Diaz calling out Masvidal is Real recognizing Real. Most people fall for the hype, promos, and gimmicks but only a select few can understand and recognize Real.
diaz could beat him if he comes out looking as gassed and sluggish from the start as he did against usman. to me in masvidal's last 2 fights he looked like 2 completely different fighters, and not just because of the different opponents. against usman he never showed the sharpness or explosiveness he had for the first half of the diaz fight, and he looked more flabby. it's like the fame and money are making it tough to train at the same level he did before this boost in popularity.
Real doesn’t win you a fight. Nate is washed when compared to folks now. He hasn’t kept up. Plus he has waaaay to much scar tissue. No point in even fighting him when the risk of a stoppage due to blood is always the highest of high compared to others.
god...i mean i enjoy Chael's vids, but these last few days have been special. Chael got that sweet call with Jorge, and now he's talking discussing what is Nate Diaz(the legend), god bless all of these people and yourself.
Like him or not, Nate 's got influence in the UFC. He doesn't give any choices to matchmakers by calling out fighters by himself live. Fans love him (most of them) He 's got the experience + his big brother's one. Avoiding the traps Nick felt into. BTW Nate's showing up certainly cause his surgical care's nearly done. Expect a fight before 2021. Unfortunately, even as a fan, it's difficult to not remember how much better Nick was.
What do you mean by "the traps Nick fell into"? Love Nate but Nick was definitely the better fighter in his day. If that doctor hadn't stopped the first KJ Noons fight, and if he had won the decision against Condit like he probably should have, then Nick would have been on a 17 fight win streak by the time he faced GSP... People forget about him.. Easily my favourite MMA fighter of all time and his fight vs Daley is my favourite MMA fight of all time
Cyrus Harding I think he was referring to the business side of being a UFC fighter, not like traps being set by other fighters in actual fights. I could be wrong, but you guys both agree that Nick was a better fighter. It’s a shame we have to say that in the past tense. Would love to see Nick make a killer comeback and just start smokin’ fools.
I love Nate. He’s a BMF in his own right, but Jorge was slapping the shit out of him. Therefore Jorge is the BMF. If he can beat Usman, that’ll give him legend status.
Chael's college student RU-vid handler: "Professor, I did so poorly on my exam because the American Gangster had me stay awake all night making videos that teach the world about MMA." College professor: "Some things are more important than college exams. You definitely have your priorities straight, young man. I will give you an A. Besides, I wouldn't want the biggest arms in West Linn coming down on you if you told Chael you need to study instead of posting his videos."
Jorge talked and talked and talked for months and then he got in the cage and froze under the bright lights. He did absolutely nothing. He bored me & annoyed me with his stupid smiling while he's clearly losing the bout. Disgusting!
Neither Nate nor Jorge wanted a doctor stoppage in their fight. Jorge wanted a baptism and Nate just wanted to kick some ass. I still think Nate's plan was to let Jorge punch himself out on Nate's face and liver, then come back in the later rounds and submit him. Lmfao... They will definitely be a do over in our future.
@@asapgroovy Nate actually was putting up a good offense early in the fight if he could have avoided those bangers and not allowed Jorge to clench after he clipped I think he could have wore down Jorge with body kicks and punches throughout the fight and Jorge would be sucking air through a coffee straw for the last 2 rounds
Whatever was going to happen in the last 2 rounds we will never know. We know for a fact Nate was not finished. We can speculate all day on the potential outcome of their fight but we will have no real answers until the rematch. RUN IT BACK!!
If you watch the end of the 3rd round Jorge threw his hands above his head and started to smile because he knew he was getting a little tired and falling into the Diaz trap. Let your opponent punch themselves out and then bring on the heat. So many casuals don’t realize this technique. But it was made famous years ago by a mr. Muhammad Ali.
@@jackdot708 i did and Masvidal was the dominant one but Nate had his moments in that fight too. Out- boxed him a couple of times in those 3 rounds and the 3rd round ended with Nate attacking Masvidal off his back though masvidal landed the last shot. But the best moment in that fight was the begining when Masvidal faked that flying knee😅
@@razorramoneljefe5956 Nick is crazy but remember he the younger bro and Nate bin in it a little longer bro, but I don't think Nick ever lost. 2 fighting champs that don't back down🥊🥊🥊🥊
Nate should shit talk his way to a fight with Ferguson, at a weight class of their choice. One that fight is sure to excite hardcores, and Nate is popular enough to draw out the best in El Cucuy promotionally. If he wins here, he will have enough momentum to challenge for any belt of his choosing really.
I think Nate beats Tony, but I don't think that warrants a title shot over Conor or Dustin. As far as "any" title he wants, you must mean LW, or WW.. How would a win over Tony justify Nate skipping ahead of everyone at WW?
It’s always a great thing when fighters elevate themselves and those around them. Nate called out Jorge and I hope Jorge calls out Nate after he stomps Marty. In a world of phonies and fake personalities, like the last two guys to fight for the WW title, it’s refreshing to see Masvidal and Diaz bringing back authenticity.
The part about Jorge returning the favor is spot on. The Nate Diaz fight took him from the guy that knocked out Ben Askrin in 2 sec to Jorge Gamebred, punch your face in Masvidal. Of course it was all orchestrated, but I know Nate picked him to spotlight. They've had similar careers if you think about it.
@@diamondcutter4056 a Diaz as Champion bruh.... Imagineeeeeeeeeeeee Dana White going to put the belt on his waist and he grabs it outta his hand. Bruhhhhhhh
That would be cool, but as much as I also like Nate Diaz, it was a pretty one sided fight for the BMF belt and I think Jorge thinks it will be an easy fight and lots of money as well.
I’m glad you done a segment on this, his background comments after the Askren match, and then seeing this. That cemented my fandom for the guy. He’s a good dude.
Nate is a savage, all amount of full power punches he got at R1 and survived cleverly. And come back stronger like a wounded wolf. It’s something very unique. I believe all fighters that are on the ranked list would not be able to survive at 2 first rounds under the same amount of punches
Imagine (and yeah to be fair it's an extremely unlikely outcome) Masvidal wins, gives nate the title shot, nate wins, now Nate v Conor 3 is for the 170lb belt. That would be the biggest fight ever $$$
Cole Hernandez Diaz isn’t a top ranked fighter, and that’s the only fight he could win against an even remotely big name, unless he wants to call out cowboy or Kevin Lee
Man your style of just speculations on speculations is perfect it’s just what the fans needs for a comprehensive narrative you’re the best keep the good work
Nate lost 3 rounds in a row to Masvidal but I want to give him the benefit of the doubt and say he could have done better in rounds 4 and 5. So I would want to see that rematch to find out if he's right about that.
I rewatched that fight that was posted for free today. I noticed that Nate got pissed off and emotional when Jorge charged at him to fake a flying knee. After that Diaz just charged in at him sloppily. That first exchange fucked him up. Maybe that had a little to do with it, I'm thinking he went off the gameplan.
@@chickendinner5572 nate has no gameplan. Dude does the same thing every fight. He looked sloppy because gamebred made him look that way. He proved he's the better fighter
Jorge was gassed..go back and watch at the end of the 3rd...jorge had his hands on his head, dude had tired out...he had emptied his tank because any other human being should of been dead by all those shots he hit nate with... all respect to jorge tho, but cmon bro nates the realest maafukah in the game... fuck these boring ass wrestlers with the belts aswel... lol
Even if he retired now, even if he's 20 wins 11 losses he n his bro are legends who will never be forgotten. He ain't the fastest or strongest but def the toughest n biggest heart..he's not a bitch he's got good boxing, cardio n if you wanna take it to the ground you might get choked out.His brother Nick instilled that n why I respect the love they have for one another...oh n they both got ADHD like a btch LOL.. No I'm just playing he's my boy Nate. His camp is tough n experienced n when you have Nick Diaz mentality? Its a win win
Thank you for finally talking about this topic. 2 of the realest fighters in the game today did it exactly how it's supposed to be done. 100% respect between both world killers who bring the pain and truly fight the kill or be killed code when they fight. #truelivinglegends
Nate Diaz has been my very fighter since I 1st saw him on The Ultimate Fighter, he came in built like me long and lanky and he is just a tough, and real BMFer. My only wish is I saw him fight more and had a title. But, its added longevity to his career, and he is also a business man!
I think he's happy just smoking weed chilling with nick and riding 500miles,winning iron man competitions training his bollocks off, I'd be pretty surprised if he didnt fight again tho
Hey, Chael! Use your connections and find out if Nate has gotten the surgery for his scar tissue. I don't wnt to see him in another fight if he hasn't.
It almost brings a tear to my eye, the fact that Nate knows he can get someone someone a big money fight and gave it to masvidal. Now masvidal is going to return the favour, it’s a beautiful thing what they’re doing and I hope that masvidal wins the title.
Daniel Gigante Ohh so Gilbert burns honestly deserved to jumped the whole welterweight division after a win over a mentally misplaced and physically worn down Woodley? Why because Marty wanted an easy fight with a gym friend. He looks way out of place knowing he has masvidal on Saturday over burns.🤣
@@kyroindigo4883 He's on a six-fight win streak. In fact, he hasn't lost at WW. His last 3 wins have been against Gunnar Nelson, Demian Maia (ranked 5 when burns beat him) and Woodley (ranked #1 at the time of fighting). Who deserved the fight? Leon Edwards? Ok, you could make that case, but his recent wins aren't as impressive. As for Nate, he's lost 2 of his last 3, with his win coming over a guy ranked at number 11. So, yea, you're an idiot.
Out of all the fighters ive got to meet, masvidal, jones, faber, both diaz brothers and plenty more. Diaz bros were the only ones who acted like they was equal to everyone
I rewatched the masvidal fight the other day and although he got pummeled the first 3 rounds I did wonder how the 4th and 5th rounds would've went I suspect it would've went the distance and masvidal would've won by decision. I don't think the masvidal rematch is a good idea tbh. Id like to see him fight conor a third time or fight someone he's guaranteed to get a win against. I don't want to see him come back and lose again
I heard his camp went wrong a lot. He hurt his knee which kept him from doing certain things. Also nick didn’t help him at all during the camp. I think if nick trains him and coaches him. He wins
I was gonna counter about conors knockdowns when he still barely won. However, before I pressed reply I watched the masvidal fight again to be sure - still don't like it being ended based on scar tissue, but you're right - it was a dismantling, and he wasn't slowing down.
weird, i just rewatched it yesterday and was surprised how close it was. nate came back and rocked jorge rd 1, and besides the blood nate recovered fine and jorge was clearly gassing.
