Hi Stephanie. You are such an inspiration and thank you for putting out such meaningful content. I just IG messaged you about my cousin who is a clinical psychologist specializing in relationships with food and intuitive eating who may be able to give a great perspective! She’s been practicing for decades and has written countless books on the topic. I’d love to put you in touch if you’d like!
I just want to say you help my eating disorder so much. My head goes so quiet after watching your videos. They're educational, helpful, not filled with peer pressure and ridiculous eating or workout habits to achieve health and it's about health over all else. I seriously started working out again for the first time since my miscarriage because you said you did 45 minutes 3 times a week and that seemed doable! I've been watching you for years now but no matter what you seem to say or do, you keep inspiring me to be healthy. So thank you more than I can say, you're truly an amazing individual ❤️
I think a collab with Natacha Oceane, Dietitian Deanna or Abbey Sharp where you talk about intuitive eating would be really cool and helpful. But honestly we NEED a collab with Natacha Oceane, literally doing anything with her would be amazing. Lots of love and support from Guatemala! 🤍🤍🤍🤍🇬🇹🇬🇹
Can I just say that you’re hair looks so much healthier, thicker and shiner since you finished you’re all in! I’m so proud of you and your accomplishments. You look absolutely beautiful♥️
i totally agree💕 hey btw maya, i recently started my own channel where i talk a lot about self growth, nutrition and all things life, if u wanna check it out☺️
Steph!!As a fifteen-year old girl who struggles with body image and eating disorder I would love to see a video about intuitive eating from you!!!! Plus you're video never bore me, I was literally shouting "noooo" from the inside when this video ended. You're videos are also fun to watch while doing a workout instead of listening to music or sth else hehe
Never sick of you!!!! 🥰 You are just such a genuine person and a breathe of fresh air in this community!! I love bringing on some experts. As someone who has 75lbs to lose and has struggled with food, diet and weight all my life I am very interested in any information you provide. The last few months I have been working on changing my relationship with food. I still track, but I eat foods that make me feel good and energetic and don't restrict or focus on the calories. For the first time in my life my relationship with food isn't focused on the food (cravings, restrictions, "good/bad foods") but rather on how I feel and listening to my body. It is crazy how good it feels!!! When you stop restricting you don't feel like binging on those foods anymore!!! Can't wait for more content...and your mom is ADORABLE 🥰
Seeing the brussel sprouts you had for lunch reminded me of the first time you forgot your food in the air fryer and how big of a milestone that was for you. I love you steph and im so proud of you
I can so relate to you! I used to have bulimia, then stopped that but was still too restrictive with not allowing myself to eat "junk food." I actually went "all in" and would sometimes eat a donut and a pint of ice cream for a meal. But after a while, it evened out more to where I didn't wanna binge anymore. It is so cool to hear and watch your story, thank you!
love love LOVE that you can enjoy a nutritious lunch with cruciferous vegetables & great protein, etc. and also enjoy frozen pizza on the same day without feeling compelled to include a salad with the pizza or limit to a certain number of slices. Such a positive relationship with food. GOALS!
Love the idea of a full body program that's efficient! Hope you will consider supersets that don't require use of 2 different machines that might not work well in some gym layouts :)
me tooo😍 hey btw jenny, i recently started my own channel where i talk a lot about self growth, nutrition and all things life, if u wanna check it out☺️
Not sure if this fits in your area of expertise or not, but it would be nice to have a video about hormonal balancing diets, especially for women hormones (like estrogen or lowering of androgen/testosterone)! It would also be nice to have a diet that works for ppl with insulin resistance, again if it's your area of expertise.
Woah! Yeah, I think insulin resistance is a specific topic (I’d love her to do one hypothyroidism since I have it but not everyone is going to want that either), but I think there’s so many hormone imbalance issues for women, that it would be a super helpful discussion to talk about hormone balancing!
@@tiffariff you’re welcome! His information is extremely to the point. Personally the way of eating allowed me to heal all my autoimmune symptoms and issues and have the best blood work I’ve ever had. Truly remarkable. Plus he looks super human& I now feel and look better because of it too
I went all in because of you 2 years ago. I've gained 35 lbs and am finally feeling steady, my hormones are more balanced and I am recovering from some chronic conditions. Thank you!
Yay a workout program! I get overwhelmed whenever I go to the gym solo and I don't feel very motivated without some sort of plan. Thank you for sharing with us!
hey Stephanie, did you ever suffer feelings of self-consciousness when eating in public (especially when you're the only one eating) during the all in diet? im a few days in and currently still suffering a bit from that
I am SO extremely interested in a home program! We are still high risk for covid so I have been just winging it with what I have for the last two years and it has been less than ideal. I'd totally follow your home program!
You are literally one of the only channels I look forward to watching and I make sure I keep my notifications on! Thank you for being translucent with your content and making it realistic and relatable to the everyday girl. I appreciate your soul and I pray you accomplish all of your goals in life.
Hey Stephanie!! I love watching your videos, I’ve been a sub for years. I don’t think I’ve ever commented on a video but I really want to show my support towards you because it fr does feel like you’re my friend. You’re so strong and bad-ass, don’t let yourself feel otherwise. Ilysm ❤️😊
I would love to know more about your hair care routine :). I've been doing intuitive eating for about 5 months now and just got back into exercising (I had stopped for some time because I wasn't able to exercise without obsessing about my body) and it's going really well. You have been an inspiration for me along the way!
me too! hey btw josée, i recently started my own channel where i talk a lot about self growth, nutrition and all things life, if u wanna check it out☺️
Steph I love the intuitive eating video idea. I would be curious to see you interview a high performing athlete that eats intuitively and can keep up with their sport. I can't ever seem to eat enough when in serious training blocks because my satiety cuts me off first. so intuitively i would always under-eat for my level of activity.. Hope that makes sense! :)
Love love loooove this video, i often tend to feel very guilty after eating for instance a pizza but after seeing your eating habits i learned that its ok to eat not super healty or foods with not a lot of protein sometimes. Its ok to not always eat healty and your body can still look beautiful❤ love your content, please make more😊
i totally agree and i love your name😀 i recently started my own channel where i talk a lot about self growth, nutrition and all things life, if u wanna check it out☺️
I’m glad you’re uploading more often. I get being excited about not having to eat as much bc I used to have BED and now it’s crazy how fast I get full… but.. you don’t have to address it every video, it’s too repetitive and I would much rather watch you do your make up or hair and just going out meeting friends and stuff. Another idea would be you talking about what your career options are with your PhD or if you ever plan on using it for something (not trying to sound bitchy just genuinely curious)
@Morgan but she is repetitive though? I didn’t lie. She said in this video she wants feedback so that’s what im giving her. It’s not always going to be 100% positive, but I think I was pretty nice and fair in my comment.
yaaaaas queen thank you so much i really am grateful that you are arranging to interview people on intuitive eating and things that would be really interesting for me xx
I LOVE the video idea you mentioned. I'm in a... let's say critical phase of my recovery from anorexia. Like, I have a pretty normal weight, but I still kind of cling to a semi-strict meal plan for every day. I really want to take the leap to eating inutitively again. But it freaking scares me and I wonder if "I am ready yet" Probably a pretty stupid thing to ask myself. Though I can imagine that the video you plan on doing might really help me.... A LOT! :)
I am in a recovery phase from a 10 year period of an ED. I definitely feel you on wanting to learn how to eat intuitively and listen to the body. there's a freeing *yes* feeling to watching stephanie's videos. so good. I just wanted to share (if it resonates) that what has been the most supportive thing for me in learning how to eat intuitively and listen to what my system wants, has been working on how to feel safe in the body and building my capacity (like working a new muscle) of handling stressors, whatever they may be in life. and being kind to yourself. :)
What helped me with that was telling myself “I’ll just try it for a week, and if it turns out I’m not ready I can go back to what I was doing before”. At the end of the week, nothing changed except that I wasn’t hungry or thinking about food as much. The whole week I thought I had gained significant weight, but when I finally stepped on the scale again it was literally exactly the same. So I extended it one more week. And at the end of that week, still nothing changed except that I was feeling so much better. So the third week I decided not to weigh myself for two weeks (instead of at the end of every week like I was doing until that point). And so on; every few weeks I would extend my comfort zone a little further, take one more small step towards my goal, always with the option of going back one step at the end of the week if it turned out to be too much. That gave me the strength to try for long enough that I actually gave my mind and body enough time to adjust to each step before I decided if it was something I wanted to continue or not, but it was also a small enough length of time that any uncomfortable changes that could happen were not dramatic enough to send me spiralling. (As in, anything that can be done to your body within a week can be undone in the same length length of time or less). The hardest part is starting. Recovery is scary, challenging, and it takes a long time, so as long as your health is not in danger, (as in, you’re weight restored and eating enough each day, even if it’s just enough and you still have a restrictive mindset) give yourself as much time as you need and take recovery as slowly as you want. It’s your life and your body and your recovery, you should always be the one in control of it. Only you know what pace works best for you, don’t be afraid to experiment with different methods for a small time frame (like one or two weeks) until you find what works best for you, and don’t be afraid to quit something if it doesn’t work for you. Just start trying, and never stop looking for new things to try until you find a mindset and habits that actually make you feel happy, healthy, and fulfilled. Recovery is uncomfortable, and you will have to push yourself out of your comfort zone, face new fears, learn to tolerate some discomfort. That’s just part of life. But never forget that the point is to make your life better for YOU. If you genuinely feel happier when you stick to a meal plan, there’s no reason to stop making one. It’s only if you feel burdened by it that you should start making a plan to change, ie, giving yourself one “free” unplanned snack to eat per day that isn’t on your schedule or chosen in advance, just whatever you feel like having that day in the moment. It’s just about being honest with yourself about what actually makes you feel better, and what you’re just using to avoid dealing with negative feelings. So, if sticking to a rigid meal plan genuinely makes you feel better, then stick with it, but if it just makes you not feel anxious, then it’s probably not something that genuinely makes you happy. The absence of bad is NOT the same as being full of good. At the end of day, it’s your life and the way you choose to live it is and always should be up to you. So you should never give in to outside pressure that makes you feel rushed to push yourself too far, too fast. But you should also never choose to stay sick and waste your life obsessing over something that will never make you happy. So, take as small a step in the right direction as you feel you need to- just never stop moving forward.
riight same here💕 hey btw, i recently started my own channel where i talk a lot about self growth, nutrition and all things life, if u wanna check it out☺️
i tootally agree💕 hey btw cristina, i recently started my own channel where i talk a lot about self growth, nutrition and all things life, if u wanna check it out☺️
Really enjoying your process, it's been a game changer for me and my life. I wasn't ever a bikini contestant.. but I have always struggled with my weight. I haven't weighed my self in over a month which is huge and I've been in the food freedom process for about 3 months....I am however feeling the ups n downs with the weight gain and clothes not fitting well. I've gone shopping and I just can't find the right stuff..... I feel like I'm at a stand still. But I'm going to keep pushing myself.
I’m so happy you’re back… I totally understand what you went through with your mom I went through the same exact thing. She was my everything and passed away about four years ago which was so hard to live with until some time passes to heal the brief. You are truly are an inspiration 💕
If you ever come across Home Run Inn frozen pizza (typically carried at Sprouts in Arizona) I HIGHLY recommend. It's the best frozen pizza imo. The crust is super buttery and flaky and the toppings are top notch. My favorite is the sausage supreme. Gotta try it!!
riight me too! hey btw ellinor, i recently started my own channel where i talk a lot about self growth, nutrition and all things life, if u wanna check it out☺️
Happy Mother’s Day to your mom. My mom is similar to yours. I love what u eat except I found if I eat animal protein breakfast I feel so much better all day.
Yes! I was super interested in the last video where you mentioned your new workout schedule and would love a program for it! Sampling your app and love it btw! I just had twins and would love an efficient way of hitting full body at the gym.
I have been following you for years. I love watching you get better and better and becoming more beautiful inside and out ♥️ I feel like you are an old friend of mine
riight i feel the same💕 hey btw reiko, i recently started my own channel where i talk a lot about self growth, nutrition and all things life, if u wanna check it out☺️
Love the video steph! I get so excited every time I see you post. I was curious if you’d ever do a video talking about long distance relationships (maybe with Jeff?) and what that has been like
You are so incredibly beautiful inside and out. Thanks for sharing. I've been following for a while and personally struggle with an eating disorder so it's reassuring that everything in moderation is beneficial
