Just wanted to add my two cents for what it’s worth, thank you for this video. Sorry for the long-winded post but hopefully this will help someone. If you truly want to tackle rosacea, you need to treat both externally and internally. Sure there are some who manage to get rid of it with a very simple solution like tea tree, but if you’ve tried various things and are still suffering then read on. If you want to understand rosacea, learn about demodex mites, their life cycle, what kills them and what perpetuates them. For example, they consume bacteria and fungi, which is released into the skin when they die because they have no anus to excrete them, causing inflammation in the skin. This is why antibiotics appear to work temporarily as they kill the bacteria but not what’s releasing the bacteria. The little buggers also eat elastin and collagen leading to premature aging. They can colonise anywhere on the body where there are hair follicles or sweat glands, inside the nose (rhinophyma), the eyelashes and meibomian glands (ocular rosacea and dry eye) and the scalp included (causing grey hair and hair loss)! They love and consume oil, whether it is the body’s sebum or oils in cosmetics/makeup. As far as I know they can’t consume coconut oil- it suffocates them (which is likely why it’s considered very comedogenic because the mites die and release their contents which show up on the skin as blemishes or pustules). I think Vaseline and castor oil may also do the same. Chances are if you have rosacea you will be colonised in other areas with these mites, even if it’s not causing symptoms. They reproduce at night on the surface of the skin whilst you are sleeping, then lay eggs in the follicles which can take a few days to a week to mature. They can live on the skin for 2-3 weeks before dying. They hate heat and sunlight, and enough exposure will kill them. Coincidence that pale Caucasian Northern Europeans suffer more? It’s the lack of sunlight as a contributing factor to allow them to overpopulate. Read these comments and notice how lots of people’s symptoms are worse in the winter. It becomes a vicious cycle because sunlight aggravates symptoms in the short term as the mites struggle and die, which leads to increased avoidance of sun. Similar situation with exercise and saunas. Safe sun exposure (never burning and only light tan) is very good for you and needed for optimum health. Certain oils will kill them eventually like tea tree, clove, neem, black cumin seed, peppermint or eucalyptus. Most microbes cannot survive extremes of pH either so acids like ACV or alkalis such as bicarbonate can also kill/disrupt their life cycle. Once you’ve understood these mites, then try to figure out WHY they have overpopulated and why your body’s immune system is reacting to them. Whether you mean to or not, you have created an environment for them to thrive. Internally, microbes love sugar and will feed off the sugar/carbs you consume. The sugars may also alter sebum/sweat composition making your body more attractive to them, as well as altering you gut biome to allow overgrowth of harmful microbes. This is why lots of people have great results with keto/low carb/intermittent fasting, as you starve the microbes of sugar, allow the gut to recover and repopulate with beneficial microbes. Remember that bacteria and fungi need sugar so you will deplete lots of unwanted microbes which can act as food for mites, and your body can finally repair/trigger autophagy as well. There is also a link between the adrenal-pituitary hormone axis and mites (and disease in general) - essentially you want to do everything that you can to keep your body sensitive to insulin and cortisol, and not allow these hormones to run at sky-high levels all the time, which stress and eating carbs all day long will do. Research how to improve cortisol and insulin sensitivity. The things you can do to help yourself- Externally: - stop using heavy creams/oils/makeup - use tea tree wipes for eyes for 2-3 months if eyes effected - soolantra (may be curative for a few, but recurrence rate is high- so I recommend using it in conjunction with other measures. Also- don’t suddenly stop it. Wean down to alternate days for a month then twice weekly for a month then stop, and aim to stop in the summer months - Dead Sea salt soap (they hate salt) - sulphur another option - Any of the oils listed above- be careful about toxicity and don’t apply copious amounts of essential oils direct to skin - Small amount of bicarbonate mixed with water for 1 minute to worst affected areas may work very well - ACV - may need to play around with dilutions, can be very harsh on some people whilst others tolerate it - Black cumin seed oil has worked wonders for some people - Red light therapy- this kills/disrupts demodex. Those gimmicky-looking masks actually work, the red light is crucial, yellow may help with lymphatic drainage but the other colours are less important. Red light therapy will also diminish broken blood vessels/capillaries significantly Internally: - raw garlic (at least short term or monthly) can help recover and maintenance - fermented foods- water kefir and goat milk kefir are great, do some research on the importance of fermented foods - black cumin seed oil internally - tea! Ah the power of tea. Research clove, cardamom, hibiscus, sage, dandelion and black tea- then decide on a combination and drink 3 times a day. This may only need to be short term but commit to it properly if doing - stop feeding them. Sorry to say but at least try keto/IF/low carb/a mixture of these for at least a month and see if it helps. Give your body a chance to rebalance it’s biome and hormones. If you continue with carbs and sugar, would strongly recommended avoiding all bread, oats, pasta and rice (all sweet stuff apart from dark choc has to stop as well). Longer term, a carb-concentration way of eating, where you only eat carbs with one meal of the day, is a good long term strategy for health and longevity in general - stop eating plant oils, stick to olive oil, coconut oil, ghee and grass fed butter - plenty of omega 3 foods - try to eat within a 6-10hour window, find what works for you - exercise - doesn’t need to be complicated, mixture of walking/yoga/aerobics/gardening/whatever sports you enjoy - find healthy ways to manage stress- some people exercise, meditate, read - find what works for you - spend time outdoors as much as you can I appreciate some people find quick and simple cures, and that’s wonderful as it saves you a lot of time and energy. But for those who are at their wits end, start incorporating some of the suggestions above (mixture of internal and external) and I’d be very surprised if you don’t start to see a positive result. Be patient- these microbes don’t die straight away, consistency is key! (A final musing- if you follow a ketogenic diet or have read up on it, you will likely have come across or even experienced a Keto rash, or prurigo pigmentosa as it’s formally known as. It’s currently a mysterious, itchy and inflamed rash which comes about with withdrawal of carbs/sugar. It’s itchy, it’s often worse at night, it behaves like severe rosacea, and it affects areas of the body where there are lots of hair follicles and sweat glands, and is usually worse after exercise/sweating. People who power through usually see resolution after a few weeks. Most people go back on high carbs and it quickly goes away. You decide the rest!)
I drastically reduced gluten and dairy, rubbed aloe vera on my face every night and my rosacea went away. Even my dermatologist was surprised. This was 4 years ago.
I’ve suffered with this condition for two yrs now, often wondered if it was frm diet. Not too familiar with a gluten free diet but I’ll def look into, thnx
@@andrefecteau My diet is pretty basic, mostly raw, fruits/veg, chicken/fish a few times a wk, I do use a bit of sugar for my morning coffee and usually once/twice a month I’ll indulge with gelato. I’ve nvr paid attention to gluten so I’ll look into…thnx for the feedback 😊
Well, I had rosacea for many years. When I got Celiac and went GF, my rosacea went away. (I'd much prefer the rosacea over the cure being Celiac and GF!)
Success story: 4 months ago the doctor told me my blood sugar and cholesterol was really high for my age (28) and if I don’t do something soon I will be entering prediabetic stage. That scared me so I came onto RU-vid and found Dr Berg. I haven’t looked back since. I’ve been on keto since then and have lost 13 kg with IF. You have changed my life, I am now happy and no longer complaining to my husband about my weight. I’ve told everyone that asked about you but they get turned off when they hear keto. Their loss. Thank you for saving me.
I can’t tell you how many people have asked how I lost weight. I give them all of this amazing info and resources of Dr Berg, IF she Keto. They do t want to hear it! “He who has ears, let him hear.”
Ya know, sometimes it’s exhausting, because I’m so amazed about how much my life and health has improved. It just comes bubbling forth, honestly I cannot help it. Some listen and get as excited as I am, but then do nothing, and just go back to complaining about their life and health. What gets me is that the keto diet is sssssooooo easy! But people are addicted to complaining, they’re addicted to bread, sugar and eating lazily. Idk 🤷🏻♀️ It’s sad but true it’s their loss.
I have rosacea on my nose too but I never drink alcohol.....wondering if it's due to my unhealthy gut. I have Gerd as well. Had yours went away....it is embarrassing!
No solution … going to dermatologist every six months since some of the rosacea on my nose turned out to be pre cancerous. But I still get rosacea on my nose. I rarely use any product on my nose.
I just completed a 3 day fast and had noticed that the scabs on the sides of my nose had disappeared. So, yeah think you are spot on with that analysis. And thank you for educating us all with your wisdom and sound advice.
Also tea tree oil. I had a massive rosacea breakout on my cheek and a red nose. The tea tree oil killed the parasites. I used tea tree oil wipes. Then went on to heal my skin, of which I was most freaked out about my nose. It had pink and purple sizable pokadots on the front. I started using Cerave day/night/cleanser/retinol. Huge difference! It's been about 8 weeks or so and I think the dots are gone, but the redness on my nose isnt completely gone, yet. I believe what was the onset of this a year ago was a combination of things but the primary was the onset of serious stomach/digestive issues, which I cured drinking homemade acv daily over about 4 months. I hope my information helps someone. Before I figured this out I was freaking out and it took months to figure out a solution. Eric gave some good tips too. 🙂
I cant wait to let you know how I'm doing in maybe one month. It's hard to break bad eating habits of a lifetime, but I am enjoying the new healthier version of me in such a short period of time. I've cut out 95% of sugar. I've eaten more green "things" ..veg,salad in one month than in my entire life lol. Bloating is reduced and I just feel healthier. Thank u for all the information you provide. Xxx
I've had rosacea since I was 23 years old and it stopped a year ago at 35 years old. I always suffered from it from autumn to spring, while in winter suffering from it the hardest. I realized that it was not the temperature that solved it, but the exposure to the sun. Whenever I picked up a slight tan the rosacea went away. It wasn't just "disguised" since my rosacea was very itchy, and I didn't have itchiness during the summer. The interesting thing, ever since I have been on keto and intermittent fasting around a year ago, my rosacea is gone, even during winter.
I hear you. Have exactly the same thing. My Dr. made me stop taking Vit D as I had too high levels in my blood and I was a few weeks pregnant back then. Quitting Vit D is probably worse than quitting smoking. And here we go - 4 weeks later developed rosacea!!! My beautiful silky cheeks got ugly. First, I thought it was b/c of pregnancy and hormones. But when rosacea didn't disappear after pregnancy, I started getting worried. Ivermectin didn't help at all. Only now 2,5 years later I understand it was Vit D. In the summer my skin getting better.
I’m curious if you also ate different foods in the season you were getting more sun? I just spent 3 weeks solid camping out in hot sun and swimming in salt water daily and my rosacea- if that is what I have, didn’t change at all sadly.
I wonder if it due to the dump weather resulting some kind of mold Or bateria over grow. Same for me, when I am in try and sunny weather, I don't get red skin, but winter time is the worst.
I have this as a guy. I hate, hate, hate it. It is NOT a very masculine look, I must say, but I have been stuck with it my whole life. I constantly look like I have just been embarrassed.
I was diagnosed with rosacea, antibiotics worked a bit. But i cured myself with nutritions and diet. Took 5000 Iu vitamin D and 3000 of vitamin A per day, that made it much much better. But then I cut out any corn( that I had daily), and "bam" nothing left from rosacea. I have two add, I had been gluten and dairy- free anyway.
Along with fasting eating once a day and staying away from my triggers as much as possible im very proud of myself I came a long way to find a cure that fits me
Yes, I'm using neem oil. It's great for all skin problems. Also, I'm using cold pressed tamanu oil and some other cold pressed oil which aren't comedonic (coconut oil is comedonic, it pluggs pores) and sometimes some face creams without perfumes and alcohols, and which aren't comedonic too (La roche posay, bioderma etc for sensitive and cuperose skin). And I'm cleaning my face with products which haven't got perfumes and alcohols too (Toleriane dermo cleanser fluid, temporary). My biggest problem for rosacea are hot flashes (I'm in menopause) so it's direct impact on blood vassels at my face. I'm on keto diet and intermittement fasting (17-18 hours fasting / 5-6 hours eating every day) over one year now.
@@sdla690 I buy neem oil in pharmacy or in some web shops in my country which are specialised for selling cold pressed basic oils and pure essencial oils. I put neem oil alone directly on skin on my back or chest when I have got some acnes and sometimes I put few drops of neem oil directly on my dry face (few drops of oil rub between fingers or palms and then just tap on your clean face) . But I have my own home made oil mixture of few COLD PRESSED oils for face (neem, tamanu, hemp, sunflower and few others, which are no comedonic and have got many beneffits for skin). I first spray my face with Avene or Uriage thermal water and then I aply few drops of that mix of oils to damp skin (on that way you got moisture and oil components for skin, and thermal waters are very good for sensitive skin too). Sometimes I put that mix of oils on dry skin too, without thermal water (in winter usually). But if you are making your own skin mix of different basic oils, you must be sure which oils aren't comedonic and which oils are good for different skin problems (it writes on google, I can't write you all of that because English isn't my native language so I don't know how to write everything on English 😊).
Interesting, I would have saved myself hundreds of dollars for neem and coconut oil. Ivermectine is super expensive. My 20 year problem with Rosecea cleared up five years ago when I figured out all my food intolerences. I'm doing keto and IF and it has helped my gut (sibo) could have been the problem too
I've always had red, puffy skin when I exercise, but it would be normal when I hadn't just got my blood pumping. This winter my health took a huge turn for the worse and now my skin is red like I just ran a mile 24/7, and I think it's exactly as you described. I've had chronically high stress levels between school, family, and infections, and started having "high cortisol/cortisol resistance" sleep problems. The days I've managed to actually relax, the redness has reduced.
Rosacea struck me out of nowhere 3 years ago, I also had the pustules, large red bumps that were painful. I went to a dermatologist who wanted to prescribe antibiotics, that I would have to be on indefinitely- which I did not want to do since I had c-diff years ago , I found Dr Berg , while I did not go Keto, I did begin IF, 15-18 hours and have seen 95% improvement, I also use prosacea otc gel for flares. Stress, cold air and heat are triggers for me , also the occasional Margarita may trigger as well. Thank You Dr Berg for all you do! The IF has improved my health ten fold, you are a blessing!
@@johan7275 Anything that raises your insulin will be a problem. Everyone is a little different when it comes to insulin response. Best diet for me for eliminating rosacea was carnivore

I have noticed that when I was consistent strict healthy keto along with taking wheat grass juice powder my rosaceae started to go away. It is sort of back again as I need to get back on track again but has not been as bad. Thank you Dr. Berg for all you amazing well balanced videos. Thank you so very much!
Saw your new advertisment for your supplements. You set the bar high above excellent!! K2 mk7 with D!! Nutritional yeast with real B12 added!! Wheat grass ancient sea bed low temperature retaining enzymes etc!! Etc etc etc NO CORNERS CUT!! YOU SET THAT BAR HIGH THANK YOU!!
I used to have this on the side of my nose I went to my Doctor because I was worried about it Anyway he gave perception for ointment Which made it worse and painful So I did bit of research on natural treatment and one of them Was organic cider vinegar Every night clear your skin and then on piece of cotton wool soaked in the cider vinegar rub it on Within a couple of weeks It was cleared up This was about couple of years ago Its never come back But I do make sure I apply suncream to that area every day
I was proscribed the Ivermectin cream for my face by my dermatologist before COVID. When COVID began she refused to renew the prescription for me. Strange.
I’ve had rosacea for at least 3 constant years now. I tried numerous creams that helped keep it to minimum level. Finacea worked best at night once daily after washing and before moisturizing. I moisturize with Cera-Ve PM only on the lower part of my nose, the worst spot, but would use this for a daytime moisturizer all over my face too. I use LAROCHE-POSAY Toleraine Sensitive Crème UV SPF 30 on top of the Cera-Ve PM moisturizer for going outside including the bottom area of my nose. I use LA ROCHE-POSAY Toleriane Dermallegro Nuit as my nighttime moisturizer for everywhere except the bottom of my nose (again only Cera-Ve PM there). This all kept my rosacea to the lower part of my nose mostly but it would go up and down on my chin too. I stopped dairy, bread and high carb foods but couldn’t get rid of it like I used to quite easily with Metrogel and Doxycycline back in the day many years ago. My rosacea got worse when my general mental and physical health (chronic neck & migraine pain, non-alcoholic fatty liver from severe sugar/chocolate addiction, GERD, peri-menopause and skin sensitivities especially itchy skin, chronic sleep problems, C-PTSD, OCD, & ADHD) got worse since 2017 when my therapy and family dog’s health started to deteriorate in her older age. She was an incredible help for me mentally and physically and so much more, so when her health deteriorated, mine did too. After recovering somewhat from her passing away at 14 yrs old in Sept 2022, I’ve been working on my health much more when I can. So not surprised I haven’t been able to clear my rosacea up. I’m on day 3 of a 5 day juice cleanse and following as many health tips and protocols for juicing. When I woke up on day 2 yesterday, my rosacea was pretty much gone (no bumps anywhere or gross skin) except some slight redness on my nose and cheeks. Im also not as inflamed throughout my body. Since injuring my neck in 2004 from repetitive movement in a very toxic desk job, my whole body gets very inflamed and painful. Bad foods especially my severe chocolate/sugar addiction (where I got up to eating 2 king size chocolate bars at night for many years and only a bit less prior to that since a very young child) have always made this so much worse. However I usually eat pretty healthy during the day. It’s been a long time since I’ve done a juice cleanse, probably at least 5 years. So I’m pretty excited and happy at such fast results. I actually did the juice cleanse for my liver and anti-inflammatory struggles so was surprised at it helping my rosacea so well. I’ve been to a dermatologist but none of her recommendations of creams and antibiotic took it away this much even for a moment. It’s when I went to my Naturopathic doctor that got me going on a much healthier diet. Though the B12 and Vitamin D supplements has definitely made my rosacea get a bit worse at times so I’ve stopped them until I see my Naturopath again in a few weeks. She did not recommend juicing, it was as my own idea to try again. But I highly recommend trying a juice cleanse even trying it for just one day might help. But if you’re like me with so many health issues, definitely ask a doctor before trying first and I highly recommend a Naturopathic doctor. I’ve never had such great results from any other doctor before and I go to a pain specialist to get Cortisone injections for my neck/migraine pain so that’s saying a lot. Best of luck to those who suffer with rosacea. ❤
Castor oil is an amazing oil with loads of uses. I can also attest to using for healthy eyelashes as well as eyebrows. *Be sure to use Hexane-free, organic castor oil*.
I watch you and several other physicians. I have greatly benefited from the knowledge and insight you share. I have even gone so far to have a notebook, where I keep notes that I can refer back to. Due to you, I have figured out health issues and been able to reverse them. Health issues, that my doctor and NP have not had a good answer for and you did. Anytime, I have any issues I am looking for your videos, I know somewhere in your videos I can find the answer. Very big hugs. You have been a God send!
This is unrelated, but you want to hear success stories. Two years ago I had a fatty liver with blood test results showing an ALT number of 54. Following your advice on a healthy keto diet including lots of cruciferous vegetables, my recent blood tests showed an ALT number in the normal range at 41.
Former doc told me not to worry about fatty liver as most people have it. WHAAAAT? 😲 OK, kicked that jackass to the curb, just one of many in my lifetime, and found another who said absolutely the fatty liver must be addressed. So, I did keto, OMAD, and fasting and my liver is as healthy as can be. I'm 71 and tired of docs just telling me it's old age. 😝
Staying away from triggers definitely helps but pretty much impossible in everyday life. Himalaya Neem (I took capsules) does help. The best for me has been washing my face then using a mix of organic ACV/water as toner and coconut oil as moisturizer. Hydrogen peroxide also helps in place of ACV if you want or need to switch it up. Since I've been doing that routine, I hardly get 'Oh. Looks like you've been getting some sun...' anymore.
I done carrot diet for a month then all the redness gone. I would recommend anyone with rosecea to do that. 3 carrots a day I consumed for a month. Don’t worry, I didn’t become orange.
Does anyone have any experience with getting rid of the red mark that can appear on the bridge of the nose from wearing sunglasses? I've tried pretty much everything I can think of and it won't budge.
I'm dealing with this issue and have gone as far as cleaning the nose pads on all of my glasses with alcohol every day. But when I put on my glasses and look in the mirror, the bumps are not in the same spot as the nose pads. I have a Rx waiting at the pharmacy for this problem, but really don't want to go that route. I started the keto and IF to see if it helps. Have you had any luck with yours??
I have had vascular rosacea since I hit my teens. I'm now 57. Sick of the broken blood vessels on my cheeks, I had my first V Beam treatment TODAY. Second treatment in 8 weeks. I thought you were going to talk about the types of rosacea. Fasting is not the answer to everything Dr. Berg. I never had pimples or pustules. I would just flush red at the slightest provocation until I grew up and learned to hide my emotions. I don't get flushed when I work out. I don't blush anymore at anything. Blushing is not a good look on me, man. I don't even wear blush, since mostly I have tried to cover the blotchy redness on my face all these years. Finally, there is a dermatological tool to take care of it for me: V BEAM. I'm sitting here now in a puddle of vaseline. Even with the welts, my skin already looks better.
@@rodicailie7353 Not according to someone else who encouraged me to pursue VBeam. That person said she had a course of VBeam many years ago and now her redness is just a bad memory. But even if I have to submit to two or three treatments every year, I will. It's $300 per treatment. I did ask about Rhofade, but my derm said THAT is temporary and if you miss a spot it's bad. I'm not saying the 2-4 treatments I plan to get will be permanent, but I do hope they will be. My skin has been pretty calm the last few years. I rarely get beet red anymore. I just have pesky red blood vessels that are very hard to hide. I would like those to disappear, and for my general blotchiness to be minimized.
1 year ago I have extreme rosacea even doc shocked too much expensive medicine then I found black seed oil and apply on my face and it's never came back....it help me heal me ....
I had rosacea about a year ago and ivermectin cleared it up. My dermatologist told me to buy the stuff on amazon, which is for horses and just put it on my skin and I thought he was crazy lol. It worked though. I wasn't able to finish a round of antibiotics to finish it off so it seemed to flare up from time to, but a little more ivermectin put it back in it's place

I cleared up my rosacea in the early 90's with a good quality tea tree oil, and it's never came back. Lisa, I washed my face with a good soap to remove all oil etc. Then applied a few drops of the best quality Melaleuca oil made by the Melaleuca company in Idaho to each check and rubbed it in. Boy did it burn for a few seconds, but it was well worth it. I only did it once and it never came back. My rosesa was so bad the people at work called me Fred Flintstone, if you remember his face you'll know what I mean. I've never regretted doing that. My face is clear and it never came back. That was in 1992. Glad to help. Hope it works for you also. Taunya
Thank you Dr. Berg for sharing life saving information for the 🌎's greater good. God bless you abundantly!🙏 Would same recommendation work in treating Melasma? I have melasma in my cheeks area over a decade. I spot treat with Carotone skin brightening cream which contains 2% Hydroquinone. It doesn't treat the condition but it works.
My dermatologist told me years ago I have rosacea. Well, only a year ago it really broke through. It would always get worse when I was working out several times per week. Probably because of the high carb consumption that goes along with it. I didn't want rosacea but also didn't want to look ' normal ' , always wanted to workout and be stronger than average. I hate that it seems that I have to choose. As living without lots of carbs means a smaller/weaker frame. I'm trying IF now but still with carbs, also some other remedies like getting lots of sun + eating garlic on a daily basis. I'm 34 now and rosacea has controlled my life ever since I started having breakouts. I'm posting this in hopes of returning to this post and sharing the rest of my journey. Thank you for reading.
Rosacea can last for decades and does not go away on its own. If left untreated, the condition may slowly get worse over the years. There may even be permanent skin and eye damage in the long term👍
It's wonderful how we can obtain information about things like this and discuss it with others, just talking about it helps rather than suffer in silence.
I've just been covering the redness with make up when I go out. It's been flaring up alot this year since been putting on weight and drinking coffee with sugar. Alcohol always brings it on too. Thanks for the prompt to get it sorted.
gut - it's all about the gut. Easier said than done, I know..but gotta kill the crap, sugar, caffeine, etc. Just start slow - kill one thing at a time...and don't move on until successful with that one thing. Attainable goals. Weight gain can also be mold toxicity which brings out all the other toxins like heavy metals which also bind to mold and steel your iron
The mistake some educators or Dermatologists make is to always describe Rosacea as flushing or reddened cheeks with spidery veins. As an African, I don't flush and it's difficult to see capillaries or broken vessels on Black people/Africans with dark skin tones. Videos like these put me off bcos it seems like Rosacea and its treatment is only being discussed for the benefit of White/pale people. What of taking Melanated people into account? I've been suffering Rosacea for more than 10yrs now.
Imo if we have a condition due to a so called unknown cause, ( without having a DNA or birth defect or an allergy ) we have alienated ourselves from the lifestyle, that our bodies would need, in order to stay healthy. Imo it, for the most part, is connected to our cultural behaviour and to everything we learned wrong, during the last centuries. If we want to stay healthy, we need to orientate ourselves towards our natural way of living. Everything we changed during the last centuries or millenia, is a potential cause for sickness. And yes 2 or 3 layers of tight and toxic clothes, most beauty products, most cleaning and washing agents, pesticides, most apartments or buildings in general, cars, smog, too much stress, smelly and loud cities and fast food or a bad diet, also do fall under this category.
@@andrefecteau I was just going to mention food. Suddenly I’m allergic to a lot of food during the past 10 years. I cannot have gluten anymore for one. I will get inflammation and it shows on my face my skin all over as well. Blotchy and red.
I would not presume there to be only one parasite associated with rosacea symptoms, however those who have been diagnosed with ocular rosacea, chronic dry eye and blepharitis should research a parasite called demodex. Ivermectin is effective against demodex, tea tree oil is effective as a topical, borax (where available) is helpful for disinfecting bedding.
On a side note... A lot of us know about Ivermectin to fight the C- 19 but where can we get it these days? Also my Rosacea used to get triggered by alcohol consumption.
Hello, I have rosacea, my mother also has it. I have had it in my eyes since I was little. Now my skin becomes very dry and I can notice the expensive demodex on my skin with the naked eye and I have veins. Do you think that with diet I can maybe do it? improve

Yeah I have done keto and fasting but fasting makes it worse. Probably too much stress from fasting too often. Only thing that helps is Metrogel once per day. Maybe I’ll try the neem oil. Thanks!
I can't do fasting and I won't use what my MD tried to give me as it's antibiotic (I have Candida) and says in the package info: may cause liver issues (I have enough of those already, lol). I've been using colloidal silver in gel form. It's working, two red patches gone and it's bringing all the lumps n bumps to the surface.
I took your advice on acid reflux .. it was olive oil extra virgin.. I take it regularly and have had zero acid reflux attacks .. which were scary and stressful. Thank you Dr . Berg and keep up the good work
I used mite( scabies cream) and I have not had flare ups since. My nose is permanently red because the capillaries are broken from years of flushing but no flare ups .
Thank you for addressing Rosacea. I have suffered greatly with it all my life. Can you please go a little further and address the four types of Rosacea and what to do about each type? The types also include, Rhino (think bulbous nose) and Ocular. I suffer with the Rhino and have endured countless painful laser treatments, lifelong antibiotics which have destroyed my gut. Topicals that stopped working....
As someone who used to be a sufferer of this ghastly condition, maybe look into mental health? I had non existent self esteem and lingering family abuse and once I got to the root of that a lot of issues have cleared up. Between the rosacea and the huge patches of eczema I was a mess at one point. It's so frustrating. I used to be highly sensitive to all skin products and the IPL fixed most of that.
Is it possible to develop rosacea when doing an prolonged fast? I spose that would cause enough stress on the body but I feel fine. Sometimes great. Day number 23 if that matters
Ever since I came back from palm springs, (my 1st time time) during the summer for 2months in 100+ weather, my face is now dry, peeling, and red. Now I use facial cleansers. First time this has ever happened to me. This was in 2017 and still face gets dry if I don't take care of it. Plus when I was there my hair started falling out. I'm assuming it's the water there because the sink water was foggy.
