Was about to post that myself before I remembered it's clubs to thank. It's Sampdoria, not only Eriksson's connection with Mancini & Mihajlovic following him who were pivotal to his Lazio team which ultimately got him the England job putting him in a position to advice Roman, they released Guillt on a free to us who was the first international star to arrive in the late 90's which caused a chain reaction leading to us being attractive to Roman in 2003 in the first place. Tbh if you looked deeply enough into our last 25 years you could probably find multiple Italian clubs we should be grateful for. Chelsea & Italy go very well together :)
You know Barcelona were actually going to bid for Bruno so they could loan him to Valencia so they could have Rodrigo. Because Barcelona decided to go after him, United got the deal done way faster so he wouldn't go to Barca. If none of that happened we probably wouldn't have been able to get the deal over the line before the deadline lol.
Dude, Sporting Lisbon and Manchester United always have their relationship. From Cristiano to Nani and Bruno, they never dissapointed us since the start. Meanwhile Dortmund only gave us Shinji Kagawa (One Season wonder and didn't even shine under David Moyes) and Henrik Mkhitaryan (Only became a Bargain tool for the greatest United Flop of All Time, surprassing Bebe and Diouf)
I’m guessing Ajax for spurs, if I’m wrong I have my reasons. 1. They gave us some of the best players we’ve ever had like Eriksen and Edgar Davids 2. We beat them to get to our 1st UCL Final ever in one of, if not, the best comeback of all time.
@@rcrow33 'if not the best' implies that you can regard it as the best one, and it really wasn't. I wouldn't even count it as one of the best comebacks of ALL time too. Imo it has nothing on Barca vs PSG, Istanbul, Man Utd vs Bayern, Ajax vs Real, Liverpool vs Barca, Liverpool vs Dortmund, Deportivo vs AC Milan, or Roma vs Barca - and those are just from the UCL, excluding any top flight leagues and tournaments like the World Cup. Not to mention that the final was dull and Ajax would probably give Liverpool more of a fight (or a fight at all at least).
No. He lost his legs. Lost a yard of pace and became injury prone. Auba is a star at Arsenal mostly due to his pace and movement. Alexis lost both. There isn't much creativity at Arsenal any more
Irish Guy on Arsenal: "Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is the only ray of sunshine on that gloomy Arsenal Team" Alexandre Lacazette, Bukayo Saka and Bernd Leno: "ARE WE A JOKE TO YOU?!"
Let's be real, saka is the only one out of those three thats actually playing well. Lacazette has consistently underperformed and Leno is decent at best
You should do a seven or eleven of current icons’ (like Ronaldinho, Yashin, Zidane) modern day equivalent. Like which players that play today are the next icon. Like for Zidane it may be Pogba (probably not) or Fekir or Coutinho for Ronaldinho. I don’t know. That would truly be an amazing video.
Liverpool should thank bourmouth for taking clyne and solanke. Without them leaving Trent and origi would never have played against barca so they wouldnt have the champions League trophie. This could have meant that some of their top players would join other clubs to win tropies
Can you do a video on what is happening at Tottenham and Newcastle, by the two clubs using government money to pay their NON playing staff, is it the right decisions or terrible decision
How about do the opposite for the next video What Club YOUR Club NEEDS To Curse: Definitely Liverpool for Southampton. Arsenal for Manchester United (Sanchez inflating the wages in the Manchester United squad). West Ham for Sheffield (Carlos Tevez goal) Chelsea for Tottenham (2012 Champions league victory caused Tottenham to play in Europa league) City for Liverpool (ruined their chances of winning two Premier League titles in 13-14 and 18-19)
Bro I'm a Southampton fan and I can safely say we would be in the top 4 this year if we had kept all our players. The whole Liverpool gang, including Alex Oxlade Chamberlain, Nathaniel Clyne, Dejan Lovren. We would also still have Gareth Bale, Luke Shaw, Wanyama, Schnierlden, and Dusan Tadic
Damn i expected liverpool to get psg. Psg bought neymar, which caused barca to panic buy coutinho for way to much money. With that money liverpool in turn bought allison and van dijk.
You missed another reason Watford should thank West Brom: Nigel Pearson had a short spell as caretaker manager at West Brom. It was his biggest "management" job at the time. If we hadn't given him that break he might never have been noticed as someone capable of managing at that level and wouldn't be at Watford Now.
Alternate one for Liverpool: Everton The only reason for Liverpool FC'S existence is because of Everton's unwillingness to pay rent on anfield in 1892. That year, Everton moved across Stanley park to goodison. So Liverpool, be thankful to Everton. You owe your whole existence to the toffees
Brighton: Hereford United, if we had lost to them in 1997 we wouldn't have had a club the following season as the Conference (as it was called then) didn't allow ground shares.
They have already said they will delay the start of 2020-21 rather than void 2019-20. And even if they do cancel the season then Liverpool will still be champions. Even the 'source' that 'leaked' that said it.
The only one I disagree with is Sheffield. Man U would've forked out a lot of money for another keeper after a couple of years of Stekelenberg, therefore Dean Henderson would still go out on loan a bunch and end up at Sheffield United
Irish guy this video be like You know that Janiter that once high fived Jose mourihno Well that's who Crystal palace should be thankful for Because he influenced Jose mourihno into signing for Manchester United and picking Jesse lingard at home to Watford who then made a key pass to assist lukaku into scoring a brace making sure that Watford placed in the regation zone allowing Crystal palace to take advantage and finish compfterbly mid table allowing zahas asking price to skyrocket forcing him to run down his contract this annoyed Everton so much that they gave crystal palace cenk tosun on loan where he scored on his debut allowing Thier finances to recover from benteke
Another reason for Man United to thank Barcelona: If was not because of Barca's interest in Rodrigo, they wouldn't have a complicated transfer offer for Bruno, which led to Man Utd rush to get the deal done
Because Stekelenburg went to Roma, he didn’t make the top. He was one of the better goalkeepers at that moment. In his time at Roma, he was pressured in to too much and too harsh training, which resulted in bad injuries. Had he not had these injuries that were to haunt him for the rest of his career, he could have made the top.
Sometimes I think 'this guys style of video is a bit annoying', but then you drop a clanger like 'it would be like trying to decipher a dog's bark' and make it all worth it
Stoke were relegated by palace not Swansea. Stoke played Swansea on the last day of the premier league season in 2018 having lost to Palace the week before sending them down and then beating Swansea on the last day 2-1
