What every marriage needs most is God! I have seen most marriages without God and faith FAIL. Both husband and wife need to be following Yeshua and repenting daily, to have their marriage survive all of the tough times.
@ WontB Quiet What every marriage needs most is what GOD said right from the start : to be one flesh , ie sex. Sex is the glue that holds a couple together like no other thing can do. God allows his children to get married because of their sexual urges . If it was not for sex , Christians would not need marriage. The Bible is crystal clear on that. Making marriage a whole spiritual thing sems so holy , even holier than you stuff but it is completely off scriptures. You can pray , fast , read the Bible 20 hours a day . If you don't keep the marriage bed alive , your marriage will fail and you will fall into temptations. No one needs marriage to love , pray , fast and read the Bible. Hiding the specificity of marriage is definitely a work of the devil and Piper beats around the bush but NEVER gets straight to the point. All that I have learnt , I 've learnt it from the Bible. Not from those useless teachers who just suppress the truth.

Does anybody know who has knowledge on marrying someone with mental issues such as traumatic experiences that cause anger outbursts and low self image? I really love her and we’ve known each other for almost 4 years now... believers keep telling me she’s not the right one because of how she is but isn’t unfair that just because she has a condition and falls into depression often that I should just leave her? Someone help me with this, I know it’s frustrating being around her sometimes but I learned to look past it and love her anyway...

Its not our fault having it 😥 if we can only change what had happened we rather not to have it 😥 having someone on our side who would love us even though how hard we go through thats a blessing ... 😥 its really hard having this illness . but having you in her side is the most wonderful blessing ... Im married too. My husband loves me no matter how hard i go through. He is always on my side . and thats enough for me to live and to be happy.. ❤ for me its be on her shoe first... If she loves you then have a courage to fight for her 😊

I heard a pastor once say that he has found in his 20 year plus of pastoring that many millennials and people from the younger generations are experiencing trauma at very high rates. They have grown up or are growing up experiencing and seeing things that older generations have not dealt with before. I will tell you two things: 1. As a wife of 20 years, I have a husband (he’s 41) that has seen and experienced things that I never have and it results in some toxic behaviors. It affects important areas of our lives. I have to always remember that I cannot change him, only God can. I also remind myself that this is his issue not mine and I do not allow him to treat me in ungodly ways because of his past experiences. I also take time to compassionately show him how his upbringing and past experiences are reflected in his behaviors as soon as it comes up. It’s helps give him pause. 2. As a small group leader to women, I teach the women that they must take responsibility for their actions even the ones they feel are a result of trauma. At some point, they must realize that they are only doing themselves harm by hanging onto the trauma and unforgiveness. They must find a way to get past it and allow God to heal them. While I acknowledge that they are hurt, I show them that it does not give them the right to lash out on others. I would also add that too many women today never realize how emotionally immature they are. It’s a disease among women. I would sit down with her, tell her that I love her and want to marry her but be honest about the things that give you pause. If she does not make significant changes, I would tell you not to marry her. You don’t want to live with a woman like that 24/7. It’s unhealthy and ungodly.

Matthew 10:15 Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for person, house or that city. Thus, I must use this verse in...Genesis 3:16 Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee. Notice the word "rule"...and 2 more verses... Ephesians 5:22 Wives, submit yourselves unto your husbands, as unto Jesus. 1 Corinthians 14:34 Let your women keep silent in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience (of their husbands) as also saith the law. Now we must be "advised"; that VERY few women, EVER has allowed any of these 3 verses; to come to fruition. And today, I doubt a single woman; would EVER obey those 3 commandments; from Jesus (who IS God). In other words; I believe they would go to hell; before "Any man rules over me; because NO man is ever going to tell me what to do!". Which we all have heard untold times in all of our lives! Sad, but true, nevertheless! May Jesus have mercy on them.. Thus I say this: To answer your question truthfully; about "What Every Marriage Needs Most"; I would say, "Follow EVERY word in those 3 verses; to the 'nth' degree. For if not, Jesus WILL punish both!". As He did in Gen 3:16 and 17 'circa 6,000 yrs ago. And that punishment is still being fruition-ed, until the END! This man beats around the bush everytime. He never calls out women for their disobedience and unsubmission and turns husbands into mere figure heads with no authority at all. Just his own words show how much he walks on egg shells with his own wife. He shall rule over you has been taught by the rebellious church as a "curse" that Christ has come to suppress which is a huge lie . Some people are best wedded to Christ Jesus, in entirety, with a constantly predominant interdependence by way of the Holy Spirit. At some point... it can feel that the Spiritual Realm is more real & it becomes quite distressing to interact with the world & all of its entanglements. So this means that no matter how good a husband can be , if the woman is not submissive , this is pure waste of time. That is why the BIBLE always focuses on the submission of the woman first . It focuses on the conduct of the woman/wife towards the man. NOT the reverse. Marriages fail because women keep struggling for power with their husbands and have no sense of sexual morality anymore. They divorce as easy as they go shopping , forgetting all about the one flesh thing which makes us sexually the property of our husbands . They are told that they can divorce and go with another man . Would they do that if they were still aware that they are in adultery ? But all that matters today is women's feelings prevailing over the word of God and the fight against sin. No matter how sinful the woman can be , how sexually immoral she is , what matters is how she FEELS and how HAPPY she is . By teaching such psychological stuff , we have just openened a Pandora box instead of telling wives to be satisfied with what they have. If they think the grass is greener elsewhere , they will sin anyway.

For sex of course ! For keeping away from sexual immorality and have children born in a two-parent structure . If it was not for sex , marriage would not be needed at all. Paul clearly says that those who enter marriage do so because of their sexual urges 1 Corinthians 7:4 So sex is what marriage needs most . But since we are spiritual , we also need a time for praying and for spiritual matters 1 Co 7:5. The Bible is no marriage book. The Bible talks about every subject including marriage . And if he really answered the question asked here , he would quote THE biblical passages about marriage which are : Proverbs 5:18 1 Corinthians 7:4/5 Ephesians 5:25 If Gid had not made Adam with a sex drive , marriage would not even be a thing. Trying to turn marriage into a spiritual thing may sound so godly but in fact it is wicked and hypocrite since it can NEVER keep anyone safe from temptations , which is THE reason why Christians are supposed to engage in marriage.
