I've been intrigued by the Cricut for a while, so I'm really enjoying learning more about how you can it! Looking forward to seeing more of how you put yours to good use.
Note that Cricut yesterday announced that they'll restrict how much people can use their machines without a subscription. Pretty disgusting policy to suddenly dump on people.
Agreed, specifically came back to this video to comment. Love this channel but pretty shady to change your software to proprietary after promoting it as free to use for so long.
Cricut has announced in a new blog post that its automated cutting and printing craft machine will no longer require a subscription for unlimited uploads next year. The company took a step back when it announced it would postpone the change until 2022.Mar 18, 2021
Thank you for sharing this. I have both of the machines you have and haven’t used them. I am wanting to use mine, but I’m not sure how to, I am a visual learner and really need the step by step instructions or videos. Can you please direct me to those videos? Ty❤😊
The Cricut Maker takes a very long time to cut wood! And the bass wood snaps very easily. It is not worth the purchase, in my opinion, unless you are planning to cut other materials most of the time. It would be better to save up for an X-tool or Glowforge if you plan on cutting a lot of wood.
Amazing!! Have you tried cutting foam board or 3mm thick PVC sheet? I want to make cake toppers with this material covered in vinyl. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
Can you cut small holes in the bass/balsa wood? I’m looking to make my own wood cross stitch canvases to sell cross stitch kits but didn’t want to get a laser cutter. Can the circut do that?
why the cricut cutting machine is not so well known in Indonesia. We in Indonesia have many cutting machines such as GradTeck, Mimaki, GCC and China Jinka products, also one of the cheap ones is the Cameo Silhouette 3,4,4 Plus and 4 Pro. in a small business scale many use cameo but many do not know the cricut cutting machine, the name is very foreign to us even a cutting machine distributor does not know, # ONE OF OUR REQUESTS IN ASIA SPECIALLY INDONESIA TO CRICUT CUTTING MACHINE MANUFACTURERS DO NOT IGNORE US, IMMEDIATELY PROMOTE TO INDONESIA BIGLY SHOW US IF YOUR PRODUCT IS worthy of our possession. IMMEDIATELY EXPANSION TO INDONESIA BUILD BRANCH OFFICES, GOOD AFTER SALES, ENOUGH SPARE PARTS SO WE CAN LOVE YOU AND MUST HAVE BECAUSE EVERYTHING WE NEED IS IN OUR COUNTRY INDONESIA
Please comment on Cricut’s NEW (3-13-21) policy forcing users to subscribe to Cricut Access just to be able to upload more than 20 personal uploads a month. This policy makes the expensive Cricut machines I own (I own three machines) virtually useless unless I pay for their subscription. I design on other platforms because Design Space is not a space to design. Additionally, it is only available via the Internet and is not stable or efficient. The constant crashing causes me to lose my work or have saved work magically disappear. Will you still be promoting the Cricut products in light of this flagrant GREEDY and sneaky business decision?
