I only get errors that I find in store. True story though: Back when I started collecting I sold a Chevy Silverado that got only half painted for $17.50! So I guess we learned today that the people that collect Hot wheels errors also have errors in their brain lol

Your video is a nice example of the mentality of HW collectors who collect errors, however i think most people collect errors because they have something unique. The No-Tampo errors and different wheel errors are the most interesting to me.

I still collect interesting errors, like missing Hot Rod engines, paint splatters, etc. but only if they are extreme errors, (like my $TH Fairlady), and only if I find them in-store. Great skit!

I collect only Hot Wheels brand cars. The only error cars I actively seek out are Matchbox errors (Hot Wheels cars with Matchbox wheels, or vice versa). Those are the true gems of error cars in my eyes. Any other error cars I loosely collect, and only buy if I find them myself or get one cheaply. The best one I’ve come across is my Matchbox 66 Dodge Charger that has a Hot Wheels wheel. Some of the prices of errors are insane, so I tend to avoid them.

It is really bad when this happens....My first STH,the '10 Pro Stock Camaro from 2016 was very expensive and when I got after 3 weeks it had missing rollbar.I was very angry.

I went to a store and bought a gmc syclone and all of them were missing ping on one wheel, I also found a broken Dodge Ram that fell apart into 4 pieces after opening the box

Yeah so true Drifter D, great video LOL! Think of all the permutations of errors that there can be - it's mind-blowing! The high price comes down to rarity of the error and demand right? I will typically buy an error in store if it is a casting I collect, and might pay a bit more for an error on the secondary market if it was one of my top favourite castings. But I reckon the major problem these days are the abundance of fake (home-made) "errors" and even those supposed "protoypes" commonly sold online. Enjoyed your role play buddy ; )

I have a Hot Wheels car I got from the dollar Store and this car is missing the back wheels from my 67 Austan Mini Van (Red) And I have not opened it yet and gotten this error 3 to 4 years ago. So far have not found any other errors :/

I have a cool collection of errors. Sometimes I trade for them. I just can’t resist them lol. But I don’t go on eBay and go crazy to buy them. I just get them as I hunt it local shows. Good video haha

Some people even count a broke casting/have flesh (excess metal that not cut properly from casting) as an error I have some cars that have this kind of issue. Gonna sell it someday, gonna be a luck if i catch an error cars collector :)

Don't get me wrong, errors have a certain "coolness" to them when you find one in the wild but I think paying a hefty amount for one is kinda strange. If any error collectors are reading this, you do you - this is just a fun video 👌👀
