Great video fellas. An HD remake would be incredible especially with all the changes you mentioned. The higher capabilities of the joycons would def do this game justice and overall make it play better
Mah boys with the collab! Zelda language me no understand but hard work on video me appreciate! Honestly if any of these zelda classics got remastered like Link’s Awakening i’d probably finally try them out. Great vid my boy!
This game is like the middle child of the Zelda series. Twilight Princess was a beloved game, BOTW was a masterpiece, and SS was scoffed at, and for that reason, it's kind of forgotten. I would like to see this game remastered, but it would require some pretty major fixes in order to feel complete. Great video mate.
Would love to see this! HD remake would give it a fresh coat of pain if you will, which would make it really visually appealing. Then, with the vastly superior motion capture on the joycons, it would be way better. Man, I want to see this so bad! SS is easily in the top 3 for me of Zelda games. I love the story, soundtrack, and overall aesthetic.
I hope you guys read this! In my opinion they could do a mod so you don't need motion controls. If the joysticks can be pressed down as a button (I don't have a switch sadly) then you could just press another button then move the left or right joystick around (depending on which hand is your dominant) to control the sword, press the joystick to stab and make a circle with it to rotate it if some puzzles need it. This is how I would do it personally.
Just like in Wind Waker HD how they added a Swif Sail so you can travel to the ocean faster, they should add something for the Loftwing to make it fly and move faster, OR what they could do is add a item that allows you to warp places in the sky, like probably after beating Skyview Temple and placing the Ruby Tablet in the statue of the goddess, when leaving a creature probably like a Gossip Stone will appear and ask Link if he could find his buddies that's somewhere around the Sky and they will help him with "Getting to places a bit faster" and when exploring The Sky, when reaching to a island there will be a Inactive Gossip Stone laying down, and when Link hits it with a Skyward Strike it will wake up and thank him and the reward will be to be able to warp to other Active Gossip Stones.
This was a great video Luke!! and shout out to key aswell i would seriously love to see Skyward sword to be brought back and i would gladly give Nintendo more money for Skyward sword port! all your ideas are great and would make great changes for a port *Nintendo TAKE NOTES*
Big agree on the loftwing area being super empty, it was pretty disappointing when I first went through the game. Also Key is right, Fi's reminders are awful and should be optional. Especially since people hate Fi as a character because of it, despite the fact that she's the best :( Great video fellas!
A Skyward Sword port on the Switch would be pretty cool tbh. Also, it would be my first time playing it too, epic 😌 Neat vid btw, you and Key did a great job on it, 😁
I'm not a fan of amiibo, personally. I'd be fine if they were just figurines but it's cheap that they try to get people to pay extra with perks, and you get the items out of the blue, which spoils the immersion. Still agree with everything else, though.
I still say breath of the wild is my favorite Zelda game but I still can't decide what number 2 would be, I'm debating between skyward sword and twilight princess HD
i would really like if they did the loading zones like how they did God of War for PS4's loading zones where you could inrteract while in a "loading zone" making it almost seemless
if they remap buttons and motion controls to be in sync with BOTW's controls then the whole motion issue would be worked out. that's true. like you said, the bow, the beetle, hookshot ect. and the skyward strike... the BOTW "weapon throw" button. just like throwing master sword beams, just a dif animation
great video Luke! although I will say when you transition from topic to topic it takes almost a second too long and feels a little weird, also the narrating is pretty good overall but also a hare too slow. Just a few tips for ya!
