the brain injuries).
@@qujie8212 umn, bro, talents are forms of higher intelligence. A talent is not a magical thing, your brain must act in a heightened state during feats such as singing or dancing at an above average level.
@@mariosblago94 thx for the explanation, it still doesn't change anything bout the fact that saying "He's just very intelligent" isn't a good argument, cause being intelligent might make it easier to learn new stuff but it's still a process of learning and takes a lot of effort And everyone knows at least some ppl which are very intelligent but seem dumb at first cause they're just lazy af
His impersonation talent is no joke. As an actor it's proves he is observant and catching details really good and imitate the style totally. His voice, facial expressions and body language adopts based on the person he imitates. This is really good.
With one exception he has nailed every impression I’ve ever seen him do. Talking 10 out of ten. Facial expressions body language everything like you said. Exception? Robert DiNero. But he was doing it in front of DiNero so the pressure may have gotten to him. 😂😂😂
Tom Hiddleston can dance, speak very well and articulate beautifully, is sophisticated, knows several languages, is well in touch with himself as a person (continuing to be rather boyish but so dignified at the same time), dropdead gorgeous, a talented actor, can play the guitar (and spoons), sing- he is such a gentleman and so humble and modest, but somehow a show-off at the same time. Tom Hiddleston is literally the definition of perfect. *Tom Hiddleston as Loki has me sold. I'm in love.*

And he's not really a boss in languages. Even Gwyneth Paltrow would be better... but if you want a celebrity teach you languages, ask Jodie Foster (the crack of French ) or Viggo (master of French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Danish... and Elvish).
How fantastic his parents must be...this man embodies the whole of every parents dream for their kids!!! Personality, talents, humor, attitude, life goals, and so incredibly handsome!
Tom Hiddleston is the epitome of a real life Prince Charming. Pure PERFECTION beyond words, and apparently nothing stands in his way to shine bright and brighter that he deserves. Proud Hiddlestoner all way round, case closed and court is adjourned!!
This has everything. The looks, body type, so much talent, known, great personality, i could go on cuz there is so much. Hes a lovely person and he deserves the world

Gosh, he’s so intelligent and well-educated. I adore people who are constantly eager to learn new things and don’t ever in their life stop in self-development.
His energy allows him to do so many things. He's constant high energy just well balanced and extremely intelligent. Probably started at a young age learning different things and never stopped.
I love how they put Tom impersonation of Graham at the very end because that was so on point. Like a cherry on top of a beautiful multi-tier/talented cake.
Fun fact: Tom Hiddleston is also a classicly trained Shakespearean actor. His real talent is his kindness and gentle nature. A news reporter who was interviewing him said she was cold so Tom took of his suit coat and gave it to her😘😘😘😘😘
Tom began as a RADA (Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts) theatre actor (as did Kenneth Branagh, who directed "Thor"), which is why Tom is such an incredible actor. He enunciates clearly (many actors do not), because of his classical stage training. And we who admire his acting skills, are the grateful recipients of this talent. Hence the reason Mr. Hiddleston could read the phone book, Roberts Rules of Order, or recite the same lines from the mind-numbing Economics teacher "Anyone .... anyone ??") from Ferris Bueller, and STILL make them sound sexy!!!
That’s what I love most about Tom, his kindness and gentleness. And humility. Most famous actors believe their own hype but Tom has never gotten a big head. Zawe said her number one requirement in a partner was kindness. She won the jackpot with Tom!
I love his natural ginger, but his looks good with the black hair. I remember at Nerd HQ in 2013 a girl saying she write a book with a character who is inspired by him. I think the character was a professor and with the beard he looks like a professor.
He seems so genuinely thrilled when he gets cheered for this stuff, that I honestly think he's a genuine "people pleaser" and THAT makes me like him even more! ❤
What I've learned during my AP Human Geography class has made me respect Tom Hiddleston even more is the fact that they have such diverse language origins. For those who don't know what I'm talking about, the way languages have evolved are grouped first into families, then branches, and groups to show which languages evolved from each other and are related to each other. The two most prominent language families are Indo-European (Because it includes English, and the other romance languages like French, German, Romanian, and many other western european languages) followed by Sino-Tibetan family. (Which includes all of the ancient and modern Chinese dialects along with most eastern asian languages) My uncle speaks four languages, Spanish, Portuguese, French, and Mandarin, and it took him nearly triple the amount of time to become as proficient in Mandarin as it did for the rest. Tom knows almost all of the romance languages, (Spanish, Italian, French, and Greek) plus he clearly knows a bit of Mandarin along with Korean. (Altaic language family) Tom Hiddleston has by far gained my respect for his many talents, and despite the way he likes to show off every once in a while, he isn't boastful at all. Anyway, I'm going to get back to writing my Loki fanfiction. School doesn't start for a few more days and I'm already slipping back into school mode.
Can dance Can sing Can play instruments Can play the spoons Is a actor Handsome Smart reads shakespeare Can speak different launguages Kind Respects women literally every womens dream man

He isn't really playing the violin. His faking is quite good, he definitely worked on that, he's got the right shiftings and the right bowing, however he lifts his left hand fingers too much
Yes exactly, he does fake it better than most, has a bash at the vibrato and everything. Does annoy me when people get the bowing wrong. If someone is instructing them youd think they'd say
Tom is so sophisticated and talented and humble and funny and sweet and that's just the tip of the iceberg of his personality. We definitely need a part 2 of this please lmao💗
