When I was a child we had raw milk all the time. No one ever called it raw milk. It was just milk 😂. My husband was just saying ice cream was better when we put the eggs in it

Yes! The eggs make it creamier:) Let's make raw milk that normal again!

I grew up on a farm drinking loads of raw milk everyday as well (albeit from a Holstein cow). We used to do the hand crank ice cream as well - it was amazing. Since moving into the "big city" I really don't drink that much milk anymore - just not the same. Every time I see someone put raw milk they just produced into a cup a coffee though it makes me long for those days - nothing better. Nice work on this video.

Need ocean plants to hybrid with fresh water and grass to be watered with ocean water Send ocean water through dry rivers with a separate sewage pipeline and your rivers and swimming pool will have ocean fish, use a steam distiller for disinfected salt free drinking water and your planet will make it, I know Put salt on your roads, plant ocean grass and one fire won't burn down a California neighborhood Get generic engineers to work on hybriding ocean root structures with fresh water plants for the future of farming Send your lawnmower clippings fresh with $3,200 tax refunds to feed 3x more cattle, 3x more milk, cheese, ice cream and cheesecake, maybe people full time will be riding around in air conditioned tinted window xfm lawnmower, others can work 4 day work weeks and get paid to mow their lawn once a week. Cows go into a building with plastic strip doors, out of a refrigeration coolerfresh shredded has sprayed with water comes out on 4' high conveyors to feed the cattle. After 20 minutes is hours back in another 6" below it comes out, stays cool and fresh, cows are cooler inside, eat more, fans on, no flies on them, they get bigger quicker, they get a small bowl of ice cream at the end, enjoy their life and make you the best milk, the happiest cows. Before they get arthritis they get a sick with some fentynal and go to sleep, then it's an hour before a freezing. They're still conscious for up to that. Take a 60B insist to 180 Billion. You throw it away and pay to pick it up and dump it away year. You throw away 3x your cattle potential every year. And you're going hungry and need a war for your kids? Crazy You wait all year for a corn crop yet mow the United States every week and instead pay to pick it up and throw it away Maybe the river waste water can go into the desert instead of the Gulf One day they can make a storage sealed waste line in the river and everyone is off toilet to tap

We make butter, yogurt and cheese every week and ice cream at least once a month... I'll have to try your ice cream recipe next time! The easiest way we have found to make yogurt is in an instant pot and a yogurt strainer because we like thick Greek yogurt.
@morethanfarmers
@morethanfarmers Год назад
That's awesome! Greek yogurt is a favorite of mine as well...It's a bit more time-consuming though so Michelle only does it occasionally:) Good luck on the ice cream!

Ok, could you have ended this video any more adorable!?🥰 We are just getting started in dairy with our first small herd of goats. We are loving having raw milk around the house! Currently any extra goes straight into our freeze dryer to powder because I don't want to buy any milk over the winter when we dry our girls off! Next year hoping to have even more to "play" with and make all the things! I love the morning drink you demonstrated; one of my twenty-something sons is always looking for something with a bit more protein to help him make it through his day!

I just found your channel yesterday and I love your videos! I also think we live within an hour of your farm!!! We currently live in northern Fayette County (Jeffersonville) but will be moving soon to northern Ross County to a property with just over 5 acres. So, hello neighbors!!! We have laying hens already and plan on adding a beef cow or two in the near future. I'd love to have a dairy cow and am so pleased to hear that you only milk once a day...I think that's way more doable than the thought of having to be home by a certain time every single day twice a day. Can't wait to continue learning stustainable homesteading with your family!

A small portion of the milk, you can add lemon juice and turn it into sour cream for taco night! Plus, I wondered if you could split milk with additional water which reduces the excess weight gain yet still provides the nourishment for your body.

Good morning new friends. I got a tick bite and cannot do meat, dairy, gluten, or processed foods it’s been a life changing event. So I cannot consume dairy. However, my family still can. I would love to find a local farmer for raw milk. There are a few and they have a waiting list for the milk. Before the tick bite I have asthma and couldn’t consume much milk but loved chocolate milk. I can do the nut milks. Building a house is stressful we are in the process and have waited a year for windows and the waiting on materials has been so hard. I am so ready to be done! I appreciate the wife’s explanation on the difference in the cows and grass fed vs, grain fed and different breeds. New to your channel. I hope you have a blessed week! Wendy🙏🏻🇺🇸🌎

I found your video/channel through the collab and LeAnne's playlist. Glad to meet you. Your video and editing is beautiful. I've recently moved to my homestead (it'll be 2 years this fall). I'd like to have a milk animal at some point but I'm not ready yet. Thank you for this video! I'd LOVE to be able to make my own ice cream.

You could share more with the calf 🙂. I think what you have built re: the farm is impressive but no family and friends needs that much milk

The calf gets all it can drink. And we have a waiting list of people that want to get milk from us.

I love your channel. Side note, for me, raw milk was the cure. I have suffered with IBS for 40 years, bad enough to be hospitalized many times. Since getting my cows 12 years ago that went away. I also have a 15 year old ice cream maker like yours. They are so convenient and easy. I also make frozen yogurt in it. Best of luck!

I am happy to see people who have cows to consume and drink raw milk, I drink it as well, it is essential for overall health, I prefer it over any other milk.

Hello! We are new to your channel and are enjoying your content. We use any leftover milk by soaking our chickens' feed and they love it! We call it "mash" and it is a healthy boost of nutrition for them. 😊 God Bless

Great! I’m happy with the dairy-list. I want to find out more about making dairyproducts even though I’ll probably never have a cow or goat. Raw eggs however are not for me. I’m not that fond of eggs anyway. I am a very big cheese fan though! Thanks Codi and Michelle for another nice vid :)
