The Irish Guy takes a look at each managerial meltdown from the last 16 years in the Premier League, including the likes of Sir Alex Ferguson, Jose Mourinho and Antonio Conte.
No idea how that was overlooked, his end of his lcfc career was full on, he even shouted at the Leicester fans to "fuck off and die" then came out and doubled down on it
@@krisgordon3116 yep, it all actually started in pre-season tho, when he blows top after losing a pre-season game and it all worsened after the Eva Carneiro incident. No wonder Eden Hazard "disappear" that season.
Solskjaer will watch this video and be like: "the fact my name is being mentioned along with the likes of Sir Alex, Mourinho, Conte, and Rafa shows that Manchester United are heading in the right direction"
@@supermateo8068 And Paul McShane said he has seen some of his videos and seen that Irish Guy likes to hammer him, so he says that an interview with him might not be enjoyable
Couldn't have been more wrong about the Rafa/Chelsea thing. Wasn't getting booed because he used to manage Liverpool, got booed because while he was managing Liverpool he implied we were soulless & would never manage a team like us. By taking the job proved he had no respect for us or himself. But the funny thing is, that rant DID work. The passion & emotion of it showed he gave a damn, the dig at the 'interim' title especially showed he actually wanted the job/we weren't just his little CV bump. Quite a few Chelsea fans gained a measure of respect for him after that, the booing subsided & the results got far more consistent.
Pompey fans should love him He might have told the Pompey fans before he left for Saints that he was going there to get them relegated and come back and win a trophy
As a Sunderland fan I remember Moyes' meltdown started after his first game when he said that we were in a relegation battle, and wonders why he got us fucking relegated easy as owt!
If United didn't buy him, he would've probably gone to Arsenal (who put up an £8M bid IIRC). The funny thing is, a few months later Arsenal gave Cesc Fabregas and Lionel Messi a tour of the facilities, hoping to get both of them to leave La Masia. In the end, only Fabregas joined. They almost had both Messi and Ronaldo.
Ferguson talks about competing for Ronaldo with Arsenal in his 2014 autobiography. The Messi/Fabregas one is from a FourFourTwo article released in one of their 2017 issues (I think July).
2013. Pretty sure crime to Chelsea was more than just manage Liverpool. And to say he couldn't reason with the fans was never going to work is kinda wrong because the chants and banners definitely went down after that press conference.
I must be the only one who thinks that Phill Brown having the players sit on the pitch at half time was fully justified. If they're gonna play like Sunday league kids, then treat them like Sunday league kids
Tbf, I think Becks deserved that boot. He's done a lot of good for people who don't have much. But he paved the way for footballers to have attitudes like Neymar, and Pogba have. If we knew back then that he's the reason for Pogba and Neymar having more haircuts and near naked Instagram posts than actually good performances on the pitch then I think we would all have kicked a boot at him
