My greatest Old Film Moment came on the 2/01/97 When Jorg Alberz A.K.A The Hammer smashed the ball past Stewart Kerr in the Celtic goal at Ibrox Stadium early doors in to the bottom right had corner the young Celtic Goalkeeper how Tommy Burns had picked to start against Rangers that night in 1997 had absolutely no chance of keeping the ball out of the net Rangers wining 3 - 1 in the end as Rangers marched towards 9 in a row that season. In terms of achievement You have to say Jock Stein talking Celtic to two European Cup Finals losing the first against Feyenoord & winning The Second against Inter Milan the fact that Jock Stein dared to cross the sectarian divide in Scotland or remarkable in its self something I personally could not bring myself to do. Jock Stein's father used to wish him luck before every game unless he was playing Rangers his father just could not bring himself to wish Jock well before any Old Film game his Dad was that much of an ardent Rangers fan apparently. Now a day's I just cant be bothered with all The Sectarian rubbish that comes with both Old Film clubs I have seen first had the trouble that Sectarianism can bring to people's life across The Irish Sea first hand. Keep Safe Sam & dont give a dam what any Trolls have to say it's about the game nothing more nothing less. The game for the sake of the game as The English translation of The Queens Park motto says.

Top man Leroy . Davie cooper was world class. And for me Tommy burns was my favourite celtic player. Not only was he a great player Tommy was a decent human being.

Rangers fan here, Best players for Celtic for me would be Jimmy Johnstone he was a defenders nightmare, and more recent would be Tommy Burns, I loved his style of play. It was real sad days the days these 2 players passed..

I loathe Celtic, but I can admit to the feats they've achieved and respect some of the players they've had, would have said different things when I was 12. Sadly there's not enough spotlight on these kind of guys because it doesn't attract as much attention as the negative behaviour of fans. Weird how they demanded that the derby be postponed for O'Donnell (a bit-part player departed eight years prior) yet didn't do the same when Tommy Burns died, who made hundreds of appearances as a player and was a former manager most of the players knew personally. I wonder why?

Well I'll tell you now my answers: Thing I admire most is the atmosphere at Parkhead; its outstanding. And 67...no one can take that away from you, an unbelievable achievement. Best player I saw at Celtic, of course, was Larsson. Moravcik was incredible too. Either of those could win you a game against any team in football.

I agree. I'm an Aberdeen fan and felt the embarrassment on behalf of that idiot. It's one thing to be loyal to your Club/Team, but you have to acknowledge achievements of your rivals. For me, what was truly embarrassing about that guy was the fact he had (presumably) his Son with him, that wee laddie has no chance with a Faither like that.

@@garyclark1130 Absolutely. I was a huge admirer of Cooper, McCoist, Derek Ferguson as an example. I 'hated' them when they played against Aberdeen, but i could admire them every other week. In many ways it's Scottish Football's Achilles Heel, that our fans are so tribal in many cases.
