Most of the mango produce you find in Chilean markets is imported from Brasil, Peru, Ecuador and also Mexico. Brasil is the main producer of mango in South America. You can find mango crops in northern Chile, The Oasis of Pica is famous not only for its lime but also for its tiny mango, guayaba (guava) and tangelo. Arica and Rapa Nui also produce mango.

You should visit Mercado Central, La Vega Central y la Vega Chica (Tirso de Molina), there you can find a lot of different of tipical chilean food. And when you go to Cerro San Cristobal near la Virgen there is a little shop when you can buy one of the best mote con huesillos.

Jon,It'd be interesting to know from her mouth whether Shaka Zulu ,the great south african warrior of the XIX Century reached Malawi...Also if there was too much British influence in that southern cone over those years. I know she's not that old to know the details but she must've been told some day by some of her relatives about those African historical chapters. Obviously she must've heard many tirades pro and against them . Off the record ,ask her if she can play the Kalimba,that wooden board with attached metal tines,if she does it ,try to include a couple of minutes of her playing it in one of your vlogs ,that''ll be so educational for your viewers ,as we would learn a bit about her cultural background.

Tawina was visiting as a tourist, yes! It was a pain to get all of the paperwork for her to come into the country but once she got it she loved it! She had the cazuela and she thought it was ok but it was a ton of food for one meal. She loved her stay and had so many nice things to say about Chile after her week here :)
Sorry to hear Tawina had so much hassle getting her papers to enter the country, doesn't seem fair for a tourist. But I'm glad she liked her stay, anybody would in your company👍🏻😊⚘
Hi Jon, good video, Welcome Tawina!, I hope you have a great time here in Chile!, I regret not agreeing, but I do not like zoos, I would leave animals free to live in their home habitats. I do not like to see them sad and bored in cages, I never go to any zoo or circus because of caged animals, or support rodeo or bullfighting, and I'm not an animalist, just a person with feelings. Things must've changed...20 years ago I chin-wagged at the shops in Windsor and never had to problems to spend a penny....On the contrary, even at Marks & Spencer a free nook to drain my lizard was offered to me....

No soy racista ni tengo mezquindades pero la realidad es que Chile está colapsado con gente de otros países, por eso no me hace ninguna gracia esa mujer africana en Chile, podría haberse quedado en su beautiful Africa. Chile es de los Chilenos, sin ninguna duda. Si yo fuese presidente, haría una selección de extranjeros para dejarlos vivir en Chile, los que ejerzan trabajos que realmente Chile necesite, ej: médicos, científicos, ingenieros, etc y los que no faltan, están demás. Sobran, molestan, atropellan, invaden, toman trabajos que podrían hacerlo los Chilenos.
