The notion of "generations" is stupid anyway, especially when each generation is supposed to have a 15-year range. A person born in 1998 will have a vastly different cultural experience growing up than a kid that was born in 2010 and yet we group both of them in the same generation for some reason

The stereotypes are stale with only minor similarities between those born within 15 years of each other like late-night informercials or cassettes randomly bugging out and scaring the life out of someone. It’s simply a label and socially constructed, only because someone decided the classification and distinction of “every 15 years” was meaningful in any way. To put it into perspective: Someone from Gen Z can have the technology of older generations from inheritance or other circumstances. They grew up like an older generation in that sense and will not relate to the majority of Gen Z. Someone born Gen X and alienated from their own politics, education system will grow up not having experienced the tribulations or big events of that time-period. None of these things make someone any less or more of the “generation” they were born in. It’s just a meaningless generalization term that allows people to categorize and stereotype others like zodiac signs for example.
